Preparation of yttrium oxide coating with enhanced thermal shock resistance on refractories used for titanium alloy melting and casting

In order to enhance the service life of refractories for melting and casting of titanium alloy,preparation of yttrium oxide coatings on the refractories surface is an effective *** improvement of thermal shock stability of the coating is beneficial to its spalling resistance during the high-temperature service,and the available slurry with good performance is the *** effects of the varieties and contents of dispersant(sodium tripolyphosphate,sodium hexametaphosphate,sodium pyrophosphate,citric acid and polycarboxylate ammonium salt)and binder(aluminum dihydrogen phosphate,zirconium acetate and yttria sol)on the stability,rheological and thixotropic properties of yttrium oxide waterbased slurry were investigated,and the effects of slurry composition design on the thermal shock resistance of the coating were *** results showed that the introduction of polycarboxylate ammonium salt as dispersant significantly improved the stability of the slurry,and the varieties of the binders had significant effects on the dispersibility of the *** aluminum dihydrogen phosphate and polycarboxylate ammonium salt were used as binder and dispersant,respectively,the slurry had better stability,suitable rheological and thixotropic *** using aluminum dihydrogen phosphate as binder,the coating had good thermal shock resistance and no obvious cracks were observed for the coating after thermal shock,which was attributed to the yttrium aluminate binding phase generated in the *** effective method was provided for preparing yttrium oxide coatings with enhanced thermal shock resistance applied in the process of titanium alloy melting and casting.

This article investigates a multi-circular path-following formation control with reinforced transient profiles for nonholonomic vehicles connected by a digraph.A multi-circular formation controller endowed with the feature of spatial-temporal decoupling is devised for a group of vehicles guided by a virtual leader evolving along an implicit path,which allows for a circumnavigation on multiple circles with an anticipant angular *** addition,notice that it typically imposes a stringent time constraint on time-sensitive enclosing scenarios,hence an improved prescribed performance control(IPPC)using novel tighter behavior boundaries is presented to enhance transient capabilities with an ensured appointed-time convergence free from any *** significant merits are that coordinated circumnavigation along different circles can be realized via executing geometric and dynamic assignments independently with modified transient ***,all variables existing in the entire system are analyzed to be *** and experimental results are provided to validate the utility of suggested solution.

Internal ballistic parameter testing is crucial for evaluating artillery performance and design, with projectile acceleration being a core parameter. During the firing process, projectile acceleration parameters can easily be coupled with the projectile's modal effects and the transverse effects of triaxial accelerometers, leading to inaccurate measurements. Therefore, this paper innovatively proposes a data decoupling method to improve the accuracy of acceleration measurements. Firstly, the internal ballistic firing mechanism and the transverse effects of triaxial accelerometers are analyzed. Secondly, a simulation analysis of the projectile modal is conducted, combined with the projectile's motion state within the barrel, to determine the modal orders and frequencies under axial stretching and compression vibration modes. Thirdly, shock tests are performed on triaxial accelerometers using a shock table to establish the relationships between triaxial acceleration signals. Finally, the projectile modal, Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD), and the transverse effects of triaxial accelerometers are combined to decouple the acceleration signals. A comparison between the decoupled acceleration signals and theoretical data shows that the error is reduced from 8.1% to 3.2%, significantly improving the accuracy of the acceleration signals. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. Metal-organic frameworks have a wide range of applications in the field of membrane separation,but the inherent flexible structure and the difficulty for scale-up hinder their further ***,the relatively rigid zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 particles prepared under an electric field(E-ZIF-8)were used as the fillers in polysulfone(PSF)to form series of mixed matrix *** was found that the introduction of E-ZIF-8 improves both the C3H6 permeability and C_(3)H_(6)/C_(3)H_(8) selectivity of the *** with the bare PSF membrane,the C_(3)H_(6)/C_(3)H_(8) selectivity of the 30 wt%E-ZIF-8@PSF membrane increased by~230%,while the C3H6 permeability was enhanced by~830%.In addition,time and pressure dependence analysis demonstrated that such E-ZIF-8@PSF membranes also exhibited good long-term stability and pressure resistance,offering significant industrialization advantages.

Among various temperature measurement technologies, Multispectral thermometry is a better method to measure temperature under complex conditions. To solve the problems in the multi-spectral temperature measurement technology, which included the detector's non-linear sensitivity characteristics, consistency calibration, data processing, etc., this paper, based on the previous research and development of the multi-spectral dynamic temperature measurement system, realized data acquisition of the dynamic temperature in 20us sample rates within 1550∼2000 Celsius, and then the dynamic measurement data is processed by the probabilistic neural network (PNN). Finally, temperature measurement system realized the accuracy of the measurement error less than 1.1%. The results show that the PNN neural network can fit the temperature distribution curve better and faster, and can be better applied to the miniaturization of the temperature measurement system. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Synchronous acceleration method of the load spectrum for tractor rotary tillage based on wavelet transform

The small load cycle dominates the load spectrum,resulting in inefficient laboratory-based accelerated reliability testing of *** most traditional editing methods focus on accelerating single-type loading spectrum,few are suitable for multi-type loading *** paper proposes a synchronization acceleration method for the rotary tillage load spectrum based on wavelet *** method decomposes the power take-off(PTO)torque load data and suspension load data using Daubechies wavelet basis functions,calculates the square sum of cumulative wavelet components at each scale,and identifies large damage segments through threshold setting and Hilbert envelope *** of the rotary tillage load spectrum is then achieved based on time-domain *** addition,to measure the acceleration efficiency of load spectrum and find the optimal acceleration parameters suitable for tractor tillage load spectra,a pseudo-damage acceleration efficiency(PDAE)index is proposed to evaluate the acceleration ***,through data comparison,the optimal acceleration parameters suitable for tractor tillage operation load spectra are *** acceleration,the time retention ratio of the rotary tillage load spectrum is 85.27%,the damage retention ratio of the PTO torque load spectrum is 97.14%,and the damage retention ratio of the suspension load spectrum is 96.94%.Compared to the damage retention acceleration method,the wavelet acceleration method saves an additional 10.07%of time while maintaining the effectiveness of the load *** study can provide a reference for accelerating the load spectrum of agricultural machinery and has significant implications for the field of accelerated reliability testing applications.
