With the development of communication and sensing technology, it has become possible to monitor the operating status of the power grid system through a series of sensors. However, malicious adversaries may launch data integrity attacks to compromise the measurements of certain sensors, causing the grid monitoring system to fail to grasp the correct system operating status. To solve the NP-hard suspicious sensor selection problem, this paper proposes an efficient attack detection scheduling algorithm, the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm based on historical information directional guidance (HIDG-based PSO algorithm). The proposed algorithm is utilized with its unique evolutionary mechanism, which reduces the computational power requirements for sensor selection. For the problem of uncertainty in evolutionary algorithms, this paper uses historical information to guide the selection of suspicious sensors at the current moment. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can efficiently select suspicious sensors, which will greatly improve the efficiency of attack detection and ensure the security of information fusion of the power grid monitoring system.

Deep Learning Enabled Semantic Communication systems for Video Transmission

Semantic communication has emerged as a promising approach for improving efficient transmission in the next generation of wireless networks. Inspired by the success of semantic communication in different areas, we aim to provide a new semantic communication scheme from the semantic level. In this paper, we propose a novel DL-based semantic communication system for video transmission, which compacts semantic-related information to improve transmission efficiency. In particular, we utilize the Bi-optical flow to estimate residual information of inter-frame details. We also propose a feature choice module and a feature fusion module to drop semantically redundant features while paying more attention to the important semantic-related content. We employ a frame prediction module to reconstruct semantic features of the prediction frame from the received signal at the receiver. To enhance the system's robustness, we propose a noise attention module that assigns different importance weights to the extracted features. Simulation results indicate that our proposed method outperforms existing approaches in terms of transmission efficiency, achieving about 33.3% reduction in the number of transmitted symbols while improving the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) performance by an average of 0.56dB. This paper focuses on voltage control for a dynamic wireless charging system of electric vehicles based on an extended state observer. Each dynamic wireless charging system will suffer from complex disturbances, leading to the challenge of output voltage control. To address this issue, we propose a disturbance rejection control scheme that utilizes an extended state observer to estimate the unknown disturbances. A dynamic sliding-mode surface is designed to suppress estimation error, and a sliding mode control law based on the estimated information and sliding-mode surface is proposed to accurately track the expected voltage. We prove the stability of the closed-loop system, and simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed disturbance rejection control scheme for dynamic wireless charging systems based on the extended state observer.

Passivity-Based PI control for AGVs Wireless Power Transfer System

Automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) recently have gained increasing attentions and applications, however, frequently stopping to recharge largely reduces service efficiency. Wireless power transfer (WPT) is considered as a practice energization way to solve this problem. In this paper, a passivity-based controller (PBC) and parameter designing method for compensation topology are proposed for AGVs WPT system. The PBC based on port-controlled Hamiltonian system (PCHS) is designed to achieve desired constant systematic working power by regulating the output voltage of DC/DC converter. The LCC-LCC resonant network is analyzed in the principle of the impedance matching method, and a proportional integral (PI) controller is implemented to realize zero steady-state error. Simulation are carried out in PLECS to verify analysis, and results show that proposed controller scheme and compensation designing method ensure the stability of the charging system against load variations, and the fast response performance of the control algorithm is also validated.

Timeliness-Aware Multiple Rumor Sources Estimation in Dynamic Online Social Networks

Identifying rumor sources in online social networks (OSNs) plays a crucial role in controlling the spread of rumors and mitigating the damage caused by them. However, most studies are not suitable for identifying rumor sources in dynamic OSNs with community structures. Moreover, these studies tend to neglect the impact of timeliness on the spread of rumors, potentially leading to an overestimation of rumors' propagation ability. To overcome these limitations, this paper proposes a multiple rumor sources estimation framework for OSNs. First, a community-based dynamic network model is introduced to depict the temporal nature and community feature of OSNs. Second, a meticulously designed microcosmic SIR model, incorporating the timeliness of rumor topics, is developed to unravel the complex dynamics of rumor propagation. Then, a computationally efficient multiple rumor sources estimation algorithm is proposed. This algorithm utilizes the infection information collected by sensors and applies the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) method to identify the rumor sources. Finally, experimental results on real-world and synthetic temporal networks demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed rumor source estimation algorithm. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The scarcity of gaming platforms for Tibetan Jiu Chess is not conducive to the dissemination of Tibetan Jiu Chess culture, and even more so, it is impossible to efficiently collect Jiu Chess game data to serve scientific research. In order to solve the above problems, and considering that most of the Jiu Chess masters are herdsmen distributed in Tibetan areas, a WeChat mini-program applicable to most of the Jiu Chess players has been developed. The intelligent platform has the functions of online game and game analysis and is realized by using cloud development and real-time data push technology. In the National Tibetan Chess Competition in 2023, the online test of the platform was successfully completed. Entrusted by the organizing committee of the competition, the platform collected more than 10 games data of winning masters and completed online replay. Decentralized spatial-temporal trajectory planning for multicopter swarms

Multicopter swarms with decentralized structure possess the nature of flexibility and robustness, while efficient spatial-temporal trajectory planning still remains a challenge. This report introduces decentralized spatial-temporal trajectory planning, which puts a well-formed trajectory representation named MINCO into multi-agent scenarios. Our method ensures high-quality local planning for each agent subject to any constraint from either the coordination of the swarm or safety requirements in cluttered environments. Then, the local trajectory generation is formulated as an unconstrained optimization problem that is efficiently solved in milliseconds. Moreover, a decentralized asynchronous mechanism is designed to trigger the local planning for each agent. A systematic solution is presented with detailed descriptions of careful engineering considerations. Extensive benchmarks and indoor/outdoor experiments validate its wide applicability and high quality. Our software will be released for the reference of the community. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. Autonomous flights in dynamic environments with onboard vision

In this paper, we introduce a complete system for autonomous flight of quadrotors in dynamic environments with onboard sensing. Extended from existing work, we develop an occlusion-aware dynamic perception method based on depth images, which classifies obstacles as dynamic and static. For representing generic dynamic environment, we model dynamic objects with moving ellipsoids and fuse static ones into an occupancy grid map. To achieve dynamic avoidance, we design a planning method composed of modified kinodynamic path searching and gradient-based optimization. The method leverages manually constructed gradients without maintaining a signed distance field (SDF), making the planning procedure finished in milliseconds. We integrate the above methods into a customized quadrotor system and thoroughly test it in real-world experiments, verifying its effective collision avoidance in dynamic environments. The research on coherent direction of arrival (DOA) estimation is of great significance for high-precision DOA estimation in complex electromagnetic environments. However, existing coherent DOA estimation methods do not consider the issue of sensor failure that is prone to occur under harsh environments. In this paper, we propose a tensorial Hankel reconstruction method for coherent DOA estimation with sensor failure. Specifically, by analyzing the tensorial Hankel property of complete incoherent covariance tensor, we design the tensorial Hankel mapping rule to reconstruct a Hankel tensor from a slice of incomplete coherent covariance tensor. Meanwhile, the fiber-missing elements caused by sensor failure are dispersed to higher dimensions in the reconstruction process, ensuring the effectiveness of conventional low-rank tensor completion algorithm. Then, the completed Hankel tensor is proven to admit the canonical polyadic model, which can be decomposed to obtain DOA estimations. Simulation results confirm the advantage of the proposed tensorial Hankel reconstruction method.
