In order to enpower the hight performance as well as interpretability of low-order TSK fuzzy classifier, a born-again TSK fuzzy classier embedded with decoupled fuzzy dark knowledge distillation called HTSK-LLM-DKD is proposed in this study. HTSK-LLM DKD achieves the following distinctive characteristics: 1) It takes high-order TSK as teacher model and low-order TSK fuzzy classifier as student model, and leverages the proposed Least Learning Machine based Decoupling Knowledge Distillation to distill the fuzzy dark knowledge from high-order TSK fuzzy classifier to low-order TSK fuzzy classifier, which resulting in low-order TSK fuzzy classifier endowed with enhanced performance surpassing or at least comparable to high-order TSK fuzzy classifier;specifically 2) The Negative Euclidean distance between the output of teacher model and each class is employed to obtain the teacher logits, and then it computes teacher/student soft labels by the softmax function with distilling temperature parameter;3) By reformulating the Kullback Leibler divergence, it decouples fuzzy dark knowledge into target class knowledge and non-target class knowledge, and transfers them to student model, which taking HTSK-LLM-DKD with outstanding performance and relatively fast running speed. Extensive experiment results on UCI benchmarking datasets and real-world dataset Cleveland Heart Disease demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed HTSK-LLM-DKD. © 2024, The Authors. The increasing number of uncoordinated charging and discharging for plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) poses new challenges to the operation of the distribution network. We introduce a dynamic price mechanism so that charging at peak load will lead to an increase in cost. Then, a distributed online charging and discharging scheduling scheme for PEVs based on the dynamic price mechanism is proposed, considering the minimization of charging cost and battery degradation cost. Unlike most of the existing studies that require the future information of PEVs to schedule charging, the proposed algorithm can solve the scheduling problem for PEVs by taking advantage of a distributed alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM). Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed scheduling scheme.

Zero-shot Text-driven Physically Interpretable Face Editing

This paper proposes a novel and physically interpretable method for face editing based on arbitrary text prompts. Different from previous GAN-inversion-based face editing methods that manipulate the latent space of GANs, or diffusion-based methods that model image manipulation as a reverse diffusion process, we regard the face editing process as imposing vector flow fields on face images, representing the offset of spatial coordinates and color for each image pixel. Under the above-proposed paradigm, we represent the vector flow field in two ways: 1) explicitly represent the flow vectors with rasterized tensors, and 2) implicitly parameterize the flow vectors as continuous, smooth, and resolution-agnostic neural fields, by leveraging the recent advances of implicit neural representations. The flow vectors are iteratively optimized under the guidance of the pre-trained Contrastive Language-image Pretraining (CLIP) model by maximizing the correlation between the edited image and the text prompt. We also propose a learning-based one-shot face editing framework, which is fast and adaptable to any text prompt input. Our method can also be flexibly extended to real-time video face editing. Compared with state-of-the-art text-driven face editing methods, our method can generate physically interpretable face editing results with high identity consistency and image quality. The two areas of picture languages and membrane computing were linked by array-rewriting P system in which array objects and context-free array-rewriting rules are used in order to generate picture languages. While rewriting arrays in the array-rewriting P system is in a sequential manner, parallel array P system (PAP) involves rewriting of arrays in the regions in parallel in order to generate picture languages. A variant of PAP, known as tabled array P system (TPAP), uses sets of context-free array-rewriting rules, called tables of rules. In this paper, a novel interval type-2 fuzzy logic controller (IT2FLC) is proposed for controlling a mobile wheeled inverted pendulum(MWIP) with model uncertainties and external disturbances. The MWIP is a typical underactuated system which is generally composed of two subsystems, an invert pendulum and a mobile robot system. The IT2FLC proposed in this paper is composed of a balancing controller, a velocity controller and a yaw steering controller. The proposed integrated IT2FLC is linear combination of the three individual IT2FLCs which uses simplified type reduce method. The proposed controller has simple structure and requires less computation, also it is expected to have robustness to uncertainties and external disturbances in the practical implementation. Considering the model uncertainties and external disturbances, simulation results proved the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed IT2FLC compared with type-1 fuzzy logic controller (T1FLC).

In this paper, we present a new terminal sliding mode control to achieve predefined-time stability of robot manipulators. The proposed control is developed based on a novel predefined-time terminal sliding mode (PTSM) surface, on which the states are forced to reach the origin in a predefined time, i.e., the settling time is independent to the initial condition and can be explicitly user-defined via adjusting some specific parameters called the predefined-time parameters. It is also demonstrated that the proposed control can provide satisfactory steady-state performance in the case of both external disturbances and parametric uncertainties. Besides, we present a formal systemic analysis method to derive the sufficient conditions for guaranteeing the predefined-time convergence of the closed-loop system. Finally, the effectiveness and performance of the presented control scheme are illustrated through both theoretical comparisons and numerical simulations. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. Finite-size scaling of geometric renormalization flows in complex networks

Recently, the concept of geometric renormalization group provides a good approach for studying the structural symmetry and functional invariance of complex networks. Along this line, we systematically investigate the finite-size scaling of structural and dynamical observables in geometric renormalization flows of synthetic and real evolutionary networks. Our results show that these observables can be well characterized by a certain scaling function. Specifically, we show that the critical exponent implied by the scaling function is independent of these observables but only depends on the small-world properties of the network, namely, all networks located in the small-world phase have a uniform scaling exponent, while those located in the non-small-world phase and in their critical regions have another uniform scaling. More importantly, we perform extensive experiments on real evolutionary networks with small-world characteristics, and our results show that these observables also have uniform scaling in their geometric renormalization flows. Therefore, in a sense this exponent can be used as an effective measure for classifying universal small-world and non-small-world network models. © 2020, CC BY-SA.

Water diffusion measurements have been shown to be sensitive to tissue cellular size, extra cellular volume, and membrane permeability. Therefore, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) by MRI can be used to characterize highly cellular regions of tumors versus acellular regions, distinguishing cystic regions from solid regions. An automatic segmentation method is proposed in this paper based on a multi-phase clustering algorithm to segment the brain tumors in a feature space extracted from DTI images. The algorithm is applied on images of a total of 20 patients with 4 different types of tumors. The tumor region segmentation was 92% accurate based on the segmentation results using anatomical images and 100% accurate based on biopsy results. In general, the segmentation results obtained by the proposed method revealed a strong agreement with the biopsy results and anatomical images, providing support for the accuracy and robustness of the proposed feature space and the segmentation procedure.

Background and ObjectiveThe instance segmentation of impacted tooth in the oral panoramic X-ray images is research hot. However, impacted tooth in panoramic X-Ray images lead to teeth deformities, low contrast between the tooth and periodontal tissue. In this paper, a Teeth YOLACT instance segmentation model is *** main contributions of this paper are as follows: Firstly, a Multi-scale Res-Transformer Module (MRTM) is designed, in the module, the depth-wise separable convolution with different perceptive fields are used to improve the model sensitivity to the lesion size, the Vision Transformer are used to improve the model perception ability about global features. Secondly, the Context Interaction-awareness Module (CIaM) is designed to fuse deep and shallow features. The shallow spatial features are guided by the deep semantic features. Then the shallow spatial features are embedded into the deep semantic features, and the cross-weighted attention mechanism is used to efficiently aggregate the deep and shallow features, richer context information are obtained. Thirdly, the Edge-preserving perception Module(E2PM) is designed to enhance the teeth edge features. The first order differential operator is used to get the tooth edge weight, perception ability of tooth edge features is improved. The shallow spatial feature is fused by linear mapping, weight concatenation and matrix multiplication operations to preserve the tooth edge information. Finally, comparison experiments and ablation experiments are conducted on the oral panoramic X-ray image *** results show that the APdet, APseg, ARdet, ARseg, mAPdet and mAPseg indicators of the proposed model are 89.9%, 91.9%, 77.4%, 77.6%, 72.8% and 73.5%, *** are some positive significances about the dental computer-aided diagnosis based on panoramic oral X-ray images. © 2024, The Authors. Numerous studies have demonstrated that numerous animal species are capable of goal-directed navigation using environmental information for dead reckoning. The stable magnetic field of the earth provides important information for the migration of animals over long distances. Inspired by the goal-directed navigation of animals, a novel Geomagnetic Navigation with Temporal Attention-based Data-Driven Dead Reckoning (Attention-DR) method for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) is presented in this article, which only utilizes the inclination angle (I) and the declination angle (D) of the Geomagnetic Field (GF) for underwater navigation without any prior knowledge of the geographical location or geographic map. This article proposes a Temporal Attention-based Long Short-Term Memory (TA-LSTM) neural network by combining history, GF information, and location in time series to achieve the optimization heading angle of underwater dead reckoning. Due to its ability to adjust the utilization weights of local and global temporal information in the path, TA-LSTM possesses the capability to continually update neural network model parameters through a data-driven process during the navigation process. This enables the Attention-DR to achieve efficient navigation in regions without prior magnetic maps and overcome navigation failures caused by magnetic field anomalies.
