Mixed time series (MiTS) comprising both continuous variables (CVs) and discrete variables (DVs) are frequently encountered yet under-explored in time series analysis. Essentially, CVs and DVs exhibit different temporal patterns and distribution types. Overlooking these heterogeneities would lead to insufficient and imbalanced representation learning, bringing biased results. This paper addresses the problem with two insights: 1) DVs may originate from intrinsic latent continuous variables (LCVs), which lose fine-grained information due to extrinsic discretization; 2) LCVs and CVs share similar temporal patterns and interact spatially. Considering these similarities and interactions, we propose a general MiTS analysis framework MiTSformer, which recovers LCVs behind DVs for sufficient and balanced spatial-temporal modeling by designing two essential inductive biases: 1) hierarchically aggregating multi-scale temporal context information to enrich the information granularity of DVs; 2) adaptively learning the aggregation processes via the adversarial guidance from CVs. Subsequently, MiTSformer captures complete spatial-temporal dependencies within and across LCVs and CVs via cascaded self- and cross-attention blocks. Empirically, MiTSformer achieves consistent SOTA on five mixed time series analysis tasks, including classification, extrinsic regression, anomaly detection, imputation, and long-term forecasting. With the continuous deepening of Artificial Neural Network(ANN)research,ANN model structure and function are improving towards diversification and ***,the model is more evaluated from the pros and cons of the problem-solving results and the lack of evaluation from the biomimetic aspect of imitating neural networks is not inclusive ***,a new ANN models evaluation strategy is proposed from the perspective of bionics in response to this problem in the ***,four classical neural network models are illustrated:Back Propagation(BP)network,Deep Belief Network(DBN),LeNet5 network,and olfactory bionic model(KIII model),and the neuron transmission mode and equation,network structure,and weight updating principle of the models are analyzed *** analysis results show that the KIII model comes closer to the actual biological nervous system compared with other models,and the LeNet5 network simulates the nervous system in ***,evaluation indexes of ANN are constructed from the perspective of bionics in this paper:small-world,synchronous,and chaotic ***,the network model is quantitatively analyzed by evaluation indexes from the perspective of *** experimental results show that the DBN network,LeNet5 network,and BP network have synchronous *** the DBN network and LeNet5 network have certain chaotic characteristics,but there is still a certain distance between the three classical neural networks and actual biological neural *** KIII model has certain small-world characteristics in structure,and its network also exhibits synchronization characteristics and chaotic *** with the DBN network,LeNet5 network,and the BP network,the KIII model is closer to the real biological neural network.

Inferring 3D structures from sparse, unposed observations is challenging due to its unconstrained nature. Recent methods propose to predict implicit representations directly from unposed inputs in a data-driven manner, achieving promising results. However, these methods do not utilize geometric priors and cannot hallucinate the appearance of unseen regions, thus making it challenging to reconstruct fine geometric and textural details. To tackle this challenge, our key idea is to reformulate this ill-posed problem as conditional novel view synthesis, aiming to generate complete observations from limited input views to facilitate reconstruction. With complete observations, the poses of the input views can be easily recovered and further used to optimize the reconstructed object. To this end, we propose a novel pipeline Pragmatist. First, we generate a complete observation of the object via a multiview conditional diffusion model. Then, we use a feed-forward large reconstruction model to obtain the reconstructed mesh. To further improve the reconstruction quality, we recover the poses of input views by inverting the obtained 3D representations and further optimize the texture using detailed input views. Unlike previous approaches, our pipeline improves reconstruction by efficiently leveraging unposed inputs and generative priors, circumventing the direct resolution of highly ill-posed problems. 准确的功率曲线可以反映风机的运行状况,在风力发电机组的监测中至关重要。然而,一些新安装的风力发电机组由于没有足够的训练数据来拟合准确的功率曲线,从而导致监测结果不佳。本文提出了一种基于数据扩充的分段回归方法实现对风电机组的自适应监测,该方法可分为离线建模阶段和在线监测阶段。在离线建模时,首先,设计了一种新的映射函数,通过将其他数据集的数据映射到目标数据集上,从而实现对目标数据集的扩充,进而使得目标风力发电机组有足够的数据用于模型训练。然后,设计了一种分段建模策略,将扩充后数据的信息精炼到少量样本中,再进行功率曲线拟合,可以以较低的计算复杂度准确拟合出功率曲线。在线监测时,可依据功率曲线模型对功率进行预测,最后将预测结果与实际功率进行比较,从而实现对运行状态的监测。此外,我们提出一种增量学习策略,以利用新的数据实时更新模型提高预测和监测的准确度。实验采用真实风电数据,结果表明,所提监测方法能够在数据不足的情况下能准确地发现异常行为,监测准确率可达92.77%。

Synergistic enhancement of pollutant removal from high-salt wastewater using coagulation-flotation combined process

Sufficient treatment of industrial organic wastewater with high salt and large amounts of suspended particulate matter remains a challenge *** this work,a novel coagulation-flotation combined process was developed to treat the suspended particles as well as significantly reduce organic pollutants content in the actual high-salt organic *** typical inorganic and organic flocculants(poly aluminum chloride(PAC),poly ferric sulfate(PFS),polyacrylamide(PAM),and modified cationic starch(CS))were selected for compounding to obtain an optimized flocculation system for high-salt *** results showed that the PAC-PAM with a 10:1 ratio in mass exhibited the best coagulation behaviors with the removal efficiency of turbidity and chemical oxygen demand(COD)being 95.33%and 9.21%,respectively,under the optimal operation conditions,and the sedimentation process of coagulant conformed to the quasi-second-order *** PAC-PAM flocs exhibited stronger netting,sweeping,and adsorption bridging capabilities,which were conducive to removing suspended *** the flotation was conducted after coagulation,the COD decreased significantly by 20.82%.In addition,this combined process could reduce the treatment time by 50%compared to the process with only coagulation *** the flotation process,floc particles companies with hydrophobic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons could collide and adhere to microbubbles and be floated to the surface,resulting in an effective reduction of *** work could provide a novel strategy and step forward to design and optimize the pretreatment process engineering for organic high-salt wastewater.

With the pervasive integration of artificial intelligence into all aspects of human life, talent emerges as a primary resource. Upon analysing the current state of talent training in higher education institutions, issues such as dispersed knowledge points, overlapping content, a singular practice approach and ineffective evaluation have been identified. In response to these challenges, this paper proposes a multidisciplinary and comprehensive practical teaching methodology grounded in the knowledge graph framework. It delves into diverse paths for practical teaching and assessment, including aspects like teaching objectives, problem decomposition, resource integration, implementation methods and performance evaluation. The practical application of the SSD algorithm in researching service robot indoor object detection serves as an illustrative example. Employing the holistic practical teaching approach facilitated by the knowledge graph, this model guides students in acquiring object detection expertise, thereby enhancing their comprehensive development. Host-Induced Gene Silencing of Effector AGLIP1 Enhanced Resistance of Rice to Rhizoctonia solani AG1-IA

Rice sheath blight, caused by Rhizoctonia solani AG1-IA, is a major disease in rice-growing areas worldwide. Effectors of phytopathogenic fungi play important roles during the infection process of fungal pathogens onto their host plants. However, the molecular mechanisms by which R. solani effectors regulate rice immunity are not well understood. Through prediction, 78 candidate effector molecules were identified. Using the tobacco rattle virus-host induced gene silencing(TRV-HIGS) system, 45 RNAi constructs of effector genes were infiltrated into Nicotiana benthamiana leaves. The results revealed that eight of these constructs resulted in a significant reduction in necrosis caused by infection with the AG1-IA strain GD-118. Additionally, stable rice transformants carrying the double-stranded RNA construct for one of the effector genes, AGLIP1, were generated to further verify the function of this gene. The suppression of the AGLIP1 gene increased the resistance of both N. benthamiana and rice against GD-118, and also affected the growth rate of GD-118, indicating that AGLIP1 is a key pathogenic factor. Small RNA sequencing showed that the HIGS vectors were processed into si RNAs within the plants and then translocated to the fungi, leading to the silencing of the target genes. As a result, AGLIP1 might be an excellent candidate for HIGS, thereby enhancing crop resistance against the pathogen and contributing to the control of R. solani infection.

Resilient observer-based event-triggered control for cyber-physical systems under asynchronous denial-of-service attacks

We develop the resilient observer-based event-triggered control update strategy in this *** is utilized to achieve the input-to-state stability（ISS） of cyber-physical systems（CPSs） when there is an asynchronous denial-of-service（DoS） attack, which is launched by malicious adversaries both on measurement channel and control channel in a random attack strategy. To estimate the unmeasurable states while saving the limited networked bandwidth, an H∞observer-based event-triggered control scheme is first designed to guarantee the ISS of CPSs with economic communication. Moreover, the occurrence of Zeno behavior can be eliminated by providing the existence of a lower positive bound of any two inter-event times. Then, a recursive model of asynchronous DoS attacks is introduced. A resilient control update strategy is proposed and further analyzed to derive the stability criterion of CPSs. At last, a numerical simulation example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the introduced control update policy.
