In this part, the thermal release processes of PCM phase change in the same energy storage unit are analyzed, and the PCM unit model is the same as in Part I: channel number is 39, the plate spacing is 0.01 m, the air channel is 40 with its plate spacing of 0.003 m, and the unit length is total of 1.62 m. MATLAB solution about the above PCM energy storage unit was performed according to the model and physical property data, and the numerical simulation was carried out by using Fluent software as well. The theoretical calculation and numerical simulation were compared and analyzed. For the release process, it also can be seen that only in the case of smaller or larger flow rate working conditions, the solution results of MATLAB for the changing rate of the average temperature of the phase change material inside the system is quite different from the FLUENT simulation result;the total results are very similar to thermal storage process. When the flow rate is higher, the difference between the two results is even smaller than the release process;the comparison result of the PCM liquid rate is different under the small flow rate condition, and this is obvious for the release process, especially under the condition of small flow rate. However, also the maximum error does not exceed 10%. Conclusion can be drown that the flow rate conditions in the model and working conditions are the important factors for affecting the compared results, but the calculation and simulation results can more accurately describe the thermal release characteristics of the PCM phase change energy storage unit, which was calculated in nearly 90% ranges of working conditions, which furtherly illustrates the effectiveness of analytical method used in this paper. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd.

When impacted by lightning current, the impulse dispersion performance of the grounding device is significantly affected by the dispersion performance of soil near the ground electrode. This effect is mainly reflected by the phenomenon of soil spark discharge. At present, engineers use the empirical formula to convert the soil spark discharge to the impulse coefficient of impulse grounding resistance. Therefore, there is no available quantitative analysis method to evaluate soil impulse dispersion performance. To solve this problem, we present an evaluation method for the impulse discharge efficiency of soil by using X-ray images, define VI as the parameter, which is the volume of discharge region to the ratio of the peak impulse. Then, the rationality and validity of the method are verified. Finally, the variation rules of impulse discharge efficiency are analyzed in different soil. Results show that the VI can reflect the impact of soil medium property on the grounding device impulse discharge efficiency more clearly, and this parameter provides a new idea for enhancing the impulse dispersion performance of soil near the ground electrode.

When lightning enters the ground through the grounding device, there will be a centralized discharge channel near the grounding device. The shape, structure and development direction of the discharge channel are affected by many factors, and have certain randomness. The spatial structure of the discharge channel in the soil has a great effect on the accuracy of the transient analysis model of soil impulse discharge. Therefore, it is very important to obtain the structural parameters and their changing law of discharge channel. In this paper, based on the gray information analysis method, the volume of successive impulse discharge channel in the ground under various current and soil conditions is calculated, and the changing law with time interval is analyzed. The results show that the time interval of has an effect on the volume of discharge channel. In a certain range, the volume of channel increases with the time interval of successive impulse discharge.

Focusing on the requirements of ubiquitous power IOT construction and improving the overall technical level RI WKH state grid Chiṕ LQGXVWU\ RXU FRPSDQ\ KDV independently developed a low-power general-purpose MCU chip, which can be widely used in the battery-powered applications, such as indicator unit of fault indicators and smart meters. This paper introduces an MCU verification method based on the fault indication unit application in the laboratory environment, that is, how to set up the application scenario of the simulated fault indication unit in the laboratory environment to verify whether the various indicators of the chip meet the actual application requirements. Vegetable insulating oil is a common kind of synthetic liquid insulating medium, which is usually applied in high voltage electrical equipment, such as transformers. At present, some mineral insulating oil has already been replaced by the eco-friendly vegetable insulating oil. Typically, the eco-friendly vegetable insulating oil not only possesses good electrical performances but also owns great biodegradability and high flash point. However, there will be impurities in any kind of vegetable insulating oil inevitably, and those impurities will have a serious influence on the properties of insulating oil. Metal-organic framework (MOF) has potential to be used as adsorbent because of its special micropore structure and large specific surface area. Meanwhile, it is convenient to prepare various of MOFs and control their structures. Nowadays, MOFs are usually used in the field of medicine delivery, chemical catalysis and gas adsorption. Nevertheless, utilizing MOF as a kind of adsorbent in vegetable insulating oil is seldom reported. In this paper, a typical MOF named zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67) was prepared and used in the research. The microstructure of ZIF-67 was observed under the scanning electron microscope (SEM). The chemical properties of ZIF-67 were characterized by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Also, ZIF-67 was used as an adsorbent to treat the aged vegetable insulating oil. Results showed that the dielectric loss of aged vegetable insulating oil can be reduced by 46.7%, and the water and acid value of the aged vegetable insulating oil could be decreased gently at the same time. This approach provides a possible solution to improve the performance of vegetable insulating oil for the high voltage electrical system.

The rapid development of Internet of Things (IoT) puts forward much requirements for wireless communication technology. Low power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) are designed for low bandwidth, low power, long range and large number of connected IoT applications. As one of the LPWAN, Low power Long Range Transceiver (LoRa) described as a Frequency Shift Chirp Modulation (FSCM), is widely concerned and studied. In this paper, the signal reception of LoRa modulation in the wireless tree topology is analyzed, and the multi-user interference analysis proves that the multi-user interference has a great impact on the system performance. At the same time, we proposed Delay Coordinated Multiple Points transmission (DCoMP). Multiple nodes close to each other send the same data to the target node. Due to the inaccuracy of synchronization between nodes, there will be a certain timing offset when sending signals to the same target node. After combining signals of multiple nodes according to different timing offset, the receiver performance of signals can be improved. The coordinated nodes can also actively adjust the signal sending timing according to the path time delay and processing delay, so as to improve the receiving performance of the signal merging algorithm of the receiver node. LoRa modulation improves the signal reception performance by adopting DCoMP transmission, thus improving the overall throughput of the system. © 2019 IEEE.

Medium-frequency transformer (MFT) is the core component of high voltage and large capacity DC/DC converter, but high frequency and high power density will lead to intensified transformer vibration. Magnetostriction and air gap Maxwell force are the main sources of vibration and noise. In this paper, nanocrystalline alloy with high saturation magnetic density, high magnetic permeability and low high frequency loss is used as the core of MFT to study its vibration characteristics. Considering the influence of transverse isotropy of nanocrystalline alloy core mechanical properties, the transient electromagnetic field-structure field weak coupling calculation method based on ANSYS finite element method is used to calculate two MFTs with 10kVA/5kHz shell-type and core-type nanocrystalline cores under no-load sine condition. The calculated volume force is imported into the structural field to obtain the vibration acceleration and displacement changes of the core, and the simulation value is compared with the experimental measurement value. The results show that the vibration of the shell-type core is stronger than that of the core-type core under the action of Maxwell force and magnetostrictive force. And the vibration acceleration frequency is twice the excitation frequency. The research in this paper can provide a basis for the design and optimization of vibration and noise of MFT.

As important and widely used electrical equipment, GIS (gas insulated switchgear)greatly affects the stability and safety of the entire power grid due to its working state and performance. When a partial discharge or local overheating occurs inside the GIS, SF 6 will decompose and produce various by-products (including SO 2 , SO 2 F 2 , COS, H 2 S, SOF 2 and etc) that are toxic and corrosive. The reduction of SF 6 gas concentration and the generation of corrosive gases will lead to a decrease in the internal insulation strength of GIS. By monitoring the concentration of SF 6 in GIS, it can help us to judge the operating status of GIS and prevent fault. In this paper, we build a gas Raman spectroscopy gas detection platform. The light source of the detection platform is a solid-state laser with a wavelength of 532nm and a laser power of 1.5W. A self-designed gas cell is used to contain the gas to be measured. A spectrometer and CCD are used to collect Raman signals. Based on this Raman spectroscopy gas detection platform, a Raman spectroscopy study of SF 6 was carried out. Under 1 atmosphere pressure, Based on the built Raman detection platform, Raman spectroscopy of SF 6 with a concentration of 99.99% was obtained. By analyzing the Raman spectroscopy obtained, the characteristic Raman spectral lines of SF 6 was determined as 774cm -1 . And the Raman spectroscopy of SF6 under the pressure of gradient distribution was obtained. The Raman spectra of SF 6 with gradient pressure, laser power were obtained. By analyzing the Raman spectroscopy of SF 6 obtained under different pressure and laser power, it is found that the characteristic peak intensity of Raman of SF 6 is highly linear with pressure and laser power. The highly linear relationship between the Raman peak intensity of SF 6 and various conditions shows that Raman spectroscopy has great advantages in the quantitative analysis of SF 6 . Dispersal of the lightning current into grounding system will cause interference on adjacent buried cables. It has been proved that the soil discharge channel can be treated as an extension of the length of grounding conductor with a random angle. In this paper, laboratory experiments were set up, coupling currents on the cable were measured and images of soil discharge channels were obtained by X-ray imaging technology, to study the phenomenon in various conditions. The parameter θ is proposed to characterize the angle of discharge channel. Experimental results show that the coupling current on the cable shield increases with the θ decreases. Therefore, it is of great significance considering the angle of soil discharge channel for the study of interference on cable and matters of equipment safety.
