The utilization of 10kV cable in urban distribution networks and industrial settings necessitates regular maintenance and fault detection to guarantee uninterrupted power supply. Ensuring the de-energization of inspected cables on-site is crucial for operator safety, yet current methods for evaluating the energization status of 10kV cables lack effectiveness. This study introduces an electromagnetic detection sensor utilizing a three-split magnetic core design, aimed at addressing the issue of zero magnetic field integral resulting from the three-phase current vector sum of 0 in a 10kV cable. This study employs theoretical analysis and finite element simulation to investigate the magnetic induction state of a three-split magnetic core surrounding a 10kV distribution cable. The findings confirm that the three-split magnetic core is capable of detecting the magnetic field generated by the current load in the phase conductor on the outer surface of the 10kV cable. These results offer theoretical justification for further research into live state detection technology for 10kV cables utilizing the three-split magnetic core.

With the improvement of the informatization of the power system, the risk of cyber attack is also increasing. This paper proposes a risk assessment and prevention strategy for cyber attack against substations. Firstly, the cyber attack against substations are modeled based on the game theory of dynamic attack and defense. Secondly, an improved OPA (ORNL-PSERC-Alaska) model is utilized to analyze the cascade failure after cyber attacks and quantify the load loss of power system. Finally, a preventive strategy which can mitigate the expectation load loss caused by cyber attack against substations is put forward. simulation experiments were conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, an adaptive robust tracking controller is proposed for first-order linear systems with input delay, unknown plant parameters and Lipschitz nonlinear disturbance. The controller employs the predictor feedback to compensate for the effect of input delay, the robust feedback to deal with uncertainties, the model compensation for trajectory tracking, and projection-type adaptation laws are designed. By the stability analysis with a Lyapunov function in integral form, the closed-loop system is locally stable in the sense that the tracking error is bounded above by a known function which exponentially converges to a specified accuracy provided that the initial states and control parameters meet certain conditions. Furthermore, when the disturbance is reduced to a constant, the controller guarantees the semi-global stability that the tracking error asymptotically converges to zero. simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

Abnormalities caused by the hot spot effect are very common in the application of photovoltaic modules, which seriously affect the life and power generation efficiency of photovoltaic modules. Therefore, the study of hot spot effect is of great significance to the development of photovoltaic industry in the future. By analyzing the hot spot effect and its causes, this paper lists possible factors that may affect the hot spot effect, uses the K-proximity algorithm for hot spot detection to classify the near-field infrared images obtained in photovoltaic power plants, and designs experiments to explore the influence of several factors on the hot spot effect, the influence characteristics of the shading area and the types of shading objects are deeply explored, and finally a certain summary is made. © 2022 Institute of Physics Publishing. The fault transient characteristics of power grids have undergone a fundamental transformation as a consequence of the advent of hybrid scale access to power grids by new energy sources. Nevertheless, the existing stand-alone equivalent model is unable to accurately characterise the fault transient characteristics of the hybrid light-water-wind electric field/cluster. Furthermore, the simulation computation of the stand-alone equivalent model is considerable in scale and the simulation efficiency is low. This paper proposes a particle swarm neural network-based clustered equivalent modelling method for a light-water-wind hybrid electric field. Firstly, a transient model of the light-water-wind hybrid electric field is established, and the characteristic influence factors of faults are constructed through theoretical analysis. These include the distance between the light-water-wind hybrid electric field and the point of common coupling (PCC), the input of current limiting measures on the DC side, the light, the water speed, the wind speed, and the reactive power at the outlet. Subsequently, the Euclidean distance is calculated for the set of characteristic influencing factors, and the initial centre of clustering of wind turbines is extracted based on the improved maximum-minimum distance method. Ultimately, the clustering equivalent modelling is accomplished through the utilisation of the aforementioned feature influencing factors and the classification initial centre as the training set. The simulation results show that compared with the single-machine equivalent model, The simulation error has been reduced from the order of magnitude of 10-2 p.u. to the order of magnitude of 10-4 p.u., while the simulation efficiency of this method is has been reduced from the order of magnitude of 10-2 s to the order of magnitude of 10-4 s.

As the high-quality flexible resource of the grid, electric vehicles (EVs) can provide multiple auxiliary services for the grid at the same time. However, due to the one-way charging and discharging of EVs, as well as the limitation of power and capacity, which may cause availability conflicts when EVs participate in different auxiliary services simultaneously. This paper focuses on the analysis of the conflict mechanism of EVs participating in the secondary frequency regulation and peak shaving ancillary services at the same time. The impact mechanism between different auxiliary services in this conflict mode is revealed from the two aspects of limit conflict and charging and discharging instruction conflict, and the results of availability conflict of the two types of auxiliary services are verified and analyzed through simulation examples.

The math model of power system with large scale new energy including a large number of power electronic switch devices model, and semi physical real time simulation research of new energy integration control algorithm often uses a relatively larger simulation step size, thus this situation greatly reduces the simulation accuracy and stability of model with a large number of power electronic devices. This paper proposes a real time simulation compensation algorithm for fixed step to solve the problem. This algorithm compensates PWM waveform sampling error because of the fixed step real time simulation to improve the simulation accuracy, at the same time, it avoids the problem that the traditional algorithm increases the amount of computation with the increase of switching devices, laying the foundation for power system real-time simulation with large scale new energy.

The built-in elastic autoscaling strategy of Kubernetes, a container cloud orchestration and management system, balances the relationship between application service quality and cluster resource usage by regularly monitoring a single resource and comparing it with a set threshold to determine whether to scale up or down. However, the built-in strategy has the problems of incomplete evaluation of a single resource index, response delay and scaling jitter. To address the above problems, this paper uses an adaptive weighting algorithm to obtain a comprehensive prediction index based on long-range time multi-resource prediction sequences. This index is not only more comprehensive than a single index, but also measures the resource usage in the future time period, so that the adaptive comprehensive prediction index has the ability to more comprehensively measure the changes in application workload in the future time period. The experimental results show that the autoscaling strategy based on adaptive integrated resource forecast can effectively solve the problems of regulation lag and scaling jitter.

With the continuous increase penetration of new energy, the integration of grid-following (GFL) converter is prone to frequency stability issue, while the utilization of grid-forming (GFM) converter with active support capability has become an inevitable trend in development. In this paper, the model of grid-connected photovoltaic system using GFL/GFM control is established. The support characteristic of GFM is compared and analyzed in different testing scenarios with GFL as the reference: (1) Small disturbance test (2) Large disturbance test (3) Island capability test. Finally, the active support performance of the system is quantitatively analyzed based on corresponding evaluation indexes.

With the increasing proportion of renewable energy sources such as wind power in the energy structure, high penetration of wind power has become crucial for the normal operation of the power system. In order to improve the accuracy of wind power prediction, this study proposes a wind speed correction algorithm based on improved Hilbert-Huang Transform (iHHT), and introduces TSLANet network for multi-step prediction of ultra short term wind power. Firstly, the improved HHT method was used to decompose and analyze the wind speed in Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP), effectively solving the mode mixing problem in Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD). Next, model the model through linear network layers and determine the weight coefficients. Finally, the corrected wind speed data is input into the TSLANet network for feature learning and ultra short term multi-step wind power prediction. The experimental results indicate that the method proposed in this study can effectively improve the accuracy of power prediction.
