This paper presents a novel downhole power supply control system using fuzzy PID control strategy. The control system is powered by a downhole turbine generator which generates AC voltage. The output of the turbine generator is processed through a full wave bridge rectifier and filter, and then input to the phase-shifted full-bridge PWM controller. A digital signal processor TMS320F2809 is used as the main control unit of the regulator control module. In order to verify the effectiveness of this system, a fuzzy proportion integration differentiation (F-PID) controller is used to control the phase-shifted full-bridge switching power supply, and the results presented that the controller can ensure the stability for power supply. © 2012 Chinese Assoc of Automati.

As a new research field in wireless sensor network (WSN), wireless video sensor network (WVSN) makes surveillance multifunctional and intelligent, with rich and intuitive sensing information. It attracts more and more researchers' attention. We design and implement a wireless video sensor network prototype system, using WIFI as the wireless communication solution and CMOS video camera as the front-end sensor. The wireless video node adopts ARM11 based embedded platform. As back-end processing algorithm, the node realizes moving object detection. Finally, we verify the sensor network system. WIFI network can transmit video sequences smoothly. The moving object detection algorithm performs well.

This note generalizes the stability analysis for a high frequency networked control system. The high-frequency networked control system is described by a delta operator system with a high frequency constraint. Stability conditions are given for the high frequency delta operator system. Furthermore, by developing the generalized Kalman-Yakubovic-Popov lemma, improved stability conditions are also presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Some experiment results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed techniques.

This paper is concerned with the problem of stability of systems with time-varying delay in a given interval. A novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is proposed to obtain new stability conditions. Some triple integral terms are introduced in the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the information on the lower bound on the delay are sufficiently used. New delay-dependent stability criteria are derived using integral inequalities and formulated in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Comparing numerical examples show that the proposed criteria yield a larger upper bound on the delay for a given lower bound on the delay than existing results.

To investigate the influences of performance management rules on human behavior in a chemical plant workshop, we construct an artificial workshop. It mainly contains human behavior model, workshop environment model including the definition of work position performance management rules and production events, and their interaction rules. The human behavior model is built based on DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Compliance) behavior model and the Agent technology. A platform for workshop human behavior computing is finally created for computational experiments on performance management and decision-making. The platform can be used as a support for refined management in the chemical plant. © 2012 IEEE.

Special current transformer (CT) is designed to induct power from the power transmission lines for an inspection robot. Equivalent circuit is used for calculating and modelling the parameters of the current transformer. Air gap analysis is given aiming at adapting dynamic range of bar current, and calculation of the effect of air gap is provided in detail. Ratio change of current transformer is introduced by which the secondary current could be adaptive to the bus current. Simulation results show that dynamic control of length of air gap and turns of the coils could make the current transformer be adaptive to the variable bus current and be more convenient for inducing power for the power transmission lines inspection robot.

This paper considers the distributed consensus problem of multi-agent systems with general continuous-time linear time-invariant dynamics. Based on the relative output information of neighboring agents, two distributed adaptive dynamic consensus protocols are proposed, namely, the edge-based adaptive protocol which assigns a time-varying coupling weight to each edge in the communication graph and the node-based adaptive protocol which uses a time-varying coupling weight for each node. These two adaptive protocols are designed to ensure that consensus is reached in a fully distributed fashion for any undirected connected communication graphs without using any global information. A sufficient condition for the existence of these adaptive protocols is that each agent is stabilizable and detectable. The case with switching communication graphs is also studied.

Many nonlinear systems can be modeled by or converted to strict-feedback forms, whose stabilization problem without modeling uncertainties has been extensively discussed in the literature. However, in practice, inevitable modeling uncertainties, especially co-existence of parametric uncertainties and nonparametric uncertainties, will make it very difficult and challenging to achieve desirable control performance. In this background, we consider a challenging adaptive control problem, aiming at asymptotic tracking to any bounded reference signal, in the presence of periodic uncertainties of both parametric and nonparametric types, i.e., periodic time-varying parameters and periodic unknown time-delays in the uncertain nonlinearities, for a class of strict-feedback discrete-time nonlinear systems due to the lack of related research and the increasing demand of digital control in current epoch. To deal with the co-existing various uncertainties, which bring highly-nonlinear coupled effects to the closed-loop system, a novel nearest-neighbor previous instant compensation technique, combined with the lifting approach and the future states prediction, is introduced in this paper to asymptotically fully compensate the effects of uncertainties. With such elaborately constructed adaptive estimation mechanism, the developed discrete-time backstepping adaptive controller can guarantee the closed-loop stability as well as asymptotic output tracking, which have been rigorously established and testified by extensive simulations.

With the fast development of Internet and its data scale, B2B (Business to Business), whose speed and high availability advantage is based on Internet, is eroding more and more market share of traditional business. In recent years, the new data processing technologies, such as cloud computing, assure the enhancement of computer's computing capacity;it has become possible for researchers to process and analyze the massive business data, including large scale customer data, and large scale commodity information. A new B2B platform frame, based on cloud computing with less running time and better response efficiency, is proposed here to promote transaction handle efficiency. By adoption of complex network theory and cloud computing technology, the new platform has been evaluated to decrease transaction handle time, and make more benefits. © 2012 IEEE.

To enhance classification performance by making use of easily available unlabelled data to overcome the scarcity of labelled data, this paper proposes an Embedded Co-Adaboost algorithm that integrates multi-view learning into the Adaboost learning framework and at the same time leverages the advantages of Co-training algorithm for performance enhancement. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in terms of the convergence rate, the accuracy, and the steady performance as compared to the original AdaBoost algorithm, without relying on redundant and sufficient feature sets. As a algorithm application in software engineering, the Embedded Co-AdaBoost has been applied to the classification of software document relations to improve the quality of the architecture design documents and the reusability of design knowledge.
