The rapid urbanization of China has increased pressure on its environmental and ecological well being. In this study, the temporal and spatial profiles of China's carbon dioxide emissions are analyzed by taking heterogeneities into account based on an integration of the extended stochastic impacts using a geographically and temporally weighted regression model on population, affluence, and technology. Population size, urbanization rate, GDP per capita, energy intensity, industrial structure, energy consumption pattern, energy prices, and economy openness are identified as the key driving factors of regional carbon dioxide emissions and examined through the empirical data for 30 provinces during 2006-2010. The results show the driving factors and their spillover effects have distinct spatial and temporal heterogeneities. Most of the estimated time and space coefficients are consistent with expectation. According to the results of this study, the heterogeneous spatial and temporal effects should be taken into account when designing policies to achieve the goals of carbon dioxide emissions reduction in different regions.

In this paper,the structures and transfer characteristics of turbulence,the structure and evolution of the wind profile in the atmospheric boundary layer,and their relationship with the aerosol concentration during the different periods in the development of heavy haze pollution were analyzed using turbulence data for the period from December 6,2016,to January 9,2017,collected at Peking University's Atmospheric Science and Environment Observation *** results showed a negative correlation between the wind speed and the PM2.5 and PM1 *** the pollution level was low,the turbulence kinetic energy(TKE) was rather large and presented obvious diurnal *** TKE was low under heavy haze pollution *** both clear and heavy haze conditions,relation between non-dimensional wind speed components and the stability parameter z/L follows "1/3 power law",but the wind speed normalized standard deviations were smaller during heavy pollution periods than during clear periods under near-neutral *** unstable condition,the normalized standard deviation of the potential temperature σθ/|θ*| was related to z/L approximately following the "-1/3 power law",and the ratio during days with pollution was greater than the ratio during clear *** turbulence energy spectra of the wind speed in three directions satisfies the-2/3 power exponent rate in the high frequency *** the low frequency band,the wind velocity spectrum curve was distributed along with the stability parameters under clear conditions and was not related to the atmospheric stratification under polluted *** the dissipation stage of heavy pollution,the horizontal wind speedstarted increasing at high altitude and then passed gradually to lower *** strong upward motion during this stage was an important dynamic factor in the dissipation of the heavy haze pollution.

This paper evaluated the applicability of using SWAT to access agricultural non-point source pollution in Xichuan area. In order to build the model, DEM, soil sort and land use map, climate monitoring data were collected as basic database. The SWAT model was calibrated and validated for the SWAT was carried out using streamflow, suspended solids, total phosphorus and total nitrogen records from 2009 to 2011. Errors, coefficient of determination and Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient were considered to evaluate the applicability. The coefficient of determination were 0.96, 0.66, 0.55 and 0.66 for streamflow, SS, TN, and TP, respectively. Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient were 0.93, 0.5, 0.52 and 0.63, respectively. The results all meet the requirements. It suggested that the SWAT model can simulate the study area.

Considering the effect of LNG supplying risk on the combined gas and electricity system's operation under the multi-gas-source supply background, the optimization planning model of the combined system's LNG reserve is developed in this paper. The optimization objective of this model is minimizing the annual cost of combined system, considering operation simulation of several typical scenarios along 52 weeks in a whole year and the annualized investment of LNG tanks. The operation objective of each scenario is determined by LNG's arrival and the operation mode of LNG terminals. A test system of IEEE-39 test system and Belgian 20-node system is formulated. The optimal LNG reserve of the test system is solved, and the effect of load level and operation mode on the reserve planning is also analyzed.
