Phase-locked loop (PLL) based on traditional second-order generalized integrator (SOGI) cannot obtain the voltage, frequency and phase information accurately when there are multiple harmonic interference and DC offset in grid voltage. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an improved PLL that can suppress harmonic and eliminate DC component to extract the synchronous signal accurately. First of all, based on the derivation of distorted grid voltage expression, the problem of fluctuation in extracting synchronous signal from three-phase unbalanced voltage with harmonic by traditional PLL is analyzed. Then, the design of improved PLL is proposed, which is composed of an improved second-order generalized integrator and a frequency correction component which can suppress harmonics and eliminate disturbances under the condition of grid voltage distortion, and has self-adaptability in large frequency offset. Determine the control parameters to ensure that the proposed PLL structure has a better rejection to harmonic distortion than previous approaches, and realize accurate tracking of grid fundamental frequency synchronization information. Finally, the behavior of the proposed system is verified with MATLAB/Simulink simulation and Hardware-in-Loop Experimental Platform which prove the proposed PLL can realize the synchronous tracking performance of grid frequency and phase quickly and accurately in the non-ideal grid environment, and the results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.

With an increasing penetration of distributed energy resources (DERs) in Energy Internet, there is a surge of interest in distributed economic dispatch (DED) problems. The existing literature mainly focuses on average consensus algorithms, the convergence of which remains a bottleneck in practical applications. To improve the convergence rate of DED, this paper proposes a consensus algorithm based on optimized transition matrix (TM) of Markov chain. A DED model is firstly developed under a consensus-based information exchange architecture, in which a generator only communicates with its neighbors. Thus DED is implemented in an iterative manner with generators exchanging information according to a predefined TM. In contrast to the aver-agely weighted TM, we minimize the Frobenius norm (F-norm) of the TM in order to limit the eigenvalues that greatly influence the convergence rate of DED. Additionally, a virtual power method is introduced to meet generators' power limits by reformulating the power allocation ratio. Case studies verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

This paper studies the dynamic operation of a residential electric energy system with distributed renewable generation. Energy streams among the power grid, local renewable plant, storage unit, and demand are considered; the temporal volatility of renewable generation is described by an uncertainty set, and the optimal operation problem gives rise to a multi-stage robust optimization. To deal with the non-anticipativity issue, the robust model is solved via robust dual dynamic programming (RDDP) approach. The the cost-to-go function is approximated by iteratively updating the upper and lower bounds, which can be obtained from forward-pass and backward pass procedures. Case studies validate the performance and advantage of the proposed method.

Lithium-ion batteries have the advantages of high energy density, fast power response, recyclability, and convenient to movement, which are unsurpassed by other energy storage systems. However, safety issues such as thermal runaway of lithium-ion batteries have become the main bottlenecks restricting the development of their extensive applications. In practical applications, the demand for battery energy storage scale and specific energy continues to increase, and the contradiction between battery high safety and battery safety has become increasingly prominent. This paper proposes a lithium-ion battery safety risk assessment method based on online information. Effective predictions are essiential to avoid irreversible damage to the battery and ensure the safe operation of the battery energy storage system before a failure occurs. This paper is expected to provide novel risk assessment method and research idea for the development and design of high-safety battery systems.
