Photoresist coating technology is an important part of the surface treatment of semiconductor wafers. The presence of bubbles in photoresist can seriously affect the quality of wafers, however, the lack of sufficient bubble samples makes intelligent automatic detection techniques impossible. To solve such a problem, we propose B-GAN based on adversarial generative network, and design a mapping network for potential encoding mapping and a synthetic network for high-quality bubble image generation, so that defective bubble samples can be automatically generated. Experiments prove that our method achieves excellent results. © 2023 IEEE.

Welding technology plays an indispensable role in ship construction, and its maturity has a direct impact on the quality of shipbuilding. The weld seam, being the weakest part of a welded structure, significantly affects the structural strength, service life, and safety reliability of ships. However, the current identification of weld defects in the ship industry relies on manual methods, which are subjective and prone to error. To address this issue, this paper presents a novel approach by collecting weld images from actual ship scenes, preprocessing them to eliminate noise and highlight defect features, and proposing a Transformer-based improved target detection model (T-OBJDETC) to enhance the recognition accuracy of the model. © 2023 IEEE.

Given the dual robots play a key role for collaborative work. In this paper, an improved method is proposed to find the kinematic positive solution based on its D-H parameters, model the dual SCARA robot in MATLAB environment, and solve the collaborative workspace point cloud map by Monte Carlo method. The proposed method extracts and plots the boundary curves of the collaboration space by improved the α-Shapes algorithm, and obtains the shape of the common region of the collaboration space of the dual SCARA robots and the limit position parameters in the collaboration space. It provides a theoretical basis for the research of path planning, trajectory planning, dynamics analysis, mechanism parameter optimization, self-avoidance, and anti-collision problems of the dual-robot collaborative system.

This paper presents a novel underactuated coupled adaptive hand exoskeleton, called UCAS-Hand, which is designed to assist users with weak muscle strength to complete the operation of daily living items. In mechanical design, the proposed UCAS-Hand considers the human-robot kinematic compatibility, grasping adaptability for different objects, portability with motors attached to the hand, force transfer efficiency with applying normal force to the finger phalanges, and passive backdrivability with low gear reduction ratio motor. The UCAS-Hand can realize finger underactuated motions such as flexion/extension and thumb underactuated motions such as flexion/extension, abduction/adduction, and thumb opposability. To minimize the backlashes of bevel gear transmission, a spherical four-bar mechanism and a spherical seven-bar mechanism are designed for the index finger and thumb mechanisms, respectively. Finally, the experiment is implemented to reveal the characteristics of the UCAS-Hand. © 2021 IEEE.

Sequential fusion estimation for multisensor systems with non-Gaussian noises

The sequential fusion estimation for multisensor systems disturbed by non-Gaussian but heavytailed noises is studied in this paper. Based on multivariate t-distribution and the approximate t-filter,the sequential fusion algorithm is presented. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed and compared with the t-filter-based centralized batch fusion and the Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal centralized fusion. Theoretical analysis and exhaustive experimental analysis show that the proposed algorithm is effective. As the generalization of the classical Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal sequential fusion algorithm, the presented algorithm is shown to be superior to the Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal centralized batch fusion and the optimal sequential fusion in estimation of dynamic systems with non-Gaussian noises.

Mean square stability for Markov jump Boolean networks

In this paper, one of the stability definitions of Markov jump Boolean networks(MJBNs), called mean square stability(MSS), is investigated. Some necessary and sufficient conditions are presented to guarantee the MSS of such MJBNs. Moreover, one of the necessary and sufficient conditions for MSS is obtained in terms of linear programming, which implies that MSS is equivalent to global stability with probability 1 for MJBNs. Furthermore, the construction of Lyapunov function is given and also another theorem based on the Lyapunov function is derived to ensure the MSS of MJBNs. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the profits of our results.

Large Language Models (LLMs) are increasingly integrated into diverse industries, posing substantial security risks due to unauthorized replication and misuse. To mitigate these concerns, robust identification mechanisms are widely acknowledged as an effective strategy. Identification systems for LLMs now rely heavily on watermarking technology to manage and protect intellectual property and ensure data security. However, previous studies have primarily concentrated on the basic principles of algorithms and lacked a comprehensive analysis of watermarking theory and practice from the perspective of intelligent identification. To bridge this gap, firstly, we explore how a robust identity recognition system can be effectively implemented and managed within LLMs by various participants using watermarking technology. Secondly, we propose a mathematical framework based on mutual information theory, which systematizes the identification process to achieve more precise and customized watermarking. Additionally, we present a comprehensive evaluation of performance metrics for LLM watermarking, reflecting participant preferences and advancing discussions on its identification applications. Lastly, we outline the existing challenges in current watermarking technologies and theoretical frameworks, and provide directional guidance to address these challenges. Our systematic classification and detailed exposition aim to enhance the comparison and evaluation of various methods, fostering further research and development toward a transparent, secure, and equitable LLM ecosystem. Path planning is one of the most critical links in mobile robots. Its timeliness, security and accessibility are crucial to the development and wide application of mobile robots. However, in solving the problem of path planning, the most popular A* algorithm has some problems, such as heuristic function cannot be estimated accurately, node redundancy, path is not smooth, and obstacle avoidance cannot be achieved in real time. To solve these problems, A fusion algorithm of improved A* combined with reverse path and dynamic window method (DWA-IMP-A*) was proposed. The algorithm refines the heuristic function by incorporating the reverse path. The node optimization algorithm is used to further reduce the path length. The generated trajectories are smoothed by cubic spline interpolation. At the same time, it is integrated with the improved DWA algorithm to improve the efficiency and safety of robot path planning. The algorithm takes ROS mobile robot as the carrier and is tested under typical road conditions. Compared with A* algorithm, the planning time is reduced by 54.6% and the path length is reduced by 6.37%. Experimental results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the algorithm. The research results have certain reference significance for the path planning of various types of mobile robots and the research of driverless vehicles.

The electric unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are rapidly growing due to their abilities to perform some difficult or dangerous tasks as well as many public services including real-time monitoring, wireless coverage, search and rescue, wildlife surveys, and precision agriculture. However, the electrochemical power supply system of UAV is a critical issue in terms of its energy/power densities and lifetime for service endurance. In this paper, the current power supply systems used in UAVs are comprehensively reviewed and analyzed on the existing power configurations and the energy management systems. It is identified that a single type of electrochemical power source is not enough to support a UAV to achieve a long-haul flight;hence, a hybrid power system architecture is necessary. To make use of the advantages of each type of power source to increase the endurance and achieve good performance of the UAVs, the hybrid systems containing two or three types of power sources (fuel cell,battery, solar cell, and supercapacitor,) have to be developed. In this regard, the selection of an appropriate hybrid power structure with the optimized energy management system is critical for the efficient operation of a UAV. It is found that the data-driven models with artificial intelligence (AI) are promising in intelligent energy management. This paper can provide insights and guidelines for future research and development into the design and fabrication of the advanced UAV power systems.
