A kind of processing strategy of total life cycle of mechanical products was designed. A logistics model of total life cycle of mechanical products was established based on eight typical states of life cycle of mechanical products. The logistics analysis of total life cycle of a sort of aero-engine was carried out by using the model. The dynamic equivalent quantity of the aero-engines in different states of life cycle was obtained when times changed from the products were first put into production to the time when stable production capacity was reached. The model can also be used to predict logistics of other products rapidly. The results give references for production departments or enterprises which use life cycle methods to configure their production resources effectively and optimize production processes, and also provide a basis for further analysis of total life cycle analysis such as economic and environmental assessment.

In this paper, we investigate the group consensus of coupled harmonic oscillators with multiple leaders in an undirected fixed network. Unlike many existing algorithms for group consensus of multi-agent systems or cluster synchronization of complex dynamical networks, which require global information of the underlying network such as the eigenvalues of the coupling matrix or centralized control protocols, we propose a novel decentralized adaptive group consensus algorithm for coupled harmonic oscillators. By using the decentralized adaptive group consensus algorithm and without using any global information of the underlying network, all agents in the same group asymptotically synchronize with the corresponding leader even when only one agent in each group has access to the information of the corresponding leader. Numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the theoretical results.

In networked control systems （NCS）,the control performance depends on not only the control algorithm but also the communication protocol *** performance degradation introduced by the heterogeneous and dynamic communication environment has intensified the need for the reconfigurable protocol *** this paper,a novel architecture for the reconfigurable protocol stack is proposed,which is a unified specification of the protocol components and service interfaces supporting both static and dynamic reconfiguration for existing industrial communication *** the architecture,a triple-level self-organization structure is designed to manage the dynamic reconfiguration procedure based on information exchanges inside and outside the protocol ***,the protocol stack can be self-adaptive to various environment and system requirements through the reconfiguration of working mode,routing and scheduling ***,the study on the protocol of dynamic address management is conducted for the system of controller area network （CAN）.The results show the efficiency of our self-organizing architecture for the implementation of a reconfigurable protocol stack.

In view of large range change of operating status of combustion process and difficulties in building global model and timely optimizing control parameters, this paper presents dynamic model based optimization control method using the property that just-in-time learning model can rapidly reflect process change characteristics. Based on the idea of local modeling, distance and change trend angle between samples are both considered to choose data and create an online sample library. With this dynamic sample library, a dynamic model for combustion process of coke oven is build. And based on the dynamic process model, the differential evolution algorithm is applied to optimization the universe parameters of fuzzy control to ensure the controller can meet the dynamic changes of the combustion process of coke oven. Simulations verified the effectiveness of the method. © 2012 Chinese Assoc of Automati.

A hybrid method is used to evaluate atherosclerosis through a mathematical morphology approach and GVF-Snake method. Common carotid artery (CCA) segmentation requires outlining the intima and adventitia contours on the transverse view of B-mode ultrasound (US) images. The lumen and adventitia contours are segmented using a morphology and GVF-Snake methods, respectively. Upon analyzing ten separate patient data sets demonstrate that a comparison between the proposed method and the traditional approach (manual contouring) on 110 transverse images of the CCA showed a mean absolute distance (MAD) of 0.67±0.17mm for lumen and 0.64 ± 0.19mm for adventitia. Their Dice Similarity Coefficient (DSC) values are 92.7%±2.3% and 90.3%±3.5% for lumen and adventitia segmentation, respectively. These values are in good agreement with clinical standards.

Tissue P systems are distributed parallel and non-deterministic computing models in the framework of membrane computing, which are inspired by intercellular communication and cooperation between neurons. Recently, cell separation is introduced into tissue P systems, which enables systems to generate an exponential workspace in a polynomial time. In this work, the computational power of tissue P systems with cell separation is investigated. Specifically, a uniform family of tissue P systems with cell separation is constructed for effciently solving a well-known NP-complete problem, the partition problem.

A low-cost device using acoustic method for measuring open-end tube length is developed. The proposed device is aimed to get the length of the tubes which are piled up together, and only one end of which is available in the warehouse or dumping areas. The device contains the emitting and receiving probes to echo the sound pulse and receive the reflection sound wave, and has been developed with discrete component circuits whose key part is the logical control circuit based on ARM. Experiments are performed in the open tubes with the lengths between 0.85m to 6m. The measurement error is below 0.5cm. For the tubes blocked by the cement or earth, the device can detect the location of obstruction automatically. Based on the acoustic method, experiments are also conducted in the blocked tubes based on Matlab software, and the analysis of the reflection wave is given. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper proposes a improved non-local means (NLM) filter for image denoising. Due to the drawback that the similarity is computed based on the noisy image, the traditional NLM method easily generates the artifacts in case of high-level noise. The proposed method first preprocesses the noisy image by Gaussian filter. Then, a moving window at each pixel of the noisy image is chosen as the search window, and meanwhile, a improved calculation method of spatial distance based on the preprocessed image is used for computing the similarity. Finally, combining the improved distance with search window based on the noisy image, the intensity of each pixel is restored as the traditional NLM method. The standard images are used to evaluate restoration performance of the proposed method. Additionally, the application on medical image denoising also demonstrates that our method is practical. © 2011 IEEE.

In this paper, the problems of exponential stability and -gain analysis of event-triggered networked control systems (NCSs) with network-induced delays are studied. We first propose event-triggering conditions in the sensor side and controller side, respectively. Because the implementation of our event-triggering scheme only needs periodic supervision of the system state at the constant sampling instants, instead of being monitored continuously, it is expected that the scheme will improve the resource utilization. Taking the network-induced delays into account and using delay system approach, we constructed a unified model of NCSs with hybrid event-triggering schemes. On the basis of this model, sufficient conditions for the exponential stability and -gain analysis are developed in the form of LMIs by using a discontinuous Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional approach. Moreover, the corresponding results can be further extended to more general cases, where the system matrices of the considered plant contain parameter uncertainties, represented in either polytopic or norm-bounded frameworks. In addition, as a special case, we also present the exponential stability, -gain analysis, and the control feedback gain design of event-triggered NCSs without considering the effects of network-induced delays and event-triggering condition in the controller side. Finally, a simulation example is provided to illustrate the usefulness and effectiveness of the proposed hybrid event-triggering *** © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
