Due to the slow dynamic power-regulation characteristics of the electrolyser(EL),a novel integrated three-port DC/DC converter topology based on a phase-shifted full-bridge converter and dual active-bridge converter is proposed in this ***,the proposed converter can achieve a fast auxiliary response to the *** topology has the features of single-stage conversion,high system integration and compatibility with multiple operation *** operational principles and a hybrid modulation scheme of the proposed converter are analysed in *** addition,the power-transmission characteristics of each port and the soft-switching range are *** these bases,six operation modes suitable for a hydrogen energy-storage system are *** simulation and a 2-kW scaled-down experimental prototype are established to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed topology in different operation modes.

Demulsification with simultaneous water purification by coupling filtration and enhanced oil droplet coalescence at anode interface in an electrochemical reactor

With the increasing demand of recycling disposal of industrial wastewater,oil-in-water(O/W)emulsion has been paid much attention in recent years owing to its high oil ***,due to the presence of surfactant and salt,the emulsion was usually stable with complex physicochemical interfacial properties leading to increased processing ***,a novel flow-through electrode-based demulsification reactor(FEDR)was well designed for the treatment of saline O/W *** contrast to 53.7%for electrical demul-sification only and 80.3%for filtration only,the COD removal efficiency increased to 92.8%under FEDR ***,the pore size of electrode and the applied voltage were two key factors that governed the FEDR demulsification *** observing the mor-phology of oil droplets deposited layer after different operation conditions and the behavior of oil droplets at the electrode surface under different voltage conditions,the mechanism was proposed that the oil droplets first accumulated on the surface of flow-through elec-trode by sieving effect,subsequently the gathered oil droplets could further coalesce with the promoting effect of the anode,leading to a high-performing *** study offers an attractive option of using flow-through electrode to accomplish the oil recovery with simultaneous water purification.

A novel hybrid adaptive event-triggered platoon control strategy is proposed to achieve the balanced coordination between communication resource utilization and vehicle-following performance considering the effect of package *** deal with the disturbance caused by the event-triggered scheme,the parameter space approach is adopted to derive the feasible region from which cooperative adaptive cruise control controller satisfies internal stability,distance accuracy,and string ***,the Bernoulli random distribution process is employed to depict the phenomenon of package drop-out,and the hybrid coefficient is proposed to realize the allocation between the adaptive trigger threshold strategy and the adaptive headway *** simulation of a six-vehicle platoon is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the designed control *** show that about 78.76%of communication resources have been saved by applying the event-triggered scheme,while guaranteeing the desired vehicle-following *** in the non-ideal communication environment with frequent package dropouts,the hybrid adaptive strategy achieves the coordination among communication resource utilization,string stability margin,distance accuracy,and traffic efficiency.

Operational Reliability Modeling and Assessment of Battery Energy Storage Based on Lithium-ion Battery Lifetime Degradation

Battery energy storage(BES)systems can effectively meet the diversified needs of power system dispatching and assist in renewable energy *** reliability of energy storage is essential to ensure the operational safety of the power ***,BES systems are composed of battery *** suggests that BES performance depends not only on the configuration but also on the operating state over different lifetime *** lack of safety and reliability is the main bottleneck preventing widespread applications of BES ***,a reliability assessment algorithm and a weak-link analytical method for BES systems are proposed while considering battery lifetime ***,a novel lithium-ion battery model is proposed to identify the degradation rate of solid electrolyte interphase film formation and capacity *** impacts of different operating conditions are considered in stress factor ***,a reliability assessment algorithm for a BES system is introduced based on a universal generating *** innovative weak-link analytical method based on the reliability importance index is proposed that combines the evaluation results of state-oriented and state-change-oriented indexes through an entropy weight *** model,algorithm,indexes,and the usefulness are demonstrated in case studies based on aging test data and actual bus operating *** results demonstrate the effects of the battery status and working conditions on BES ***-link analysis is also used to assist BES systems in avoiding short-board batteries to achieve long lifetimes and efficient operation.

Film uniformity of solution-processed layers is the cornerstone of large-area perovskite light-emitting diodes,which is often determined by the‘coffee-ring effect’.Here we demonstrate a second factor that cannot be ignored is the solid-liquid interface interaction between substrate and precursor and can be optimized to eliminate rings.A perovskite film with rings can be formed when cations dominate the solid-liquid interface interaction;whereas smooth and homogeneous perovskite emitting layers are generated when anions and anion groups dominate the *** is due to the fact that the type of ions anchored to the substrate can determine how the subsequent film *** interfacial interaction is adjusted using carbonized polymer dots,who also orient the perovskite crystals and passivate their buried traps,enabling a 225 mm^(2) large-area perovskite light-emitting diode with a high efficiency of 20.2%.

state of health (SOH) estimation is essential to ensure safety and reliability in the operation of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCs). The aging of fuel cells results from the deterioration of multiple internal components, and the aging degree of some key components even directly determines the end of cell life. Due to the complexity of the internal reactions in fuel cell, many internal parameters cannot be measured or recorded during aging tests. In addition, external characteristics do not reflect the internal changes in the cell. Therefore, establishing a multi-scale metric based on fuel cell components is very important for fuel cell life research. During the aging process of a fuel cell, the contributions of different components to the overall aging vary significantly. Additionally, the allocation of indicator parameters presents a challenge in multi-scale modeling. To address these issues, this paper proposes a method to construct multi-scale indicators for fuel cells. Firstly, based on the operational mechanisms of fuel cells, a 3-D Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model of the fuel cell is developed using COMSOL Multiphysics 6.2 to simulate the working environment of the fuel cell. In addition, based on existing research, the aging mechanisms of various fuel cell components are analyzed, and aging models are established. The aging of selected components is then simulated in MATLAB R2023a based on the component aging mechanism model. Moreover, a co-simulation platform based on COMSOL and MATLAB is established to facilitate parameter interaction and iteration between the two models, thereby obtaining the aging data of the cell. Finally, the data is analyzed to select parameters and allocate coefficients for the multi-scale aging indicators. The multi-scale aging indicator can provide an effective approach to characterizing the aging state of fuel cells. © 2025 SAE International.

A novel rotor dynamic balancing method based on blade tip clearance measurement without the once per revolution sensor

The existence of the aeroengine casing,limited monitoring points,and multi-fault characteristics make obtaining the rotor’s vibration transmission characteristics challenging,resulting in difficulties accurately identifying the rotor *** paper utilizes a high-frequency composite sensor to monitor the engine’s blade tip clearance(BTC)and extracts unbalanced information from BTC signals for rotor dynamic balancing,while avoiding the need for the once per revolution(OPR)***,the vibration characteristics of the rotor-blade system under multi-fault conditions are ***,based on BTC measurement,a none OPR method and an unbalance identification method are proposed,in which the radial vibration of the blade tip in the BTC signals at different speeds is extracted and operated in the time domain to obtain the rotor unbalanced vibration,the signal is reconstructed,and cross-correlation analysis is used to accurately identify the magnitude and phase of the unbalanced ***,a rotor test bench is utilized for experimental *** results reveal that the dynamic balancing method based on the BTC signal can more precisely identify the rotor unbalance than the traditional rotor dynamic balancing *** application of this technique will effectively improve engine health management and fault prediction.

Product trade plays an increasing role in relocating production and the associated air pollution impact among sectors and *** a comprehensive depiction of atmospheric pollution redistribution through trade chains is missing,which may hinder targeted clean air cooperation among sectors and ***,we combined five state-of-the-art models from physics,economy,and epidemiology to track the anthropogenic fine particle matters(PM_(2.5))related premature mortality along the supply chains within China in *** results highlight the key sectors that affect PM_(2.5)-related mortality from both production and consumption *** consumption-based effects from food,light industry,equipment,construction,and services sectors,caused 2e22 times higher deaths than those from a production perspective and totally contributed 63%of the national *** a cross-boundary perspective,25.7%of China's PM_(2.5)-related deaths were caused by interprovincial trade,with the largest transfer occurring from the central and northern regions to well-developed east coast *** investment dominated the cross-boundary effect(56%of the total)by involving substantial equipment and construction products,which greatly rely on product exports from regions with specific *** supply chain-based analysis provides a comprehensive quantification and may inform more effective joint-control efforts among associated regions and sectors from a health risk perspective.
