A generalized non-affine nonlinear power system model is presented for a single machine bus power system with a Static Var Compensator(SVC)or state Var System(SVS)for hybrid Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs).The model is constructed by differential algebraic equations on the MATLAB-Simulink platform with the programming technique of its *** the inverse system method and the Linear Quadratic Regulation(LQR),an optimized SVC controller is *** simulations under three fault conditions show that the proposed controller can effectively improve the power system transient performance.

The source-receptor matrix of PM_(2.5)concentration from local and regional sources in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)and surrounding provinces has been created in previous ***,because the spatial distribution of concentration does not necessarily match with that of the population,such concentration-based source-receptor matrix may not fully reflect the importance of pollutant control effectiveness in reducing the PM_(2.5)-related health *** demonstrate that,we study the source-receptor matrix of the PM_(2.5)-related deaths instead,with inclusion of the spatial correlations between the concentrations and the *** advanced source apportionment numerical model combined with the integrated exposure-response functions is used for BTH and surrounding regions in *** observed that the relative contribution to PM_(2.5)-related deaths of local emissions was 0.75%to 20.77%larger than that of PM_(2.5)*** results address the importance of local emissions control for reducing health impacts of PM_(2.5)particularly for local *** of regional transport to PM_(2.5)-related deaths in rural area was 22%larger than that in urban area due to the spatial pattern of regional transport which was more related to the rural *** resulted in an environmental inequality in the sense that people staying in rural area with access to less educational resources are subjected to higher impacts from regional transport as compared with their more resourceful and knowledgeable urban *** unexpected benefit from the multi-regional joint controls is suggested for its effectiveness in reducing the regional transport of PM_(2.5)pollution thus mitigating the associated environmental inequality.

Aiming at the increasing burden of power system peaking caused by the integration of large-scale new energy generation into the grid and the imperfect participation mechanisms for peaking entities in the power market, this paper proposes an optimal dispatch method for multiple storage and thermal power units. Firstly, to reduce the impact of the volatility of new energy generation on system peaking, the planned market trading power of new energy is optimally allocated with the goal of minimizing the net load on the grid. Secondly, a multi-storage lease transaction mechanism and an energy storage lease declaration model based on the whole life cycle cost are designed, and the charging and discharging power of individual storage units is optimized with the objective of maximizing revenue from multi-storage leasing. Finally, typical daily data are selected and simulated in the improved IEEE 30-bus system. The results show that the proposed method reduces the curtailment rate of new energy and effectively improves the economic efficiency of peaking for power market entities. © 2024 IEEE.

In the past five decades,global plastic production has increased at an average yearly growth rate of 8.4%,which is significantly higher than that of other basic materials such as cement,steel,and aluminum[1,2].Moreover,the amount of global plastic waste more than doubled between 2000 and 2019,reaching an annual production of 353 million tons(Mt)[3].It was further estimated that plastic accounted for approximately 12%of municipal waste in 2016 globally[4].

Ambient ozone(O3)was first identified as a key harmful air pollutant in the study of photochemical smog during the 1950s in Los *** studies uncovered that surface O3 was not emitted directly,but formed from the reactions of nitrogen oxides(NO_(x))and volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in *** the relationship between O3 and its two main precursors,NOx and VOCs,is considered to be the cornerstone for enabling successful mitigation of *** the past,a central area for the study and practice of O3 pollution control was Los Angeles and the surrounding *** ambient O3 concentrations in the area were successfully and continuously reduced from 400 ppb(1 ppb=109 m^(3)/m^(3))to ca.120 ppb due to the joint mitigation of VOC and NOx emissions from 1960 to 2010[1].Nevertheless,O3 pollution still represents one of the most pervasive and stubborn environmental problems in megacities worldwide,with many populous centres regularly breaching WHO 8-hour Interim Targets-1 levels(160 lg/m^(3)),not to mention the updated air quality guideline value of 100 lg/m^(3).The difficulty of O3 pollution control is due to a number of factors,including its non-linear relationship with NOx[2],the difficulty of anthropogenic VOC control[3]and the contributions of biogenic VOCs.

With the increase of renewable energy, the system frequency modulation ability is insufficient, and the relevant departments require that renewable energy should have the active support ability of power system frequency change. Long-term active load shedding to achieve frequency support will cause power generation loss and economic damage;if the maximum output of the wind turbine is taken as the active support task by the energy storage, the amount of energy storage required is large. Therefore, this paper proposes a coordinated optimal allocation method of wind power load shedding rate and energy storage capacity with the goal of frequency active support. From the economic point of view, the optimal allocation relationship between wind power load shedding rate and energy storage capacity allocation is analyzed to find the optimal setting of load shedding rate and energy storage capacity. © 2024 IEEE.

Proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) is composed of several coupled components with complex nonlinear *** the work of each component and effectively controlling the air supply system are key measures to improve the efficiency of the *** order to control the air supply system of PEMFC,this paper explores the influence of different input parameters on the energy consumption efficiency of the system,quantifies the relationship between the variables,and studies the change law of power consumption efficiency and peroxide ratio of the *** that,separate feed-forward,feed-forward+feedback and LQR control algorithms are used to control the optimal peroxide ratio respectively,and the algorithms are verified by Matlab/Simulink *** results show that the LQR algorithm has the best dynamic response speed,which is shortened by 17.0% and 47.1% compared with the feed-forward+feedback control and separate feed-forward control *** the same time,the maximum control error of LQR algorithm is the smallest,which is 52.6% and 84.6% lower than that of feed-forward+feedback control and separate feed-forward control.

The advent of large-scale mobile monitoring using fast-response instruments has enabled hyperlocal mapping (≤100 m) of traffic-related air pollution (TRAP), with important implications for air quality management. However, most related studies have been confined within small areas due to the high cost and labor intensity. This study pioneers a cost-effective TRAP mapping method by incorporating large-scale mobile monitoring and land-use machine learning (LUML). Here, over 4.6 million 1 Hz high-frequency measurements (∼1300 h) were collected on a part of major roadways in the Chinese megacity of Shenzhen. Unmeasured locations were estimated by LUML models to reduce measurement costs and labor intensity. Various ML algorithms and varying spatial aggregation segment lengths were incorporated to optimize the model performance. Hyperlocal maps of NO, NO2, and PM2.5were predicted across the entire road network covering over 1700 km2. Based on our results, LU-RF (random forest) for mapping NO and NO2and LU-GBM (Gradient Boosting Machine) for mapping PM2.5, demonstrated superior performance. Deep learning models, in contrast, did not yield comparable results. Finer partitioning of road segments (≤100 m) improved NO prediction performance, but worsened that for NO2and PM2.5. By deployment of optimal ML algorithms and segment lengths, the TRAP mapping accuracy increased by 20–80% compared to conventional land-use regression models. This study provides a promising and cost-effective approach to hyperlocal air pollution mapping and management in cities worldwide.

Based on the investigation of the production and sales of complete vehicles equipped with driving assistance system (ADAS) in 2020, as well as the current situation analysis and prediction of the market penetration of the main functions of ADAS, this paper puts forward that 2022-2025 will be the window period for the rapid development of auxiliary driving vehicles. Through the investigation of the development of main safety technologies of ADAS and the overview of the current situation of auxiliary driving functions, this paper analyzes the reasons for the supply interruption of vehicle specification chip supply chain and the current situation of production capacity in recent one year, and puts forward that vehicle and parts enterprises, including government departments, should rethink the industrial chain layout of automobile chips in the next five years, so as to promote the commercialization of domestic auxiliary driving vehicles (equipped with ADAS) as soon as possible. © 2022 IEEE.

Accurate prediction of the adhesion coefficient parameters of the road ahead is critical to the driving safety of intelligent driving vehicles, however, the current stage of raw image-based methods are difficult to achieve high-precision and reliable prediction due to the complexity of the elements within the scene. To this end, a road adhesion coefficient recognition algorithm inspired by semantic segmentation is proposed. The method designs a sequential prediction algorithm structure that includes semantic segmentation, road surface extraction, road surface recognition, and adhesion coefficient mapping. Additionally, the method introduces the spatial attention mechanism and channel attention mechanism separately into the semantic segmentation network and road surface classification network, effectively enhancing the accuracy and real-time performance of the adhesion coefficient prediction algorithm. Experimental results illustrate that this real-time adhesion coefficient prediction algorithm achieves good performance in maintaining accuracy, real-time capability, and robustness. It can accurately and rapidly predict road surface adhesion information in driving scenarios.
