Global pinning synchronization in complex networks has been extensively studied in the last decades due to its potential *** question is how to design an available controller to achieve global synchronization when the network is *** we all know,the classical PI controller is most widely and successfully used in engineering systems with nonlinear ***,the global synchronization with PI controller in general complex directed networks still remain *** this paper we will theoretically show that the global synchronization of some directed networks can also be ensured by designing an appropriate PI controller and pioneering some selected nodes,then a simple numerical example will also be given to verify our main results.

Synchronization of directed complex networks has been extensively studied in the previous two decades due to its potential applications in the real world practices. To reveal and analyze the inherent mechanism of global synchronization in the complex networks with directed topologies, this paper attempts to developing a novel synchronization approach by using algebraic connectivity and PI control protocols. First, we studied the distributed PI control for synchronization in directed strongly connected networks and obtained some sufficient conditions to guarantee the networks reach global ***, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.

Study on Influence Factors of Water Content of Expansive Soil in Canal Slope Based on Grey Correlation Model

The change of water content of expansive soil in canal slope is very unfavorable to the stability of the slope. In order to analyze the influencing factors and laws of water cut, the relationship between water content and voltage of expansive soil, the relationship between initial water content and expansion force, initial water content and disintegration of expansive soil were tested relationship. The gray correlation model was analyzed based on the vertical displacement, water content, suction, rainfall, soil temperature and temperature data collected on the site. It is preliminarily believed that the main influencing factors of the change of water content of expansive soil in the test section are temperature, rainfall, evaporation and suction. The mechanism analysis of the grey relational model is also obtained: due to the lag of the rainfall infiltration process, the atmospheric rainfall can only penetrate into the 1.6m deep strong expansive soil after 3d, and the influence depth is less than 6.1m. The research on the influencing factors of the change of water content of expansive soil provides the basis for the development of prevention and control measures for canal slope soil in the middle route of South-to-North Moisture Diversion Project and the safe management of channel operation.

With the ever-increasing volume of services registered in various web communities, it becomes a challenging task to find the web services that a target user is really interested in from the massive candidates. In this situation, Collaborative Filtering (i.e., CF) technique is introduced to alleviate the heavy burden on the service selection decisions of target users. However, present CF-based recommendation approaches often assume that the recommendation bases, i.e., historical service quality data are centralized, without considering the distributed service recommendation scenarios where data are multi-sourced. Furthermore, distributed service recommendation calls for the collaborations among multiple involved parties, during which the private information of users may be exposed. In view of these challenges, we propose a novel privacy-preserving distributed service recommendation approach based on two-phase Locality-Sensitive Hashing (LSH), named SerRectwo-LSH, in this paper. Concretely, in SerRectwo-LSH, we first look for the "similar friends" of a target user through a privacy-preserving two-phase LSH process;afterwards, we determine the services preferred by the "similar friends" of the target user, and then recommend them to the target user. Finally, through a set of experiments conducted on a real distributed service quality dataset WS-DREAM, we validate the feasibility of our proposal in terms of recommendation accuracy and efficiency while guaranteeing privacy-preservation. © 2017, Springer International Publishing AG.

An FeOx‐based Pt single‐atom catalyst(SAC),Pt1/FeOx,has stimulated significant recent interest owing to its extraordinary activity toward CO *** concept of SAC has also been successfully extended to other FeOx supported transition metal systems both experimentally and ***,the FeOx substrate itself(denoted by Fe1/FeOx following the same nomenclature of Pt1/FeOx)as a typical transition metal oxide possesses a very low catalytic activity toward CO oxidation,although it can be viewed as Fe1/FeOx ***,to understand the catalytic mechanism of FeOx‐based SACs for CO oxidation,we have performed density functional theory calculations on Pt1/FeOx and Fe1/FeOx for CO oxidation to address the differences between these two SACs in terms of the catalytic mechanism of CO oxidation and the chemical behavior of the *** calculation results indicated that the catalytic cycle of Fe1/FeOx is much more difficult to accomplish than that of SAC Pt1/FeOx because of a high activation barrier(1.09eV)for regeneration of the oxygen vacancy formed when the second CO2molecule desorbs from the ***,density of states and Bader charge analysis revealed differences in the catalytic performance for CO oxidation by the SACs Fe1/FeOx and Pt1/*** work provides insights into the fundamental interactions between the single‐atom Pt1and FeOx substrate,and the exceptional catalytic performance of this system for CO oxidation.

Unsupervised feature learning architecture with multi-clustering integration RBM

In this paper, we present a novel unsupervised feature learning architecture, which consists of a multi-clustering integration module and a variant of RBM termed multi-clustering integration RBM (MIRBM). In the multi-clustering integration module, we apply three unsupervised K-means, affinity propagation and spectral clustering algorithms to obtain three different clustering partitions (CPs) without any background knowledge or label. Then, an unanimous voting strategy is used to generate a local clustering partition (LCP). The novel MIRBM model is a core feature encoding part of the proposed unsupervised feature learning architecture. The novelty of it is that the LCP as an unsupervised guidance is integrated into one step contrastive divergence (CD1) learning to guide the distribution of the hidden layer features. For the instance in the same LCP cluster, the hidden and reconstructed hidden layer features of the MIRBM model in the proposed architecture tend to constrict together in the training process. Meanwhile, each LCP center tends to disperse from each other as much as possible in the hidden and reconstructed hidden layer during training. The experiments demonstrate that the proposed unsupervised feature learning architecture has more powerful feature representation and generalization capability than the state-of-the-art graph regularized RBM (GraphRBM) for clustering tasks in the Microsoft Research Asia Multimedia (MSRA-MM)2.0 dataset. On energy-efficient NOMA designs for heterogeneous low-latency downlink transmissions

This paper investigates energy-efficient resource allocation for the two-user downlink with strict latency constraints at users. To cope with strict latency constraints, the capacity formula of the finite blocklength codes (FBCs) is adopted, in contrast to the classical Shannon capacity formula. The FBC formula explicitly specifies the trade-off between blocklength and reliability. We first consider the case where the transmitter uses super-position coding based non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). However, due to heterogeneous latency constraints and channel conditions at users, the conventional successive interference cancellation may be infeasible. We thus propose to use different interference mitigation schemes according to heterogeneous user conditions and solve the corresponding NOMA design problems. Though the target energy function is non-convex and implicit, optimal user blocklength and power allocation can still be identified for the considered NOMA schemes and checking the problem feasibility is simple. It is observed that when the latency requirements are more heterogeneous, the NOMA scheme cannot achieve the best energy-efficiency of the downlink. In view of this, a hybrid transmission scheme which includes time division multiple access (TDMA) and NOMA as special cases is considered. Although the energy minimization is even challenging than the pure NOMA design problem, we propose a concave approximation of the FBC capacity formula which allows to obtain computationally efficient and high-quality solutions. Simulation results show that the hybrid scheme can benefits from both NOMA and TDMA. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Cloud has become a very popular infrastructure for many smart city applications. A growing number of smart city applications from all over the world are deployed on the clouds. However, node failure events from the cloud data center have negative impact on the performance of smart city applications. Survivable virtual machine placement has been proposed by the researchers to enhance the service reliability. Because of the ignorance of switch failure, current survivable virtual machine placement approaches cannot achieve the best effect. In this paper, we study to enhance the service reliability by designing a novel network failure–aware redundant virtual machine placement approach in a cloud data center. Firstly, we formulate the network failure–aware redundant virtual machine placement problem as an integer nonlinear programming problem and prove that the problem is NP-hard. Secondly, we propose a heuristic algorithm to solve the problem. Finally, extensive simulation results show the effectiveness of our algorithm. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

With the rapid development of the internet, applications of recommendation systems for online shops and entertainment platforms become more and more popular. In order to improve the effectiveness of recommendation, external information has been incorporated into various algorithms, such as location and social relationship. However, most algorithms only focus on the introduction of external information without depth analysis of the intrinsic mechanism in the external information. This paper proposed a transfer model of social trusted relationship, and optimized the reliability of the transfer model using pruning algorithm based on original trust recommendation. A credible social relationship macro-transfer model based on iterations of new credible relationships is defined by the similarity of social relationships. With a certain interest topic as a source of information, a micro-transfer model achieves the theme of interest and credibility of the expansion using social information dissemination algorithm. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the macro and micro credible transfer models, we used the Mantra search tree pruning algorithm and the optimization algorithm of similar category replacing similar products. The experimental results show that the proposed method based on the macroscopic and microscopic transfer models of the trusted relationship enhances the success rate and stability of the recommended system.

Sentiment analysis in tourism domain has drawn much attention in past few years, which calls for more precise sentiment word embedding method. The article proposes a kernel optimization function for sentiment word embedding. And the method aims at integrating the semantic information, statistics information and sentiment information and maintains the similarity between sentiment words in terms of sentiment orientation. The experiment result shows that the optimal sentiment vectors successfully extract the features in terms of sentiment information and the difference between concretization and abstraction of a sentiment words.
