With the development of China's power market, more and more large industrial customers are participating in electricity market transactions, and they gradually began to pay attention to economic power consumption issues. Based on real data, this paper analyzes how large industrial customers make the best decisions to lower their electricity payment considering various real characteristics such as order requirement of production lines, specific production process, and continuity of power consumption, etc. The proposed model realizes the economic power consumption by adjusting the daily production schedule of large industrial customers. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model are illustrated by case studies.

To reduce the downtime of wind turbine caused by the fault of pitch system that usually has a high failure rate, a fault early warning method based on long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network is proposed. According to the operation characteristics of the pitch system, monitoring parameters recorded by SCADA, such as wind speed, generator speed, rotor speed, wind direction, pitch angle and output power, are utilized to establish the fault early warning model. Compared with the model based on BP neural network, the prediction accuracy of the LSTM model is effectively improved. The weights and thresholds of the LSTM neural network are optimized, and a reasonable threshold is set to determine the fault early warning criterion for the pitch system. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the LSTM model is applied to the fault early warning for a 1.5MW wind turbine pitch system. The results show that the LSTM model can give early warning about two and a half days before the fault occurs, verifying the feasibility of the proposed method.

With the increase of multi-terminal flexible DC distribution network projects, medium-voltage DC circuit breaker, as the key equipment to remove DC short-circuit fault, plays a key role in the operation reliability of the whole DC distribution network. In order to meet the engineering needs of DC distribution network, a 10kV hybrid DC circuit breaker based on the coupling negative voltage principle is developed in this paper. Firstly, the topology and working principle of the DC circuit breaker are introduced. Furthermore, the design scheme of key components including fast mechanical switch, power electronic switch and coupling negative voltage device is given. Finally, a 10kV hybrid DC circuit breaker prototype is developed and tested. The results show that the 10kV hybrid DC circuit breaker can break 15kA short circuit current within 2ms, and has the characteristics of low loss and high reliability.
