Recent phenomena such as pandemics,geopolitical tensions,and climate change-induced extreme weather events have caused transportation network interruptions,revealing vulnerabilities in the global supply chain.A salient example is the March 2021 Suez Canal blockage,which delayed 432 vessels carrying cargo valued at$92.7 billion,triggering widespread supply chain *** ability to model the spatiotemporal ramifications of such incidents remains *** fill this gap,we develop an agent-based complex network model integrated with frequently updated maritime *** Suez Canal blockage is taken as a case *** results indicate that the effects of such blockages go beyond the directly affected countries and *** Suez Canal blockage led to global losses of about$136.9($127.5–$147.3)billion,with India suffering 75%of these *** losses show a nonlinear relationship with the duration of blockage and exhibit intricate trends post *** proposed model can be applied to diverse blockage scenarios,potentially acting as an earlyalert system for the ensuing supply chain ***,high-resolution daily data post blockage offer valuable insights that can help nations and industries enhance their resilience against similar future events.

Off-grid inverters can maintain the current output balance even when the load is asymmetrical, which is very important for the efficient and economical operation of the micro-grid system composed of new energy. In this paper, a single three-phase voltage source inverter with unbalanced load is taken as an example to study the unbalanced mechanism, and a simple and effective current balance control strategy is proposed. Firstly, the current output characteristics of off-grid inverter are analyzed when the load is asymmetric. Then, a negative sequence component extraction method based on SOGI is adopted, and an unbalanced current suppression method is designed on the basis of this extraction method. Finally, the PLECS simulation model is used to verify the results. The results show that this strategy can effectively suppress the output current distortion caused by load asymmetry, and obtain high quality current output waveform. © 2024 IEEE.

The global spread of viruses can lead to the release of large amounts of disinfectants or antiviral drugs into the water *** resulting disinfection byproducts(DBPs)and residual antiviral drugs,acting as genotoxic substances or their precursors,may pose risks to aquatic animals and drinking water sources;however,to date,no studies have analyzed the changes in genotoxicity in the Yangtze River before and after the *** the present study,water and sediment samples from the Yangtze River were collected during different seasons,just before and after the outbreak of COVID-19,and were assessed using the SOS/umu test(with and without liver S9).The results indicated that water samples exhibited more pronounced genotoxicity than did sediments,with direct genotoxicity being the primary ***,there were significant regional differences,with notably greater genotoxicity observed in the upper Yangtze River than in the lower reaches before the COVID-19 ***,this trend was reversed six to ten months later,suggesting the accumulation of DBPs or antiviral drugs after the COVID-19 ***,the risk quotient indicated that 65%of the water samples posed a high risk for Paramecium caudatum,whereas 71%of the samples posed a medium risk for Danio rerio,thereby representing a potential threat to the ecological security of the Yangtze *** conclusion,this study,at the basin scale,revealed the impacts of COVID-19 on the Yangtze River,highlighting the need to prevent DBPs and pharmaceutical pollution during similar events in the future.

Combined Cooling, Heating and Power(CCHP) system is an important way to improve the efficiency of energy utilization and wind power consumption. In this case, increasing the operational flexibility of CCHP systems can help increase renewable energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions. So, it is necessary to provide real-time optimal energy management(OEM) for CCHP systems. In this paper. Firstly, a new training method is proposed for the LightGBM to improve the accuracy of real-time wind power prediction. In addition, to solve the nonlinear OEM of CCHP in real-time, a novel deep reinforcement learning algorithm-Soft Actor-Critic, is used in this paper. By combining the mechanism of CCHP with the reward function through knowledge fusion, the non-convex models can be translated into Markov Decision Processes(MDP), and then according to the Bellman optimal equation, the real-time optimized operation of the CCHP system is realized. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed policy is verified by the actual operation data of a CCHP system in Northwest China. © 2023 IEEE.

This study proposes a collaborative optimization configuration scheme of wind-solar ratio and energy storage based on the complementary characteristics of wind and light. On the premise of maintaining the stability of the wind-solar hybrid power generation system, the optimal allocation model of wind-solar ratio and energy storage considering the complementary characteristics of wind-solar is established with the minimum total cost of planning. At the same time, three indicators of power fluctuation index, wind-solar permeability and new energy abandonment rate are proposed to evaluate the scheme. © 2024 IEEE.

Monoterpenes have been known to have a critical influence on air quality and climate change through their impact on the formation of fine *** we present field evidence that monoterpene oxidations largely enhanced local ozone production in a regional site in eastern *** observed monoterpene was most likely from biomass burning rather than biogenic emissions,as indicated by the high correlation with CO at night-time,and the observed ratio of these two species was consistent with previously determined values from biomass burning *** monoterpene oxidations were determined experimentally based on direct radical measurements,leading to a daily ozone enhancement of 4-18 parts per billion by volume（ppb）,which was 6%-16% of the total ozone production,depending on the speciation of *** demonstrates that the previously overlo oked anthropogenic monoterpenes make an important contribution to 03 production in eastern *** role could possibly be important at similar locations across China and other parts of the world that are characterized by massive emissions,especially where there are high *** results highlight that anthropogenic monoterpenes should be taken into account when proceeding with the coordinated mitigation of O3and particulate matter pollution.

The door system is the system most frequently used by consumers. With the improvement of vehicle manufacturing accuracy and vehicle sealing level, the problem of ear pressure in the passenger compartment becomes prominent at the moment of closing the door. This paper analyses the influencing factors of human ear comfort. Based on STAR CCM+ overlapping grid technology, an analysis model of door closing ear pressure is established. The simulation analysis results show that the effective leakage area of airflow channel and relief valve is the main influencing factor of door closing ear pressure. The real vehicle test data shows that the simulation accuracy of this model can reach 96.81%, which can effectively analyses and prevent door closing ear pressure problems. © 2023 SPIE.

Battery energy storage systems(BESSs)can provide instantaneous support for frequency regulation(FR)because of their fast response ***,purely pursuing a better FR effect calls for continually rapid cycles of BESSs,which shortens their lifetime and deteriorates the operational *** coordinate the lifespan savings and the FR effect,this paper presents a control strategy for the FR of BESSs based on fuzzy logic and hierarchical *** fuzzy logic controller improves the effect of FR by adjusting the charging/discharging power of the BESS with a higher response speed and precision based on the area control error(ACE)signal and the change rate of ACE in a non-linear *** controllers effectively reduce the life loss by optimizing the depth of discharge,which ensures that the state of charge(SOC)of BESS is always in the optimal operating range,and the total FR cost is the lowest at this *** proposed method can achieve the optimal balance between ACE reduction and operational economy of *** effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified in a two-area power system.

Under the icy and snowy environment, the road conditions are complex and changeable, especially the reduction of road adhesion coefficient, which brings great challenges to the driving safety of intelligent vehicles. Aiming at the problem that the peripheral vehicle may be unstable at any time in the ice and snow environment, a path planning method considering the side slip of the peripheral vehicle in the icy and snowy environment is proposed in this paper. Firstly, reinforcement learning and artificial potential field are combined to transform the force received by the vehicle in the artificial potential field into the objective function in reinforcement learning for reinforcement learning training. Then, because this paper studies the path planning in the icy and snowy environment, considering that the sideslip of the obstacle vehicle will bring a safety threat to the vehicle, the dynamic rectangular virtual repulsion field of the obstacle vehicle is adjusted accordingly during the sideslip. So that the vehicle will be more repulsed by the obstacle vehicle at this time, and guide the vehicle to avoid the dangerous vehicle in time. Finally, the path planning results are simulated and verified in Matlab / CarSim software. The simulation results show that the path planning method in this paper can effectively make the vehicle avoid obstacles safely and stably, and the planned path meets the dynamic requirements of the vehicle and driving stability. © 2021 IEEE.

The occurrence and impacts of emerging organic contaminants(EOCs)in the aquatic environment have gained widespread attention over the past two *** to large number of potential contaminants,monitoring campaigns,treatment plants,and proposed regulations should preferentially focus on specific pollutants with the highest potential for ecological and human health *** the present study,a multi-criteria screening approach based on hazard and exposure potentials was developed for prioritization of 405 unregulated EOCs already present in Chinese surface *** potential,exposure potential,and risk quotients for ecological and human health effects were quantitatively analyzed and used to screen *** hazard potential was defined by contaminant persistence,bioaccumulation,ecotoxicity,and human health effects;similarly,the exposure potential was a function of contaminant concentration and detection *** total,123 compounds passed the preselection process,which involved a priority index equal to the normalized hazard potential multiplied by the normalized exposure *** on the prioritization scheme,11 compounds were identified as top-priority,and 37 chemicals were defined as *** results obtained by the priority index were compared with four other prioritization schemes based on exposure potential,hazard potential,or risk quotients for ecological effects or human *** priority index effectively captured and integrated the results from the more simplistic prioritization *** on identified data gaps,four uncertainty categories were classified to recommend:①regular monitoring,derivation of environmental quality standards,and development of control strategies;②increased monitoring;③fortified hazard assessment;and④increased efforts to collect occurrence and toxicity ***,20 pollutants were recommended as priority *** prioritized list of contaminants provides the necessary information for autho
