The most existing short-term nodal load forecasting methods only focused on the application of separate historical data, ignoring the abundant redundant information in power system. In this paper a new nodal load forecasting method considered physical redundancy and measurement redundancy was proposed. Firstly, the effect of redundant information on short-term nodal load forecasting was analysed and the forecasting principle was given. Secondly, in order to form additional state variable measurement equations, two kinds of existing redundant information between state variable and measured values were analysed deeply. Then based on the forecasting principle and the analysis results, the forecasting model mainly imitated the form of state estimation was established and the specific forecasting process was given. Case studies demonstrated that compared with traditional support vector machine model, the proposed method could effectively decrease forecasting errors and improve forecasting results.

A combined nitritation–anammox reactor was developed to treat the digestion supernatant under various C/N ratios. Due to the difficulties for heterotroph to utilize the refractory organics, the reactor presented relatively stable performance with increasing supernatant addition. Nevertheless, the adverse effects of supernatant would accumulate during the long-term operation and thus weakened the activity and shock resistance of microbes,which further led to the gradual decrease of reactor performance after 92 days' *** this circumstance, supernatant with volatile fatty acids(VFAs) residuals was further introduced into the reactor to investigate the performance of combined nitritation–anammox process with VFA addition. With the appearance of VFAs, the nitrogen removal performance gradually restored and the reactor finally achieved stable and efficient performance with C/N ratio of 0.35. The VFA residuals within 150 mg/L in the supernatant served as the extra electron donors and stimulated the heterotrophic denitrification process, which was vital for the enhancement of reactor. The nitrogen removal rate and total nitrogen removal efficiency reached 0.49 kg N/(m^3·day) and 88.8% after 140 days' operation, respectively. The combined nitritation–anammox reactor was proved suitable to treat digestion supernatant.

Crawling conditions control for an Automatic Mechanical Transmissions (AMT) Vehicle is described in this paper, an AMT vehicle dynamic model and related controlsystemsimulation model based on Matlab / Simulink is built and the fuzzy controller is designed to realize the vehicle crawling control. The vehicle crawling speed can adapt to the driver's driving intent as well as the load changes. The simulation results show that the fuzzy control method which is applied to the crawling control on the AMT vehicles is rational and feasible.

With the increase of wind power capacity incorporated into the grid, the permeability of wind power increases continuously, which leads to the reduction of the equivalent inertia of the system. A new strategy of recovering rotor speed that increases the output power by modifying the variable power curve is proposed in this paper, which decreases the drop of the active power. So as to reduce the secondary frequency dips caused by the sudden drop of the active power when the speed restores. The paper optimizes the secondary frequency dips by modifying the variable power curve continuously. This article simulates this strategy through setting up a system by Simulink. Compared with the traditional recovery strategy, validity of the proposed strategy is demonstrated through simulation and analysis.

With the increase of wind power capacity incorporated into the grid, the permeability of wind power increases continuously, which leads to the reduction of the equivalent inertia of the system. Rotor speed recovery will cause the secondary frequency dips when DFIG uses rotor inertial control to participate in system frequency modulation. In order to optimize the secondary frequency dips, this paper uses PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) to optimize the Parameters of Variable Power Functions on the basis of the previously proposed variable power curve strategy. This article simulates this strategy through setting up a system by Simulink. Simulate the results of optimization, compared with the traditional recovery strategy, validity of the proposed strategy is demonstrated through simulation and analysis.

The active participation of demand side resources in power grid operation not only benefits the individual participant but also benefits the whole system. The optimal goal can promote by excavating the active behaviors of demand side. The welfare maximization of market participant is the driving force of such active behaviors. Considering the independence of each user's behavior, the consumer's utility function is selected to depict consumer's preference and demand response behavior. In order to coordinate the consumers' maximum welfare with social welfare maximization, consumers' utility function and units' operation cost are integrated into Unit Commitment (UC) model. The objective function is to maximize social welfare, by subtracting units' operation cost from consumers' total utility, and this objective can be acquired. Considering the proposed model should be solved in a distributed manner, the idea of the centralized coordination and the decentralized decision-making is proposed. Based on the Lagrangian relaxation (LR) principle and distributed real-time pricing scheme, a closed-loop feedback mechanism is constructed to reflect the relationship among generator output, price level, and load demand. The ten generating units example can illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

To better understand the promoting effect of the activation process, the performance of micro-bubbles for sodium persulfate activation was evaluated in this study. The degradation rate reached to 91.3% at 90th min in the micro-bubbles activated reactor (MAR), whereas reached to 85.7% at 250th min in the high temperature activated reactor (HTAR). Based on the fitted models, it can be indicated that the reaction rate constant was 2.45 times in the micro-bubbles activated reactor than that in the high temperature activated reactor. It can be concluded that micro-bubbles can effectively strengthen the activation process of sodium persulfate.
