Single-image super-resolution of gamma-ray imaging system using deep denoiser prior based on plug-and-play framework

Gamma-ray imaging systems are powerful tools in radiographic ***,the recorded images suffer from degradations such as noise,blurring,and downsampling,consequently failing to meet high-precision diagnostic *** this paper,we propose a novel single-image super-resolution algorithm to enhance the spatial resolution of gamma-ray imaging systems.A mathematical model of the gamma-ray imaging system is established based on maximum a posteriori *** the plug-and-play framework,the half-quadratic splitting method is employed to decouple the data fidelit term and the regularization *** image denoiser using convolutional neural networks is adopted as an implicit image prior,referred to as a deep denoiser prior,eliminating the need to explicitly design a regularization ***,the impact of the image boundary condition on reconstruction results is considered,and a method for estimating image boundaries is *** results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively addresses boundary *** increasing the pixel number of the reconstructed images,the proposed algorithm is capable of recovering more ***,in both simulation and real experiments,the proposed algorithm is demonstrated to achieve subpixel resolution,surpassing the Nyquist sampling limit determined by the camera pixel size.

Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is applied to optimize equivalent circuit model parameters of the injection probe. Different optimization objectives are also given in this paper to suit for various needs. Numerical results showed that primary equivalence circuit as well as two parallel RLC branches make the frequency-dependent impedance close enough to the measured one below 300MHz, which is the frequency band of interest for High-altitude Electromagnetic pulse (HEMP). Deviation of impedance at frequency higher than 300MHz and different optimization results for a given optimization objective are all due to the topology of the equivalence circuit. © 2022 IEEE.

With the development of power system towards intelligence and informatization,the threat of strong electromagnetic pulses is ***-altitude electromagnetic pulse(HEMP),with its wide coverage and high electric field strength,poses a global threat to power facilities distributed over a wide area and can paralyze the power system of a region or even a *** addition,in the context of energy transition in China,the current power system in China presents new characteristics of uncer-tainty,openness,and complexity,which makes it more vulnerable to the increasing natural disasters and possible manmade attacks,adding great potential risks to its *** on the environmental characteristics,effects and hazards of HEMP and preliminary assessment results,as well as taking into account the security faced by the power system under the energy transition,this paper proposes the construction of a resilient power system with high resilience as a response ***,this paper elaborates the development steps and specific research framework for a resilient power *** is hoped that a resilient power system with rapid resilience will be built after 15 years of hard work of the whole industry.

Power equipment displays notable variations in port characteristics, resulting in pronounced waveform distortion during High-altitude Electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) effect tests, along with low coupling efficiency. Moreover, the equipment operates at elevated voltages, posing a risk of test system failures during powered testing. Presently, there are no established methodologies or testing platforms for conducting HEMP effect tests on power equipment, either domestically or internationally. This paper comprehensively explores the physical interaction processes between the power system and the HEMP current injection test system. It introduces a pulse interference loading method based on the concept of equivalent "zero potential," which effectively addresses the challenge of the pulse source’s internal circuit insulation not being able to withstand high-frequency voltages and power capacity. Moreover, it enables the precise phase loading of nanosecond pulses onto millisecond-level power frequency signals, as well as efficient coupling between the pulse source output and power equipment. This method facilitates the acquisition of phenomena and threshold data related to the electromagnetic pulse effects on power equipment under real-world operating conditions.

Semiconductor-based neutron-detectors are characterized by small size, high energy-resolution, good spatial resolution, and stable response(at the depletion voltage). Consequently, these neutron-detectors are important for the fields of nuclear proliferation prevention, oil exploration, monitoring neutron-scattering experiments, cancer treatments, and space radiation effect research. However, there are some well-known problems for conventional silicon-based neutron detectors: low neutron-detection efficiency and limited resistance to radiation. Therefore, critical improvements are needed to enable sufficiently effective and practical neutron detection. To address these problems, direct-conversion neutron detectors as well as wide bandgap semiconductor-based detectors have been developed and studied intensely during the past years. Significant progress with respect to detection efficiency, radiation resistance, and room temperature operation was achieved. This paper reviews the latest research highlights, remaining challenges, and emerging technologies of direct-conversion neutron detectors as well as wide-bandgap semiconductor neutron detectors. This compact review serves as a reference for researchers interested in the design and development of improved neutron detectors in the future.

In order to accurately measure the surface current of the equipment under powerful electromagnetic environment, it is necessary to analyze the theory of surface current density and estimate the measurement method via comprehensive simulation. In this research, firstly, the basic principle of surface current measurement is given, then the field enhancement effect of the detector is analyzed. Based on the electromagnetic simulation software CST, the surface current density distribution of the metal shell is simulated, next, the uniformity of magnetic field on the surface of the shell is provided. Furthermore, it is verified that the existence of surface current detector will lead to field enhancement effect similar to the case of electric field measurement. The variables affecting the enhancement factor is simulated and analyzed in detail. Finally, a conclusion is given. This research can supply technical support for the manufacture and usage of surface current detectors.

A response distortion correction method of Intensified Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (ICMOS) camera is proposed. First, the Fixed Pattern Noise (FPN) is removed from the original input image captured by the ICMOS camera. Second, the response correction using the traditional method, i.e., the polynomial fitting technique, is considered to eliminate the error to some extent. Third, a response correction using the machine learning-based method is proposed to decrease the error further. A kind of Improve Adaptive Genetic Algorithm-Support Vector Regression (IAGA-SVR) is designed to improve the computation effect of SVR. The inputs of IAGA-SVR include the manufacturing and response parameters of ICMOS camera;the output of it is the error compensation item. Extensive experiment results have shown that our proposed method can improve the response correction accuracy than the traditional and other improved optimal algorithm-based methods. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The combination of excellent thermal stability and outstanding electrical performance is of great sig-nificance for piezoelectric ***,we have prepared 0.11Pb(In_(0.5)Nb_(0.5))O_(3)-0.89Pb(Hf_(0.47)Ti_(0.53))O_(3)-Sb_(2)O_(5)(PIN-PHT-x Sb)ceramics by solid-phase method and investigated the effect of oxygen octahedral lattice distortion on microstructure and macroscopic electrical *** distortion index of oxygen octahedra is studied by Rietveld refinement,showing that optimal octahedral distortion can soften B-O repulsion,disrupt long-range ordered ferroelectric domains,and enhance local heterogeneities,signifi-cantly increasing piezoelectric ***,outstanding thermal stability and ultrahigh piezo-electric response of PIN-PHT-1.2Sb ceramics are realized under the synergistic influence of octahedral distortion,excellent density,and large grain *** with PIN-PHT ceramics,PIN-PHT-1.2Sb ce-ramics exhibit ultrahigh piezoelectric responses(d_(33)=706 pC/N,k_(p)=0.68,ε_(r)=3244),a high Curie temperature(T C)of 300℃,excellent thermal stability,and anti-fatigue properties.

The lead contamination and long-term stability are the two important problems limiting the commercialization of organic–inorganic lead halide *** this study,through an innovative multi-scale simulation strategy based on the first-principle calculations coupling with drift-diffusion model and Monte Carlo method,a new discovery is shed on the vacancy-ordered double perovskite Cs_(2)TiI_(6),a potential nontoxic and stable perovskite material for high-performance solar cell andα-particle *** excellent photon absorption character and ultrahigh carrier mobility(μn=2.26×10^(4)cm^(2)/Vs,μp=7.38×10^(3)cm^(2)/Vs)of Cs_(2)TiI_(6)induce ultrahigh power conversion efficiency(PCE)for both single-junction solar cell(22.70%)and monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cell(26.87%).Moreover,the outstanding device performance can be remained even in high energy charge particle detection(α-particle)with excellent charge collection efficiency(CCE=99.2%)and mobility-lifetime product(μτh=1×10^(–3)cm^(2)/V).Furthermore,to our surprise,the solar cell andα-particle detector based on Cs_(2)TiI_(6)material are able to withstand ultrahigh fluence proton beam up to 1013 and 1015 p/cm2 respectively,which strongly suggests that semiconductor devices based on Cs_(2)TiI_(6)material are able to apply in the *** multi-scale simulation connecting from material to device reveals that Cs_(2)TiI_(6)perovskite has the great potential for photovoltaic cells,α-particle detection and even their space application.
