A 3300V/62.5A low loss FS-IGBT was developed by using the carrier storage layer structure and laser annealing process on the back p+ collector, which could lower the saturation voltage. The effects of laser annealing energy and P+ collector dose on dynamic and static state were studied. Considering the trade-off of the turn-off loss and the saturation voltage, the IGBT was finally designed with the 2.35V saturation voltage, 132mJ turn-off loss.

At present, the power meter reading system mainly uses the single power line carrier meter reading mode or the single micro power wireless meter reading mode. Due to the disadvantages of the two modes, the single meter reading mode can not meet the meter reading under different environmental conditions. In order to improve the success rate of communication, this paper puts forward the dual-mode communication technology of power line carrier and micro power wireless integration, which is based on the power line carrier It overcomes the defects of single meter reading mode and improves the real-time performance, reliability and success rate of meter reading.

Ensuring safe and reliable operation of transformers is of great significance. The performance of insulation oil is directly related to the safe operation level of transformers. The insulation oil is more easily contaminated by particles in the high voltage and large capacity transformer. This paper mainly investigated the influence of different sizes cellulose particles on the partial discharge and breakdown properties of mineral oil under AC electrical field. Results show that the increasing of particles concentration causes the initial discharge voltage and extinguishing voltage to decrease, which is opposite to the trend of discharge capacity. Besides, the existence of cellulose particles decreases the breakdown strength of mineral oil. AC characteristic breakdown voltages decrease linearly with cellulose particles concentration increases. The larger the cellulose particle is, the lower AC breakdown voltage is. Moreover, when the concentration of cellulose particles is constant, the larger the particle size, the lower the initial discharge voltage, and the larger the apparent discharge amount, which can be attributed to the fact that larger particles can carry more charge.

This paper is to propose an optimization model for restructuring distribution network considering connecting constraints of DGs. First, problems of regional load improving and safe control of system contingency of distribution network connecting distributed generation were analyzed, and the basic concepts of returning current constraints and system contingency constraints of distributed generation were proposed. And then, two indexes of regional power total variable capacitance and 10kV feeder network structure qualification index were put forward. Subsequently, this paper proposed an optimization model for restructuring distribution network considering connecting constraints of DGs. Furthermore, an immune genetic algorithm (IGA) was proposed to solve this model. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by simulation analysis of a practical 10 kV distribution network in a certain area.

There are various kinds of disasters may incur power system blackouts and their impacts on power system are difficult to predict in advance. On the basis of existing resilience assessment indices, this paper proposes a component level resilience indices of transmission system. The component level resilience is defined as the contribution of each transmission line to system resilience under each failure scenarios. This newly developed indices can be used to quantify the resilience enhancement from the perspective of a certain component. Therefore, each failed transmission line can be ranked based on the component level indices, then optimal recovery strategies can be determined accordingly. An impact-increment state enumeration method, which is more efficient and accurate than tradition methods, is used to calculate the proposed indices. Case studies are performed on IEEE 30-bus test system to demonstrate the accuracy and computational efficiency of the proposed component level resilience indices.

In 2019, the state grid Corporation of China proposed that the important material basis for building a worldclass energy Internet enterprise is to build and operate "two networks" (ie, "Ubiquitous power Internet of Things" and "Strong smart grid"). The construction of "two networks" requires the support of a large number of terminal devices, and all devices need to complete the functions of automatic data collection and calculation. The implementation of these functions is inseparable from the support of the chip. The layout design of integrated circuits is one of the key steps in chip design. A good layout design can effectively optimize the chip area, reduce the cost of the chip, and help improve the chip performance. This article will use our company's finished chip layout design examples to explain how to achieve high security, low power consumption, high integration and low cost of power security chip from the levels of chip module layout and chip overall layout.

A modified plant growth simulation algorithm (MPGSA) is proposed for solving non-convex economic load dispatch (ELD) problems. It's a novel idea to apply PGSA to non-integer optimization problem since initially the algorithm is used for solving nonlinear integer optimization problems and has shown strong searching ability and good convergence. This paper develops the original PGSA for non-integer ELD problems. A newly designed variable multi-step growing mode containing both extensive and refined growing pattern is applied to improve the solution quality. Multiple termination criterions are established to accelerate convergence speed. Besides simple principle and easy to implement, two unique features of PGSA are that it does not need any external parameters and handles the constraints and objective function separately. The proposed approach has been validated on different test systems and better results are obtained as compared with other published methods. This research is of great significance to power system economic operation and energy saving. © 2019 IEEE.

The corona-generated space charge may vary in different air pressures,and the quantitative law between the corona-generated space charge density and air pressure has never been *** work utilised computational approaches to explore the role of air pressure in the variation of negative corona-generated space charge.A negative fluid model in which the air pressure could be varied was built up to calculate the charged-particle density and electric field under different applied *** continuity equations were solved by flux corrected transport algorithm and the Poisson equation was computed by the successive over relaxation *** variations of important parameters due to air pressure were *** particles densities of electrons,positive ions and negative ions at standard and low atmosphere pressures were computed,which increased markedly due to the decrease of atmosphere *** fixed applied voltages,the exponential decay law between the maximal values of electron/positive ion densities at the head of the streamer and air pressure could be *** quantitative law between the maximal values of electron/positive ion densities at the head of the streamer and the applied voltage,relative air density was also achieved.

Electrically heating garment (EHG) is an effective protection for human in cold environment. In this study, we analysed the principal agents of heat transfer in EHG, and established a theoretical model including heat conduction, natural convection and radiation. To verify the model, the numerical simulations and experiments were compared, and showed a temperature discrepancy smaller than 0.3°C, which was acceptable in engineering design. Using numerical simulation, it is convenient to optimize the design parameters of EHG in different thermal conditions. For instance, to maintain the average temperature of skin within 32-34°C when people are in low metabolic activities, the power of heating elements should range from 73.1-110.7 W/m2 under high heating gear or 10.8-48.5 W/m2 under low heating gear. The more importance is that the calculation allows easy predesign of EHG. The effect of the arrangements of heating elements was studied, herein, the results of six arrangement patterns were presented. It is found that the most effective arrangement can raise the average temperature of skin under heating elements about 0.4-1.2°C than other cases.

Vegetable insulation oil has been widely used as a good liquid dielectric for oil-paper insulation power equipment. During the operational life, the oil-paper insulation power equipment can suffer from hundreds of lightning impulse, which cause insulation damage. Thus, study on the accumulation effect of multiple lightning impulse on vegetable oil-paper insulation is significance. However, few literature studies on the impact of lightning impulse accumulation on vegetable oil-paper insulation. In this paper, the accumulation effects of multiple lightning impulse on vegetable oil-paper insulation are studied. The Voltage-Number (V-N) characteristics and two-parameter Weibull distribution are used to evaluate the insulation performance of rapeseed oil-paper insulation and calculate the cumulative failure probability. The dielectric properties of the oil-impregnated insulating paper were measured to analyze the insulation damage and deterioration. Results shows that dielectric constant, dielectric loss factor and volume resistivity increases with increasing cumulative number of lightning impulses.
