Photovoltaic power generation is an important component of sustainable power generation and has been widely utilized. Grid connected inverters are key equipment in photovoltaic integrated systems, which directly affect the stability of the system. In this paper, the transient model of photovoltaic inverter controller based on active support technology is derived. The transient mathematical model and corresponding self-closing loop control strategy are analyzed. Based on the RTDS, a hardware controller semi-physical simulation platform is established to simulate and test photovoltaic inverters under different fault and control methods. Finally, the simulation data obtained from the self-closing loop control method and the hardware control method are compared to verify the stability and reliability of the photovoltaic inverter hardware controller. © 2024 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Air pollutant emissions induced by rural-to-urban migration during China's urbanization(2005-2015)

As the world's most populous country,China has witnessed rapid urbanization in recent decades,with population migration from rural to urban(RU)regions as the major driving *** to the large gap between rural and urban consumption and investment level,large-scale RU migration impacts air pollutant emissions and creates extra uncertainties for air quality ***,we integrated population migration assessment,an environmentally extended inputeoutput model and structural decomposition analysis to evaluate the NOx,SO2 and primary PM2.5 emissions induced by RU migration during China's urbanization from 2005 to *** results show that RU migration increased air pollutant emissions,while the increases in NOx and SO2 emissions peaked in approximately 2010 at 2.4 Mt and 2.2 Mt,accounting for 9.2%and 8.7%of the national emissions,*** primary PM2.5 emissions induced by RU migration also peaked in approximately 2012 at 0.3 Mt,accounting for 2.8%of the national *** indirect emissions embodied in consumption and investment increased,while household direct emissions *** widening gap between urban and rural investment and consumption exerted a major increasing effect on migration-induced emissions;in contrast,the falling emission intensity contributed the most to the decreasing effect benefitting from end-of-pipe control technology applications as well as improving energy *** peak of air pollutant emissions induced by RU migration indicates that although urbanization currently creates extra environmental pressure in China,it is possible to reconcile urbanization and air quality improvement in the future with updating urbanization and air pollution control policies.

The attributable burden is codetermined by the exposure level and nontarget ***,the conventional method of health impact assessment based on preestablished exposure−response functions includes only a few well-known characteristics and thus is insufficient to capture the comprehensive *** aimed to develop a method to fuse health impact assessment with epidemiological analysis and to identify factors driving baseline *** method was applied to identify the factors underlying the change in the number of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5))related deaths in China between 2000 and *** the study period,the number of PM_(2.5)-related deaths across China's Mainland increased by 0.62(95%CI:0.57,0.69)million,with 0.65(95%CI:0.47,0.91)million,0.55(95%CI:0.39,0.79)million,and 0.11(95%CI:0.06,0.18)million deaths being associated with increased PM_(2.5)exposure,population aging,and growth in population size,***,economic growth,urbanization,improvement of welfare services,and improvement of hospital services resulted in 0.25(95%CI:0.15,0.40)million,0.16(95%CI:0.10,0.27)million,0.16(95%CI:0.09,0.26)million,and 0.09(95%CI:0.05,0.15)million fewer deaths,*** indicated that increased exposure was the major driver of the change in the number of PM_(2.5)-related deaths,and economic growth was the main driver of increased resilience to air pollution.

In order to solve the vertical parking problem in narrow environments,this paper establishes a multi-maneuver vertical parking trajectory planning and tracking control method based on predefined geometry ***,the minimum longitudinal distance required for the parking process is used as the performance index,and the optimization problem is established by combining the obstacle avoidance constraints of the parking *** multi-maneuver vertical parking path can be obtained by solving the optimization problem;Secondly,the speed planning is carried out by the double-S speed planner to realize the vehicle can start and stop smoothly when tracking each section of the path;Again,in establishing the MPC lateral motion controller based on the vehicle-road deviation prediction model,the compensation algorithm of vehicle steering system lag is considered,and the vehicle speed tracking controller is designed based on PID control;Finally,the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed parking planning control method is verified by combining with the real vehicle verification *** results show that,during multi-maneuver to adjust the vehicle attitude into the parking space in a narrow environment,the proposed method can control the lateral error within 0.05 m and the heading deviation within 0.02 rad under the action of the designed lateral-longitudinal controller.

Variation characteristics of fine particulate matter and its components in diesel vehicle emission plumes

A rapid reaction occurs near the exhaust nozzle when vehicle emissions contact the *** diesel vehicles were studied using a new multipoint sampling system that is suitable for studying the exhaust plume near the exhaust *** variation characteristics of fine particle matter(PM_(2.5)) and its components in diesel vehicle exhaust plumes were *** PM_(2.5) emissions gradually increased with increasing distance from the nozzle in the *** carbon emissions remained basically unchanged, organic carbon and total carbon(TC) increased with increasing *** concentrations of SO_(4)^(2-),NO_(3)^(-) and NH_(4)^(+) (SNA) directly emitted by the vehicles were very low but increased rapidly in the exhaust *** selective catalytic reduction(SCR) reduced 42.7% TC, 40% NO_(3)^(-) emissions, but increased 104% SO_(4)^(2-) and 36% NH_(4)^(+) emissions, *** summary,the SCR reduced 29% primary PM_(2.5) emissions for the tested diesel *** NH_(4)NO_(3) particle formation maybe more important in the plume, and there maybe other forms of formation of NH_(4)^(+) (***4Cl).The generation of secondary organic carbon(SOC) plays a leading role in the generation of secondary PM_(2.5).The SCR enhanced the formation of SOC and SNA in the plume, but comprehensive analysis shows that the SCR more enhanced the SNA formation in the plume, which is mainly new particles formation *** inconsistency between secondary organic aerosol(SOA) and primary organic aerosol definitions is one of the important reasons for the difference between SOA simulation and observation.

Review on heterogeneous oxidation and adsorption for arsenic removal from drinking water

The long term exposure of arsenic via drinking water has resulted in wide occurrence of arsenisim globally, and the oxidation of the non-ionic arsenite(As(Ⅲ)) to negatively-charged arsenate(As(Ⅴ)) is of crucial importance for the promising removal of arsenic. The chemical oxidants of ozone, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, and potassium permanganate may achieve this goal;however, their application in developing countries is sometimes restricted by the complicate operation and high cost. This review paper focuses on the heterogeneous oxidation of As(Ⅲ) by solid oxidants such as manganese oxide, and the adsorption of As(Ⅴ)accordingly. Manganese oxide may be prepared by both chemical and biological methods to achieve good oxidation performance towards As(Ⅲ). Additionally, manganese oxide may be combined with other metal oxides, e.g., iron oxide, to improve the adsorption capability towards As(Ⅴ). Furthermore, manganese oxide may be coated onto porous materials of metal organic frameworks to develop novel adsorbents for arsenic removal. To achieve the application in engineering works, the adsorbents granulation may be achieved by drying and calcination, agglomeration, and the active components may also be in situ coated onto the porous materials to maintain the oxidation and adsorption activities as much as possible. The novel adsorbents with heterogeneous oxidation and adsorption capability may be carefully designed for the removal of arsenic in household purifiers, community-level decentralized small systems, and the large-scale drinking water treatment plants(DWTPs).This review provides insight into the fundamental studies on novel adsorbents, the development of innovative technologies, and the demonstration engineering works involved in the heterogeneous oxidation and adsorption, and may be practically valuable for the arsenic pollution control globally.

Understanding and modeling driver behavior is crucial to the design, testing and evaluation of intelligent driving systems. In this study, a personalized car-following model with considering human's limited perception ability and risk assessment characteristics is proposed to enhance the accuracy and the scope of application of driver model. This paper presents a modular personalized driver following model framework to describe car-following behavior. In the perception module, human's limited perception ability and risk assessment characteristic are modeled based on normal distribution and fuzzy logic. In the decision module, we proposed a personalized spacing strategy and a speed-distance index car-following model. The simulation result indicated that the accuracy of the proposed model can meet the requirements. In addition, since the parameters of the model can be flexibly adjusted and have clear physical significance, the proposed model can describe personalized car-following behavior. © 2022 IEEE.

Extruded monolith MnO_(x)-CeO_(2)-TiO_(2) catalyst for NH_(3)-SCR of low temperature flue gas from an industry boiler:Deactivation and recovery

The selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NO_(x) with NH_(3)(NH_(3)-SCR) technology has been widely applied for reducing NO_(x) emissions from stationary and mobile *** this work,the extruded monolith MnO_(x)-CeO_(2)-TiO_(2) catalyst was installed in a cement kiln for NH_(3)-SCR of NO_(x),where the flue gas temperature was 110-140℃.It is found that the monolith catalyst is severely deactivated after operating for about 200 h with almost no NO_(x) conversion at 160℃ under GHSV of 50000 h^(-1),while the fresh monolith catalyst remains 60% NO_(x) *** electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM-EDS),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),temperature-programmed desorption of SO_(2)(SO_(2)-TPD) and thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis(TG-DTG) experiments reveal that both MnO_(x) and CeO_(2) oxides in monolith are severely sulfated to manganese sulfate and cerium sulfate,and the external monolith walls are covered by massive ceria sulfate and little ammonium *** situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier trans form spectroscopy(DRIFTS) analysis demonstrates that the formation of nitrates at low temperatures is inhibited due to the occupation of active sites in MnO_(x)-CeO_(2)-TiO_(2) by sulfates,resulting in the decrease of low temperature *** washing with water,the activity of deactivated monolith catalyst can be partially recovered,together with significant loss of manganese and cerium from monolith.

This study proposes a SMC-based longitudinal cruise controller of truck platoon. Firstly, the platoon model with the constant time headway spacing is characterized and the platoon control objectives including rear-end collision avoidance and string stability are formulated. Then, under the bidirectional-following topology, the distributed sliding mode controller is designed and the saturation function-based reaching law is introduced to reduce chattering. Furthermore, the convergence of the headway of platoon members and the string stability of platoon are demonstrated by a Lyapunov function of sliding surface and a transfer function of spacing error, respectively. Finally, the simulation of platoon including 5 trucks is conducted, considering both accelerating and cruising scenarios of the leader truck. The results show the quick convergence of spacing errors, with string stability and collision avoidance guaranteed, and validate the effectiveness of the SMC-based controller. © 2022 IEEE.
