In this paper, we remodel the rumor propagation process using Petri net and demonstrate the possibility of describing dynamic behaviors of social networks in Petri net. First, we transform popular Susceptible-Infected-Removed epidemic model into Petri net, from which single rumor model is derived. The single rumor model denotes a basic unit of information propagation and can be tuned for other kinds of information like clarification. By merging rumor and clarification units and making them compete on tokens, the model for multiple pieces of information propagating is finally built up. According to rumor spreading data collected from ***, we primarily tune the parameters of the model. The model output is compared with real world data and explanatory power of the model is achieved.

Enterprise-wide optimization(EWO) requires the integrated optimization of models for production planning, scheduling and control in the refinery decision supporting system. When modeling for a refinery, the modeling objects are the same. Due to incompatible modeling paradigms and modeling software, the modeling objects are difficult to be shared between different models. In this paper, ontology-driven modeling(ODM) is used to support the multi-paradigm modeling for refinery. In ODM, the refinery modeling objects are stored in the PUO domain ontology and the different modeling paradigms are separately represented as modeling ontologies. Through the mapping from the domain ontology to modeling ontologies, models represented as instances of modeling ontologies can be developed, which can be transformed into executable formats in modeling tools. Compared with traditional modeling systems, ODM can share refinery domain knowledge between different paradigm models and has higher productivity.

We address the problem of output stabilization for the class of nonlinear minimum-phase systems with a well-defined relative degree whose output is affected by measurement noise. In the proposed control structure the derivatives of the output are estimated by means of a new high-gain observer proposed in Astolfi and Marconi [2015], which, with respect to high-gain observers conventionally used in literature, has limited gain power. The advantage in using the proposed observer is in its implementation for systems with high relative degree and in the sensitivity to the sensor noise. Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed control structure.

An approximation for the boundary optimal control problem of a heat equation defined in a variable domain

In this paper, we consider a numerical approximation for the boundary optimal control problem with the control constraint governed by a heat equation defined in a variable domain. For this variable domain problem, the boundary of the domain is moving and the shape of theboundary is defined by a known time-dependent function. By making use of the Galerkin finite element method, we first project the original optimal control problem into a semi-discrete optimal control problem governed by a system of ordinary differential equations. Then, based on the aforementioned semi-discrete problem, we apply the control parameterization method to obtain an optimal parameter selection problem governed by a lumped parameter system, which can be solved as a nonlinear optimization problem by a Sequential Quadratic Programming （SQP） algorithm. The numerical simulation is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our numerical approximation for the variable domain problem with the finite element method and the control parameterization method.

Smart gels have many applications in sensors, actuators, shape memory intelligent devices, recognition, self-healing, drug release, biomimetic soft robot design, biomimetic tactile, neural regeneration, biomimetic membranes, supercapacitor, dye-sensitized solar cells, advanced lithium polymer batteries, environmental fields, biomedical fields, et al. And that cyclodextrins are one of the typical macrocycles with good recognition ability, and endowed with fascinating hydrophobic cavities and hydrophilic surface, which enable the encapsulation of diverse small organic molecules by forming inclusion complexes. In this paper, grafted copolymerization between acrylic acid and N, N-dimethyl acrylamide in the presence of water-soluble cyclodextrins was carried out. The effect of ratio of copolymerization monomer on the grafted polymer was examined. The results indicated that self-crosslinking smart gel with multi-stimuli responsive was obtained by selecting suitable the ratio of copolymerization monomer, its behaviors of swelling/shrinking were examined. The adsorption properties and releasing characteristics of smart gel were performed with simulating drugs. Some meaningful results were obtained. These series grafted copolymer would also be used to modify the surface and interface properties of low-dimensional functional materials or heterostructured nanocomposites for intelligent organic-inorganic functional nanocomposites, some good results were obtained. © (2015) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Nano/Micro-structured CeO2 and their nanocomposites have been received considerable attention in basic research and commercial applications, such as, new energy fields, photocatalysts, environmental fields, et al. To extend its visible light response and pave the effective conductive channels for charge transfer and separation in nano scale is still facing great challenges. To explore these key issues of materials chemistry and physics, CeO2 nanorods were prepared with aid of soft templates by wet chemical approach. Graphene nanoribbons were obtained with unzipping method of carbon nanotube (CNTs). Entanglement of CeO2 nanorods and graphene nanoribbons oxides was realized based on the supermolecular interactions between surface active groups of CeO2 nanorods and graphene nanoribbons oxides and excellent flexibility of graphene nanoribbons. A series of characterizations were examined by SEM (scanning electron microscopy), TEM (transmission electron microscopy), XRD (X-ray diffraction), the Fourier-Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectra, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis) and so on. Photocatalytic efficiency was examined by selecting typical organic pollutants. The results indicated that the entanglement of a small amount of graphene nanoribbons on the surface of CeO2 nanorods not only expanded the light response of nanocomposite to visible light, but also enhanced the adsorption properties to organic pollutants. Because of excellent charge transfer properties and high mobility of graphene nanoribbons, the nanocomposites of CeO2/graphene nanoribbons are favor for electron-holes pairs generated by visible light, separation, and transfer, which would be important potential applications in photocatalysts, artificial photosynthesis system, nano/micro-devices, et al. © (2015) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Hundreds of incubators get birthed worldwide every day, and many new ICT technologies developed continuously, like cloud computing and big data. Therefore, it's possible and necessary to develop a cloud computing platform that gathering a variety of data and resources information needed by thousands of incubators and millions of incubated enterprises. In this paper, after comparing three different countries incubator's management procedure, we mainly talk about the way to design a cloud-based incubator platform including its architecture, main functions, and the interface. We assume that the platform can gather and share a variety of information and resource, like money, human resource, equipment, office place and so on. So the platform is beneficial for the incubated enterprises, incubators, and the government. For example, the platform can provide individual services through big data technology. The platform can analysis the situation of incubators and warn the companies in dangerous condition with the history big data. Finally, this paper describes the use case of cloud-based incubator platform for Guangdong Province.

This paper considers a new bi-objective optimization formulation for robust RGB-D visual *** investigate two methods for solving the proposed bi-objective optimization problem:the weighted sum method（in which the objective functions are combined into a single objective function） and the bounded objective method（in which one of the objective functions is optimized and the value of the other objective function is bounded via a constraint）.Our experimental results for the open source TUM RGB-D dataset show that the new bi-objective optimization formulation is superior to several existing RGB-D odometry *** particular,the new formulation yields more accurate motion estimates and is more robust when textural or structural features in the image sequence are lacking.

We introduce a novel RGB-D descriptor called local ordinal intensity and normal descriptor (LOIND) with the integration of texture information in RGB image and geometric information in depth image. We implement the descriptor with a 3-D histogram supported by orders of intensities and angles between normal vectors, in addition with the spatial sub-divisions. The former ordering information which is invariant under the transformation of illumination, scale and rotation provides the robustness of our descriptor, while the latter spatial distribution provides higher information capacity so that the discriminative performance is promoted. Comparable experiments with the state-of-art descriptors, e.g. SIFT, SURF, CSHOT and BRAND, show the effectiveness of our LOIND to the complex illumination changes and scale transformation. We also provide a new method to estimate the dominant orientation with only the geometric information, which can ensure the rotation invariance under extremely poor illumination.
