Currently, the restoration of energy and communication networks in post-disaster power distribution systems is often considered independently, lacking effective coordination. To address this issue, this paper proposes a post-disaster recovery strategy for the energy-communication network of power distribution systems that involves coordinated scheduling of drone small cell (DSC) and maintenance personnel (MP). Firstly, scheduling models of DSC and MP are established to quantitatively analyze their temporal and spatial characteristics. Then, a post-disaster recovery strategy is proposed for the energy-communication network under the coordinated scheduling of DSC and MP. The energy-communication network is restored with the objective of minimizing the operating costs of the post-disaster power distribution system. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified through numerical simulations based on an improved IEEE 33-node distribution network. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a modular auxiliary resonant commutated pole (MARCP) inverter. The MARCP inverter eliminates the need for a connection to the DC bus or midpoint potential and has the same resonant branch for each phase, which enables its modular combination with any phase of inverters. During the operation of the proposed MARCP inverter, resonant currents are constructed in the commutation front through the voltage difference between the three bridge arms, which makes all the bridge arms resonantly commutated at the commutation-aligned moment. After commutation, resonant currents feedback to the power source. All the switches of the MARCP inverter can achieve soft-switching or pseudosoft-switching during the full switching period. In this paper, the effectiveness of the proposed topology and control method is verified by simulation. Compared with the auxiliary resonant commutated pole (ARCP) inverter, the MARCP inverter eliminates the coupling inductor or voltage dividing capacitor, which reduces the device requirement and size of the inverter. Furthermore, the main circuit and resonant circuit of the MARCP inverter are independent of each other, which is convenient for repairing and converting the hard-switching to soft-switching. © 2023 IEEE.

The beam position and size are critical for the safety of the proton therapy system. In view of the distortion of data collected by the ionization chamber during radiating, the possible physical process of noise generation is analyzed and a denoising method based on double Gaussian fitting is proposed for beam profiling in this paper. To investigate the effect of air scattering on the distortion of measured data, we performed the simulation analysis of the process after the proton beam enters the ionization chamber using Garfield++. It was found that the double Gaussian denoising method has obvious advantages over the simple single Gaussian fitting. © 2024 IEEE.

Since transverse emittance serves as a critical parameter for evaluating the performance of an electron-beam injector, accurate emittance measurement directly affects the engineering realization of not only the injector but also the entire accelerator-based facility involved. Based on the typical beam injector developed at Huazhong University of Science and technology (HUST injector), the quadrupole magnet scanning (Q-scanning) method is employed for emittance measurement. Suitable selections are made for the existing devices within the beamline, which reduce the measurement errors associated with emittance. An analysis is conducted on the selected quadrupole magnets (Q-magnets), along with an examination of the impact of fringe fields on emittance measurements, including the effects of different edge field conditions and the direct representation of fringe fields in the transfer matrix. The analysis results clearly demonstrate the importance of device selection in the Q-scanning method and the direct effects of fringe fields on various aspects. © 2024 IEEE.

Mussel-inspired Methacrylic Gelatin-dopamine/Ag Nanoparticles/Graphene Oxide Hydrogels with Improved Adhesive and Antibacterial Properties for Applications as Wound Dressings

A novel strategy was developed to prepare the methacrylic gelatin-dopamine(GelMA-DA)/Ag nanoparticles(NPs)/graphene oxide(GO) composite hydrogels with good biocompatibility,mechanical properties,and antibacterial ***-inspired DA was utilized to modify the GelMA molecules,which imparts good adhesive performance to the ***,interfacial enhancer,not only improves mechanical properties of the hydrogels,but also provides anchor sites for loading Ag NPs through numerous oxygencontaining functional groups on the *** experimental results show that the GelMA/Ag NPs/GO hydrogels have good biocompatibility,and exhibit a swelling rate of 202±16%,the lap shear strength of 147±17 kPa,and compressive modulus of 136±53 kPa,in the case of the Ag NPs/GO content of 2 mg/*** activity of the hydrogels against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria is dependent on the Ag NPs/GO content derived from the release of Ag^(+).Furthermore,the GelMA/Ag NPs/GO hydrogels possess good adhesive ability,which is resistant to highly twisted state when stuck on the surface of *** results demonstrate promising potential of the GelMA-DA/Ag NPs/GO hydrogels as wound dressings for biomedical applications in clinical and emergent treatment.

Beam scanning uniformity is an important parameter of electron irradiation accelerators, which affects the quality of irradiated products. Accurate measurements of beam scanning uniformity are required to evaluate accelerator performance. Currently, a set of devices is being developed to measure beam scanning uniformity under full beam conditions. However, the measurement device faces serious heating problems when the beam power is large. In this paper, the cooling structure of the electron collector is designed for the developed measurement device. The temperature distribution of the electron collector is simulated by ANSYS. The appropriate cooling flow rates are selected to ensure the thermal stability of the device when the total beam powers are 30 kW and 50 kW, respectively. The electron collector with a cooling structure is fabricated according to design parameters, and the experiment is carried out under a 1.5 MeV accelerator. The temperature is monitored by an infrared thermometer. The results show that the measured temperature is below the limit. The designed cooling parameters effectively solve the heating problem. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Disruption remains to be a serious threat to large tokamaks like the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor(ITER).The injection speed of disruption mitigation systems(DMS)driven by high pressure gas is limited by the sound speed of the propellant *** extrapolating to ITER-like tokamaks,long overall reaction duration and shallow penetration depth due to low injection speed make it stricter for plasma control system to predict the impending *** disruptions with a short warning time may be ***,a fast time response and high injection speed DMS is essential for large scale *** electromagnetic pellet-injection(EMPI)system is a novel massive material injection system aiming to provide rapid and effective disruption *** on the railgun concept,EMPI can accelerate the payload to over 1000 m/s and shorten the overall reaction time to a few *** verify the injection ability and stability of the EMPI,the prototype injector EMPI-1 has been designed and *** preliminary test has been carried out using a 5.9 g armature to propel a dummy pellet and the results suggest that the EMPI configuration has a great potential to be the DMS of the large scale fusion devices.

The offshore wind farm connected modular multilevel converter (MMC)-based high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) transmission system is prone to lose transient synchronization stability under AC faults. The multi-wind turbine (WT) interaction can cause a great deal WTs to lose stability in quick succession. Moreover, the multiple WTs further interact with the control of MMC, making the system stability analysis complicated. In order to guarantee a reliable operation of the system, based on equal area criterion (EAC), this paper exhaustively analyzes the stability problem of such offshore wind farm. The investigated wind farm is made up of full-scale type-4 wind turbines (WTs). It is found that the injected current distribution of MMC and WT are especially predominant in such two interactions. Based on above analysis, a stability-oriented current scheme is proposed to minimize the adverse effect of interactions, enhancing the synchronization stability. Finally, above theoretical analysis and effectiveness of the proposed current scheme are verified by MATLAB/Simulink simulation results. © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid development of global low-carbon energy, water electrolysis for hydrogen production attracts significant attention as a crucial energy conversion method. For industrial electrolysis setups, the large-scale application is limited by the issue of low efficiency. To address this issue, one promising approach is to regulate the electrolysis process by imposing an external magnetic field. However, current relevant studies usually focus on static electrolysis systems within beaker-like containers, ignoring the narrow flow channel structure and the circulating flow of electrolyte in industrial electrolyzers. Therefore, an electrolyzer using a microfluidic platform as a phantom is established. Based on the platform, this paper investigates the effects of magnetic field under different magnetic flux densities, electrolysis voltages and electrolyte flow rates. The results indicate that the magnetic field contributes to an enhancement in current density and the increase in current density shows a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of voltage or flow rate within a certain range. Moreover, The improvement increases with the increment in magnetic flux density. © 2023 IEEE.

The large-scale integration of renewable energy into the power system has resulted in increased complexity of its uncertainty. This complexity arises from the rapidly increased renewable energy sites and the intricate spatial-temporal correlations involved. To offer a more precise description of the uncertainty of renewable energy, a scenario generation method based on an improved diffusion model is proposed. This approach can autonomously learn the probability distribution and spatiotemporal correlation of the training data. It utilizes a U-Net model to progressively denoise noise and iteratively generate renewable energy scenarios. Experiments using historical power data from five wind farms and five PV plants in Jiangsu Province show that the training process of the proposed method is more stable compared to existing methods. Moreover, the proposed method achieves higher accuracy in fitting probability distribution and captures the spatial correlation between multiple sites more accurately. © 2023 IEEE.
