The large-scale access of renewable energy to the power grid leads to a sharp increase in the demand for powersystem regulation capacity. In order to solve this problem, this paper explores the mechanism of supply and demand balance of powersystem regulation capacity, analyzes the transmission characteristics of regulation capacity, and proposes the adequacy index of node regulation capacity and the adequacy index of network transmission regulation capacity. The Garver-6 node system is used to verify the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed method. The example shows that the proposed evaluation method can accurately identify the weak links of regulation ability and clarify the causes of insufficient regulation ability.

The offshore wind power has been gaining increasing attention in recent years. Low-frequency alternating current (LFAC) transmission is emerging as a promising technology with specific advantages for offshore wind power transmission. This paper discusses the structure and control of the offshore wind power transmission system based on LFAC. In order to enhance the support for the powersystem, grid-forming control can be implemented on both sides of the modular multilevel matrix converter (M3C) used in LFAC. Additionally, the capacitor voltage control of M3C is briefly introduced. Furthermore, power reserve control is utilized to enable wind turbines to participate in primary frequency regulation. Finally, the effectiveness of the designed controlsystem is verified through simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC, further demonstrating the efficacy of the strategy.

In order to improve the utilization of energy storage, to explore the value of energy storage utilization, and to study the utilization of energy storage. In this paper, a shared energy storage optimization scheduling method based on wind power uncertainty is proposed. Firstly, the scenario generation method of Latin hypercubic sampling and Cholesky decomposition is used to quantify the wind power output, and the uncertainty output is converted into deterministic output; then the economic operation is taken as the optimal scheduling objective, and environmental benefits such as carbon capture and grid constraints are considered to carry out the optimized scheduling of shared energy storage; finally, the validity of the method is verified through the scheduling of the 6-node arithmetic example system, and the utilization of the energy storage is analyzed. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is verified by scheduling in a 6-node arithmetic system, and energy storage utilization is analyzed.
