Structural Topology and Dynamic Response Analysis of an Electric Torque Vectoring Drive-Axle for Electric Vehicles

In-wheel motor-drive electric vehicles have the advantage of independently controllable wheel torque and the disadvantages of unsprung mass rise and power *** address the disadvantages,a centralized layout electric torque vectoring drive-axle system(E-TVDS)with dual motors is proposed,which can realize arbitrary distribution of driving torque between the left and right ***,the speed and torque distribution principle of E-TVDS based on velocity diagram are analyzed,and a virtual prototype of the whole vehicle with basic gear ratio relation model of the E-TVDS is built for simulation to verify the theoretical results and the basic effect of E-TVDS on the steering performance of the ***,the charac-teristics of 36 types of the novel E-TVDS topology structure are compared and analyzed,and the optimal structure scheme is ***,the accurate multiple degrees of freedom dynamic model for the optimal structure is established by using the bond graph method,and its dynamic response characteristics are *** results show that the vehicle equipped with the proposed E-TVDS can distribute the driving torque with the almost identical amount but opposite sign between the left and right wheels in any direction,and varying amount according to different chassis dynamics control requirements,and the torque response performance is great with little delay and *** function and dynamic response of the proposed E-TVDS show that it has potential application value for various performance improvements of electric vehicles.

Impacts of electrochemical disinfection on the viability and structure of the microbiome in secondary effluent water

Electrochemical disinfection(ECD)is a promising disinfection technique for wastewater reclamation;however,the impacts of ECD on the microbiome in secondary effluent wastewater remain *** this study,Propidium monoazide-qPCR(PMA-qPCR)and the plate count method were used to evaluate the inactivation performance,and the PMA-16S rRNA gene sequences of living cells were targeted to study the microbiome.A discrepancy was found between PMA-qPCR and the plate count method in the evaluation of cell count,with increases of 1.5 to 2.2 orders of magnitude in the disinfection rate after 150 s of ***,the cell count recovered and occasionally exceeded original levels within 3 d after *** was suppressed after ECD,but the microbiome after 150 s disinfection retained a higher level of evenness and stability in the community with a median Shannon index(>3.7).Pathogenic bacteria remained high in relative abundance even after 150 s of 25 V disinfection,but the biofilm-forming population was effectively suppressed by *** co-occurrence network revealed a centralized and fragile network as disinfection persisted,demonstrating the destabilizing effects of ECD on the *** pathways for cell membrane synthesis and organic compound degradation were enriched after *** reaction of the microbiome after ECD was similar to other disinfection techniques in terms of community structure.

In order to solve the time cost and safety issues brought by testing the driving capability of drivers in real scenarios, this paper develops a hardware in the loop virtual simulation platform based on the parallel driving system between humans, vehicles, and roads, and realizes the evaluation of the driving capability of virtual drivers. Based on BP neural network, we establish a virtual driver driving capability evaluation model. Combining virtual environment and hardware in the loop system for verification, the experimental results show that the virtual vehicle controlled by the virtual driver model and the real vehicle have synchronization, which verifies the effectiveness of the parallel driving system among humans, vehicles, and roads. The virtual driver driving capability evaluation model has high identification accuracy and can accurately output the results of virtual driver driving capability evaluation. © 2024 IEEE.

Analysis on carbon emission reduction intensity of fuel cell vehicles from a life-cycle perspective

The hydrogen fuel cell vehicle is rapidly developing in China for carbon reduction and *** paper evaluated the life-cycle cost and carbon emission of hydrogen energy via lots of field surveys,including hydrogen production and packing in chlor-alkali plants,transport by tube trailers,storage and refueling in hydrogen refueling stations(HRSs),and application for use in two different *** also conducted a comparative study for battery electric vehicles(BEVs)and internal combustion engine vehicles(ICEVs).The result indicates that hydrogen fuel cell vehicle(FCV)has the best environmental performance but the highest energy ***,a sufficient hydrogen supply can significantly reduce the carbon intensity and FCV energy cost of the current *** carbon emission for FCV application has the potential to decrease by 73.1%in City A and 43.8%in City *** only takes 11.0%–20.1%of the BEV emission and 8.2%–9.8%of the ICEV *** cost of FCV driving can be reduced by 39.1%in City *** improvement can be obtained with an economical and“greener”hydrogen production pathway.

Regional transport characteristics of PM2.5 pollution events in Beijing during 2018–2021

Although air pollutant emissions have sharply reduced in recent years,the occurrence of PM_(2.5) pollution events remains an intractable environmental problem in Beijing,and regional transport is the key influence ***,it has been difficult to identify regional transport characteristics and the main contributors to pollution events in recent *** this study,the relative contribution of regional transport was quantified(61.3%)in PM_(2.5) pollution events during 2018-2021 by the Community Multiscale Air Quality model embedded with the Integrated Source Apportionment Model(CMAQ-ISAM).The four regions with the largest fractional contributions to Beijing for all events were Shandong(7.7%),South Hebei(7.3%),Baoding(6.2%),and Langfang(5.8%).Pollution events were classified into the following types based on regional transport directions:local,southwest(SW),southeast(SE),south-mixed(SM),and *** on the transport distance,the SW,SE,and SM types can be subdivided into SW-short,SW-long,SE-short,SE-long,SM-short,SM-long distance from southwest,SM-long distance from southeast,and SM-long distance from southwest and ***-long was regarded as the most important type,with the highest relative frequency(20%).The transport directions were related to the southwest wind at 925 hPa and southeast wind at 1000 hPa in the south of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei(BTH)region,and the distance was mainly controlled by wind *** wind-field difference can be attributed to the low-pressure and high-pressure systems that control the BTH *** results suggest that regional joint pollution control should be optimized based on the transport type.

The article designs a new type of bridge circuit with a controlled source—when the resistance on the bridge arm of the controlled source bridge circuit meets the bridge balance condition, and the bridge branch contains only one Current-controlled Current Source (CCCS), a Voltage-controlled Current Source (VCCS), a Current-controlled Voltage Source (CCVS), or a Voltage-controlled Voltage Source (VCVS), the circuit is called a controlled bridge circuit, which has the characteristics of bridge balance. Due to the relationship between the controlled source and the bridge arm, the sensitivity of the components on the bridge is higher mathematically and logically. When applied to measurement, engineering, automatic control, and other fields, the controlled bridge circuit has higher control ac-curacy. Mathematical derivation and simulation results prove the correctness of the bridge balance conclusion and the special properties of this bridge when applied to the measurement field.

Aiming at the power allocation problem of multiple energy storage power stations distributed at different locations in the regional power grid participating in frequency modulation services, a frequency modulation power optimization allocation strategy for multiple energy storage systems considering the dual constraints of frequency modulation cost and frequency modulation capability is proposed. Firstly, a multi-objective optimization allocation model for frequency modulation power is constructed with the minimum frequency modulation cost and minimum deviation of the state of charge (SOC) for energy storage power plants. Secondly, using Pareto based multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA) to solve the model, introduce adaptive weight coefficients and fuzzy membership functions for each objective function regarding the frequency regulation demand of the power grid and the deviation of the SOC of energy storage stations, construct a comprehensive satisfaction function to make decisions on the most advantageous points on the Pareto frontier, in order to obtain the optimal output of each energy storage station that can adapt to the frequency regulation requirements of the power grid. Finally, simulation analysis was conducted on the proposed strategy in this article, and the results showed that: The proposed strategy not only enhances the frequency regulation economy of the regional power grid, but also helps to restore the SOC of the energy storage power station. © 2023 IEEE.
