Torsional Adaptive control of Motor Drive Process in Planetary Multi Speed Hybrid Power System

This paper proposes a hybrid adaptive torsional vibration control algorithm, aiming to improve the torsional vibration of planetary multi speed hybrid power systems. Firstly, a torque reconstruction and feedback control algorithm as the basic method for torsional vibration adaptive control is developed based on the theory of non-identical phase superposition. Secondly, based on methods such as offline optimization using particle swarm optimization algorithm, torque location identification, and weighted parameter calculation, a multi condition control parameter adaptive adjustment method is proposed. Then, an adaptive compensation algorithm for interference is designed based on the physical realization of the nominal inverse model and the Butterworth filter. The simulation and hardware in the loop test results show that the proposed hybrid adaptive torsional vibration control algorithm can significantly reduce the maximum amplitude of longitudinal acceleration and motor wheel equivalent speed difference, with improvement rates of 96.9% and 54.9%. © 2023, The Authors. In order to improve the comfort of the air conditioning system in the driver's cabin of a high-velocity train and advance the distribution of air supply, a 3D simulation software is used to establish the model of the air supply pipeline of the driver's cabin. The air flow field and the rationality of the air distribution are analysed accordingly. The results indicate that the structure of the air supply pipe is optimized and the air flow rate in the left and right air chambers is solved and air flow rate in each outlet of the air supply pipe are achieved. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Designing a controller to ensure vehicle stability under snow and ice-rutted road conditions, in the absence of accurate model knowledge and with potential sampling data delay, poses a significant challenge. To address this, this paper presents a novel data-driven parametric approach that integrates linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) methods. This approach allows for the determination of an appropriate sampling time interval. By iteratively solving LMIs, a state-feedback controller is derived, which guarantees both system stability and robustness. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated through numerical simulations conducted on the MATLAB/CarSim platform. The results highlight the good control performance and robustness achieved by the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) provides an efficient and clean pathway to generate electricity. In addition to hydrogen, SOFCs also hold the possibility for the utilization of a variety of carbon containing fuels. A practical kilowatt-class SOFC system fueled by methane has been preliminarily integrated previously. This study intended to obtain the optimized working conditions for the prereformer, with which the SOFC module can exhibit higher electrical performance. Detailed thermodynamic analysis and experimental measurements of steam methane reforming (SMR) were carried out under different steam to carbon ratios (S/C) and temperatures, where the experimental results matched well with the thermodynamic calculation. Based on the optimized working condition of SMR, the electrical performance and stability of a planar single-layer stack (10×10 cm2) fueled by the reformate syngas was evaluated. The maximum electrical efficiency reached 65.39% (LHV) at 750 C, and 50-hour stable operation under 50% (LHV) electrical efficiency was achieved. © 2021 Electrochemical Society Inc.. With the development of autonomous driving technology, there is a trend toward automation in special vehicles including garbage trucks. Due to its specialized use, how to identify and classify trash bins in time can become the key problem of automated garbage trucks. In this research, we proposed a trash bin perception method for garbage trucks, which integrates a trash bin identification method based on conventional neural network (CNN) and a trash bin classification method based on color recognition. According to the relative position of target trash bin, the autonomous driving system can stop the garbage truck at the right position and grasp the target trash bin in time. Test shows that the method designed in this research can recognition the target trash bin rapidly, and realize the automatic operation cooperated with the autonomous driving system. © VDE VERLAG GMBH.

With the rapid development of autonomous driving, much attention has been paid to the development of collision avoidance systems in emergency scenarios that have a critical impact on driving safety. In this paper, a multi-constraint collision avoidance path planning method that considers the drivable area of a vehicle is proposed to meet the safety and real-time requirements of collision avoidance for autonomous vehicles. The algorithm defines the collision hazard moment, calculates the relationship between the collision hazard moment and the vehicle position constraint, makes corrections to the drivable area in the vehicle collision avoidance process, and finally obtains the vehicle emergency collision avoidance path by solving an optimization problem that satisfies the vehicle dynamics constraints and the position constraints. In this paper, the Matlab/Carsim/Prescan simulation sets up a high-speed driving condition in front of which there is an obstacle in the same direction of motion to prove that the multi-constraint optimized path planning algorithm considering the vehicle's travelable area can obtain a smooth and collision-free path, and the steering wheel changes smoothly in the tracking control, and the tracking control accuracy is below 0.07m. The experimental results show that the planning algorithm achieves the accurate lane change process The experimental results show that the planning algorithm achieves precise constraints on the lane change process, meets the requirements of the collision avoidance process on the computational efficiency, and takes into account the comfort of the driver.

Performance evolution of typical Ni-YSZ anode-supported SOFCs during the initial-stage operation ( 20 h), regardless of the operating current. In the activation stage, the cell performance maintains stable or slightly increases due to the enhanced anode gas-phase diffusion. While in the subsequent aging stage, the cell performance decreases significantly and gradually approaches a plateau in about 100 hours, mainly due to the weakened anode charge transfer reaction and ionic transport processes. Therefore, it is suggested that more efforts should be focused on improving the stability of anode microstructure, especially the stability of anode functional layer. © 2021 Electrochemical Society Inc.. The transformation of mercury(Hg) in the environment plays a vital role in the cycling of Hg and its risk to the ecosystem and human health. Of particular importance are Hg oxidation/reduction and methylation/demethylation processes driven or mediated by the dynamics of light, microorganisms, and organic carbon, among others. Advances in understanding those Hg transformation processes determine our capacity of projecting and mitigating Hg risk. Here, we provide a critical analysis of major knowledge gaps in our understanding of Hg transformation in nature, with perspectives on approaches moving forward. Our analysis focuses on Hg transformation processes in the environment, as well as emerging methodology in exploring these processes. Future avenues for improving the understanding of Hg transformation processes to protect ecosystem and human health are also explored.

At present, the power grid is carrying out the practical work of smart substation On-line monitoring and control function module of relay protection. Compared with traditional substations, the new-generation assurance system has been greatly improved in 7 functional modules, including fault archiving, special maintenance information patrol, fixed value checking, configuration checking, substation testing, intelligent alarm, and master station modeling. It can fully adapt to the functional requirements of smart substations and traditional substations. This paper analyzes the monitoring and analysis requirements of the assurance system based on the equipment configuration of the station control layer of the new generation of intelligent substations, and proposes a complete design scheme of seven functional modules from three aspects: functional requirements, implementation logic, and performance design. The practical application results in the power grid simulation laboratory show that the On-line monitoring and control function module of relay protection based on the guarantee system can be compatible with the traditional 103 substations and 61850 substations and achieve the expected goals and performance requirements.
