In recent years, the rapid development of network and E-commerce technologies, promotes the development of human body big data. New technologies, such as 3D scanning and 3D printing will improve our life quality. The new socialized manufacturing network composed of IoT, advanced logistics network and 3D printers. Everyone is allowed to have chance to participate in any process of the whole production manufacturing lifecycle by some ways, such as crowdsourcing. Boosts the creation, production and consumption patterns of individuation, real-time transformation and E-commerce, possibly will lead to a new industrial revolution. In this revolutionary change wave, public concerns focus on the human body big data used for social manufacturing of wearable products or personalized medical treatment. Although many scholars have done a lot of research work, the collection of the human body shape big data still faces many challenges. There is no complete, separated theoretical research works in progress, it should be summarized and improved systematically. In this paper, we review that big data for human body shape is gaining momentum. The 3D scanning and 3D modeling of human body shape are summarized and concluded. The main applications of these big data are analyzed.

Grid-forming inverter is widely used in grid-connected systems of distributed generation because of its frequency and voltage support capacity and good stability in microgrid,but its large inertia will affect the dynamic response speed of grid-forming *** order to solve this problem,this paper introduces the loop that affects the dynamic response of grid-forming inverter,and carries out small signal modeling for active loop,analyzes the dynamic performance indicators and determinants of typical second-order ***,a method of adding power feedforward coefficient to the forward channel of the power loop is designed,and the response speed of the system with or without feedforward coefficient under the unit step response is ***,the simulation results show that adding the power feedforward coefficient can improve the response speed of the grid-forming inverter during startup and power switching,then achieves the effect of fast control.

General formation control for multi-agent systems with double-integrator dynamics

We study the general formation problem for a group of mobile agents in a plane, in which the agents are required to maintain a distribution pattern, as well as to rotate around or remain static relative to a static/moving target. The prescribed distribution pattern is a class of general formations that the distances between neighboring agents or the distances from each agent to the target do not need to be equal. Each agent is modeled as a double integrator and can merely perceive the relative information of the target and its neighbors. A distributed control law is designed using the limit-cycle based idea to solve the problem. One merit of the controller is that it can be implemented by each agent in its Frenet-Serret frame so that only local information is utilized without knowing global information. Theoretical analysis is provided of the equilibrium of the N-agent system and of the convergence of its converging part. Numerical simulations are given to show the effectiveness and performance of the proposed controller. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Fused deposition modelling (FDM) 3D printing, as a supporting technology in social manufacturing and cloud manufacturing, is a rapidly growing technology in the era of industry 4.0. It produces objects with the layer-by-layer material accumulation technique. However, qualitative uncertainties are the common challenges yet. In order to assure print quality, studying the error causing parameters and minimizing their effects is important. This paper presents a feedback-based error compensation strategy, which integrates fuzzy inference system and grey wolf optimization algorithm. The objectives are twofold. First, the possible errors in FDM 3D printing are discussed in detail and optimal error causing parameters are obtained in percentage. This is used to understand the effects of the printing errors in every phase of the 3D printing process. From the nine optimization configuration trials used, Config-6 that has 100 number of iterations and 60 wolves is selected due to its higher convergence speed and best fitness value. The integral absolute error (IAE) is used as an objective function and the global minimum is achieved in the iteration interval [86, 100]. The outputs of this optimization problem is used to achieve the next objective. Second, a closed-loop quality monitoring approach comprising of inner-loops and an outer-loop is utilized. The three inner-loops are used to monitor the errors during pre-printing, printing, and post-printing, respectively. The outer-loop, on the other hand, is responsible for monitoring the aggregated errors in all the three 3D printing phases. The error compensation system simulation in Matlab is run for 10 seconds, and the results show that the "normal" range deformation factors are reached within less than 2 seconds for the inner-loops, whereas the outer-loop deformation factor is achieved within 7 seconds. In recent years, the Information Technology develops rapidly. With the development of the Information Technology, the social manufacturing, a new mode of manufacturing, has been proposed. The social manufacturing combines the Internet technology, the three-dimensional scanning technology and the virtual reality technology, and is used in the apparel industry and other fashion industries for the mass customization. The three-dimensional scanning technology and the virtual fitting mirror technology are inseparable from the depth camera. Depth cameras play an important role in the social manufacturing. Manufacturers use depth cameras to obtain three-dimensional models of the body of customers to design suitable clothes. Customers can visually see the effect of clothes by using a virtual fitting mirror which is based on the depth camera. The social manufacturing makes mass customization possible, and the depth camera help develop the social manufacturing. This paper introduces the principles of depth cameras, and the application of depth cameras in the social manufacturing.

As a representative topic in natural language processing and automated theorem proving, geometry problem solving requires an abstract problem understanding and symbolic reasoning. A major challenge here is to find a feasible reasoning sequence that is consistent with given axioms and the theorems already proved. Most recent methods have exploited neural network-based techniques to automatically discover eligible solving steps. Such a kind of methods, however, is greatly impacted by the expert solutions for training. To improve the accuracy, this paper proposes a new method called counterfactual evolutionary reasoning, which uses a generative adversarial network to generate initial reasoning sequences and then introduces counterfactual reasoning to explore potential solutions. By directly exploring theorem candidates rather than the neural network selection, the new method can sufficiently extend the searching space to get a more appropriate reasoning step. Through comparative experiments on the recent proposed Geometry3k, the largest geometry problem solving dataset, our method generally achieves a higher accuracy than most previous methods, bringing an overall improvement about 4.4% compared with the transformer models.

Path planning and obstacle avoidance in 3D terrain have been identified as a monumental challenge for a UAV in a variety of autonomous missions, such as disaster management and search and rescue operations. In large terrain areas, it’s a key problem for traditional approaches to search within the point-cloud maps to find a global path for a UAV considering the flight safety, maneuverability, weather constraints, and fuel cost. Hence, this paper proposes a trajectory planning technique for global and local path planning of a fixed-wing UAV above 3D terrain under static and dynamic constraints. For global path generation, a novel Feature Selection and Learning-based Model (FSLM) has been introduced to select the features of a point-cloud map and transform them into the feature set. The feature set is utilized by an improved A* planner with an extensive search area to deliver an optimal global path. The global path is assumed as the UAV's reference waypoints. The motion of the UAV on reference waypoints is simplified with two coordinates (R, d), where R is the cumulative distance covered by the UAV along the reference waypoints and d is its offset distance from the reference line segment in time t. For any local collision, offset trajectories are generated along with reference waypoints to avoid collision. Cost functions have been added so that the best global and local path can be chosen, taking into account altitude, weather, and fuel constraints. The simulation results show the performance of this approach in various complex terrains by considering weather and dynamic constraints, and the results are also compared to other 3D UAV path planning techniques. © 2022, The Authors. Recently, with continuous implementation of education reform, AI (Artificial Intelligence) has been included in K-12 (Kindergarten to 12th grade) curricula and AI education is in full swing in China. However, standard, cost-efficient AI education platforms for K-12 schools are still not available. So in this paper, based on Jetson Nano, we developed a GPU-enhanced AI teaching platform including AI learning computers for students to develop AI-related algorithms and applications, AI computer clusters for whole classes, and modular auto-driving cars to run and test algorithms and applications.

Ordinal Optimization for Optimal Orientation Problems in 3D Printing

Compared with a traditional manufacturing process, 3D printing has advantages of performance and cost in personalized customization and has been applied in many fields. The problem of 3D model orientation optimization is a crucial one in practice. In this paper, based on the mathematical relationship between model orientation and printing time, surface quality, and supporting area, the model orientation problem is transformed into a multi-objective optimization problem with goal of minimizing printing time, surface quality, and supporting area. Ordinal Optimization (OO) is not only applicable to problems with random factors, but also to solve complex deterministic problems. The model orientation is a complex deterministic problem. We solve it with OO in this paper and use linear weighting to convert the multi-objective optimization problem into single-objective one. Finally, we compare the experimental results of solving 3D model orientation problems solved by OO and Genetic Algorithm (GA). The results show that OO requires less calculation time than GA while achieving comparable performance.
