The conventional pumping unit lacks the ability to continuously adjust input power during pumping operations, and exhibits poor adaptability when integrating new energy sources into the grid. In this study, we propose a novel 'domain operation' strategy that allocates resources based on real-time reservoir conditions across all levels of hydropower stations, while optimizing operations through the implementation of doubly fed units. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to meet stricter emission regulations and further improve engine performance,it is also essential to work on improving the diesel engine management system using machine learning regression algorithms.A series of engine calibration experiments were conducted in detail on the diesel engine,including various engine operations such as injection pressure,injection timing,pre-injection ratio,pre-injection timing,load,EGR rate,and regulation of fuel physicochemical *** recording the required experimental data,a multi-objective regression model was constructed by applying two different methods:BP-ANN and SVM,which provided a unique insight into the mathematical relationship between engine performance and operational and control *** the case of ANN,the effects of the number of hidden layer nodes and the number of iterations on the regression performance are discussed,and the weights of BP-ANN are *** network search was utilized for SVM to optimize the penalty factor and width *** results show that the SVM best fits the two *** best R optimal test values for BSFC,BTE,HC,CO,NO,the number of PM concentrations,and the total mass concentration of PM are 0.9146,0.9215,0.9413,0.9463,0.9535,0.9705 and0.9271,*** is strongly recommended that the SVM method should be used as a generalized method,which might be a new direction in modeling nonlinear control systems for diesel engines.

As to solve the collaborative relative navigation problem for near-circular orbiting small satellites in close-range under GNSS denied environment,a novel consensus constrained relative navigation algorithm based on the lever arm effect of the sensor offset from the spacecraft center of mass is ***,the orbital propagation model for the relative motion of multi-spacecraft is established based on Hill-Clohessy-Wiltshire dynamics and the line-of-sight measurement under sensor offset condition is modeled in Local Vertical Local Horizontal ***,the consensus constraint model for the relative orbit state is constructed by introducing the geometry constraint between the spacecraft,based on which the consensus unscented Kalman filter is ***,the observability analysis is done and the necessary conditions of the sensor offset to make the state observable are ***,digital simulations are conducted to verify the proposed algorithm,where the comparison to the unconstrained case is also *** results show that the estimated error of the relative position converges very quickly,the location error is smaller than 10m under the condition of 10−3 rad level camera and 5m offset.

Simultaneous refinement of α-Mg grains and β-Mg_(17)Al_(12) in Mg-Al based alloys via heterogeneous nucleation on Al_(8)Mn_(4)Sm

Due to the significant differences in the formation temperature and crystal structure between the primaryα-Mg and eutecticβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12),it is a great challenge to achieve simultaneous refinement of the primary and eutectic phases in Mg-Al based alloys via heterogeneous ***,we found that theα-Mg andβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12) in the AZ80 alloy can be simultaneously refined after 0.2 wt.%Sm addition,with the grain size decreasing from∼217±15μm to∼170±10μm and theβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12) morphology changing from a typical continuous network to a nod-like or spherical *** simultaneous refinement mechanism is investigated through solidification simulation,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and differential thermal analysis(DTA).In the AZ80-0.2Sm alloy,many Al8Mn4Sm particles can be observed near the center of theα-Mg grains or inside theβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12).Crystallographic calculations further reveal that the Al8Mn4Sm has good crystallographic matching with both theα-Mg andβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12),so it possesses the potency to serve as heterogeneous nucleation sites for both *** promoted heterogeneous nucleation on the Al8Mn4Sm decreases the undercooling required by the nucleation of the primary and eutectic phases,which enhances the heterogeneous nucleation rate,thus causing the simultaneous refinement of theα-Mg andβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12).The orientation relationships between the Al8Mn4Sm and Mg/Mg_(17)Al_(12) are identified,which are[1210]_(Mg)//[010]_(Al8Mn4Sm),(1010)_(Mg)//(301)_(Al8Mn4Sm) and[112]_(Mg_(17)Al_(12))//[010]_(Al8Mn4Sm),(110)_(Mg_(17)Al_(12))//(301)_(Al8Mn4Sm),***,the refinement of theβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12) accelerates its dissolution during the solution treatment,which is beneficial for cost saving in industrial *** Al8Mn4RE compounds such as Al8Mn4Y might have the same positive effect on the simultaneous refinement due to the similar physicochemical properties of rare earth *** work not only proves the po

Event-Based Dissipative Path Following control for Autonomous Ground Vehicles With External Disturbances and Actuator Faults

In this paper, a novel event-based dissipative fuzzy control method is proposed for path following systems of autonomous ground vehicles subject to external disturbances and actuator faults. As the varying longitudinal velocity causes highly nonlinearities in the path following systems, a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy vehicle dynamics model is established for controller design. Moreover, the time delay, multiple actuator faults and external disturbances are fully considered in the modeling of vehicle dynamic systems. For the improvement of path following performance, a dissipative performance index is employed in the controller design to strengthen the reliability of the control method. To achieve a better economization of the limited resource, an enhanced adaptive event-triggered mechanism is introduced into the controller design. Based on an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional candidate, a less conservative theorem is obtained by employing some extended integral inequalities. The theorem guarantees that the resulted fuzzy path following control system meets the strict dissipative performance on the premise of asymptotic stability. Finally, experimental results validate the superiority of the proposed method. IEEE

This paper presents a path tracking control method for autonomous vehicles by utilizing Adaptive Dynamic Programming (ADP). The primary goal is to enhance the path tracking performance under various longitudinal speeds. The proposed approach incorporates the consideration of nonlinear tire characteristics and establishes a nonlinear vehicle system model based on the fundamental principles of vehicle dynamics. By formulating a performance index function that captures the correlation between the vehicle's position and desired paths, the optimal control strategy is obtained using the Dual Heuristic Programming algorithm (DHP), known for its computational efficiency, within the ADP framework. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed path tracking control scheme, which can have better control performance under different vehicle speeds. © 2023 IEEE.

When the large-scale photovoltaic power station adopts the method of DC step-up collection access system, the fault of DC transmission line needs to be identified quickly and accurately. By analyzing the fault characteristics of inter-pole short circuit of photovoltaic DC transmission line, a fault diagnosis method based on current polarity zero-crossing characteristics of fault current polarity is proposed. This method combines the zero-crossing times of fault current and its slope characteristics to construct a diagnosis method. The least square method is used to describe the slope characteristics of the fault current, and the number of zero-crossings is added to construct the criterion, so as to avoid the misjudgment caused by the single instantaneous current change rate and the damage to the DC system caused by the long discrimination time when the inter-pole short-circuit fault occurs. The simulation model of 1 MW / ±30 kV photovoltaic DC step-up access system is built by PSIM simulation software. The simulation results show that the method can quickly and accurately diagnose the fault section. © 2024 IEEE.
