This note discusses the problem of stabilization for a class of uncertain networked controlsystems(NCSs) with nonlinear perturbation. By introducing a new model of NCSs with parameter uncertainty, network-induced delay, nonlinearity and data packet dropout in the transmission, a strict linear matrix inequality (LMI) criterion is presented for robust stabilization the uncertain nonlinear NCSs based on the Lyapunov stability theory. The maximum upper bound of the allowable delay can be obtained by solving the convex optimization problem of the corresponding LMI. Numerical example is provided to demonstrate the applicability and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

Wireless sensor networks are characterized by multihop network. Some nodes in network are required to forward a disproportionately high amount of traffic and die early, leaving the unmonitored areas in network and leading to the problem of energy hole. This paper investigates a variety of strategies to avoid the energy hole, such as communication power control, data aggregation, nonuniform energy distribution, mobile node auxiliary and clustering. The analysis and comparison of different strategies are given and the advantages and disadvantage of them are discussed in this paper.

controller switching algorithms used for Unfalsified Adaptive control are investigated. The concept of interfalsification, a generalization of the existing ε-hysteresis algorithm, is defined; the concept of self-falsification is introduced; and the two concepts are compared. New controller switching algorithms are designed based on the idea of self-falsification. These algorithms relax the assumption that the cost function be monotonically nondecreasing in time, and are thus more flexible than the existing inter-falsification algorithm. Simulations illustrate that the self-falsification algorithms can be used with non-monotone cost functions.
