With the fast development of Internet and data volume increase in Internet, Internet is playing more important role in information spreading in recent years. It is reported that social network is a typical complex network expressed with scale free degree. Emergency cases are happening more and more often in China and all over the world, the governments has realized that it is necessary to monitor and manage the information spreading on social network. In this paper, a new experiment platform frame, which is based on SPA (Spreading Activation) model and social centrality, is proposed to validate the information spreading speed in social network, to help the administration department to manage social network more efficiently.

This paper aims to address the robust control problem of rigid spacecraft attitude maneuvers in the presence of inertia matrix uncertainty and external disturbance. A back-stepping based adaptive sliding mode control (B-ASMC) design is proposed as a solution, where the upper bounds of the parametric uncertainty and disturbance are not required in advance. Compared to current adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) design, the B-ASMC design has two advantages. Theoretically, the asymptotical stability of the attitude states rather than the sliding function is guaranteed. Practically, the over-adaptation problem in current ASMC design is alleviated and the system performance is improved. Detailed design principle and rigorous closed-loop system stability analysis are provided. A large angle attitude maneuver is employed in the numerical simulation to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

This paper aims to present an improved adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) design for rigid spacecraft attitude maneuvers. An adaptive scheme is proposed for the switching gain calculation when the upper bound of the system uncertainty is unknown in advance. Unlike existing ASMC design, which may result in an over-adaptation of the upper bound when the initial system trajectory is located far from the sliding surface, this paper presents a novel ASMC strategy by introducing a decay term in the sliding function to reduce or eliminate the unrelated factor in the adaptation scheme. Consequently, a lower-chattering control signal is achieved. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

Evacuees' behaviors have a significant impact on evacuation efficiency. Evacuation clearance time is one of the key indicators in the evacuation planning and management. Evacuees' departure time choice, destination choice and route choice behavior based on real-time traffic information are three crucial factors used to estimate evacuation clearance time. In this paper, we use the orthogonal experimental design method to determine values of these three factors simultaneously, which can reduce evacuation clearance time significantly. Once we obtain these values, we can guide evacuees' departure time choice, destination choice and route choice behavior to approximate these values and evacuation efficiency will improve greatly. The dynamic traffic evacuation process is modeled using a rule-based multi-agent microscopic traffic simulation system called TransWorld. The simulation experiment results illustrate the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed method. The proposed methodology, computational results and discussions can be used for future emergency evacuation planning and management.

Agent-based evacuation modeling approach is gained more and more attention for investigating human cognitive capabilities and social behaviors in building fires. This paper mainly overviews the research about various agent-based evacuation models. For the decision-making reflects the intelligence of agent individual, we define three types of behavior decision-making models for agent individual based on the collected literatures and sum up the characteristics of each type. Aiming at crowd' important influence on evacuation processes, we also sum up two types of agent-based crowd modeling approaches to simulate crowd evacuation processes and give corresponding cases. Finally, after summing up the existing problems, the outlooks of the research from computational experiments point of view is proposed.

As a new research field in wireless sensor network (WSN), wireless video sensor network (WVSN) makes surveillance multifunctional and intelligent, with rich and intuitive sensing information. It attracts more and more researchers' attention. We design and implement a wireless video sensor network prototype system, using WIFI as the wireless communication solution and CMOS video camera as the front-end sensor. The wireless video node adopts ARM11 based embedded platform. As back-end processing algorithm, the node realizes moving object detection. Finally, we verify the sensor network system. WIFI network can transmit video sequences smoothly. The moving object detection algorithm performs well.

From the view of combination of stereo vision and robot control, an active stereo vision for object tracking and location system is built to work on flexible manufacturing system. A method based on local HSV image and shape of object to recognize object is used for robot tracking. After the color segment, use the knowledge of shape of objects to recognize objects. And a technique for camera calibration based on plane square is proposed. It only requires the camera to observe a square at two (or more) different unknown orientations. Use the result of object recognize and camera calibration the robot can position and track the object. At the last of the paper, the results of object tracking experiments prove that the method is correct.

Food safety events are typical public security events that draw great public concern. In food safety events, millions of netizens pay close attention to the event, express their opinions online and thus influence the decisions of government or food producers. Modeling netizen groups, especially the dynamics of their opinions in these events, can help us understand the mechanism and evolvement of such events and provide valuable insights for social management. However, conventional computational models, such as agent-based models, are usually constructed manually. In this paper, we propose an approach to acquiring netizen group's opinions from online comments to facilitate the modeling of food safety events. We conduct experimental study on typical events happened in China and empirically evaluate the performance of our proposed approach. The results verify the effectiveness of the approach.

Opinion mining has gained increasing attention and shown great practical value in recent years. Existing research on opinion mining mainly focuses on the extraction of lexicon orientation and opinion targets. The explanations of opinions, which are potentially valuable for many applications, are totally ignored. To address this specific research challenge, in this paper, we propose an approach to extract the explanation of reason and/or consequence behind an opinion via learning word pairs and using causal indicators from Chinese online reviews. We also improve our word pair based method by constructing clusters of word paris. Experiments on a Chinese business review corpus show that our method is feasible and effective.
