Intelligent logistics with autonomous vehicles is promising to improve the efficiency of rapidly expanding delivery systems. However, complex environments, diverse packages, and irregular human interaction have imposed challenges to the application of unmanned delivery vehicles. Combining various forms of vehicles and developing knowledge-driven delivery services have been the key to further facilitating the upgrading of logistics systems. In this paper, we propose an integrated framework named LogisticsVISTA (Logistics on Vehicles with Intelligent systems for Transport Automation) comprised of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles), and USVs (Unmanned Surface Vehicles) to provide timely and flexible 3D delivery services. In LogisticsVISTA, we design Large language models (LLMs) and large multimodal models (LMMs) for task planning, active perception, autonomous decision, and human-machine interaction. Besides, virtual-real integrated parallel scenarios are constructed to provide the playing ground for embodied agents efficiently and flexibly.

Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) envisages a sustainable, safe, convenient, and affordable air transport system. In socio-technical transition of AAM, there are a number of trade-offs in ecosystem that need to be studied. Three perspectives on economic feasibility are explored: first, based on history of VTOL services and value of time estimates, we discuss whether AAM can provide customers with competitive mobility services; second, what are the stakeholders’ insights on the deployment of AAM; last, the experience in the development of autonomous driving technology, such as parallel intelligence, can inform future AAM research.

In order to make up for the shortcomings of a single inertial sensor,which is easily disturbed and unable to directly describe the periodic characteristics of gait,a novel gait events detection algorithm is proposed which is based on the invariant characteristics of hip joint *** healthy volunteers conducted a walking experiment over the ground,who were equipped with motion capture device and insole with *** hip angle derived from motion capture device were applied to detect gait events,heel stride(HS) and toe off(TO).And the gait events detected by ground reactor force(GRF) were taken as the reference *** mean absolute difference of HS is 28±42 ms,and the mean absolute difference of TO is 27 ± 43 ms. And the confidence levels of the two gait events are 97.5% and 99.2%,*** results demonstrate that the proposed gait events detection algorithm is reliability and has potential clinical application value.

The railway system is a complex system because of many constraints, randomness and high security requirements, so it is difficult to establish an accurate mathematical model for it, which brings great challenges to railway scheduling. Parallel intelligence theory can effectively solve the modeling, analysis and control of complex systems, so it has a wide range of applications in the field of intelligent transportation. In this paper, we build an artificial system according to the actual system, and use the surrogate modelling to carry out the calculation experiments, and proposed a parallel scheduling system based on the parallel intelligence method. Select a case to design scenario and perform computational experiment, the scheduling strategy is given and the scheduling strategy is analyzed. © 2021 IEEE.

Knowledge graphs(KGs)have been widely accepted as powerful tools for modeling the complex relationships between concepts and developing knowledge-based *** recent years,researchers in the field of power systems have explored KGs to develop intelligent dispatching systems for increasingly large power *** multiple power grid dispatching knowledge graphs(PDKGs)constructed by different agencies,the knowledge fusion of different PDKGs is useful for providing more accurate decision *** achieve this,entity alignment that aims at connecting different KGs by identifying equivalent entities is a critical *** entity alignment methods cannot integrate useful structural,attribute,and relational information while calculating entities’similarities and are prone to making many-to-one alignments,thus can hardly achieve the best *** address these issues,this paper proposes a collective entity alignment model that integrates three kinds of available information and makes collective counterpart *** model proposes a novel knowledge graph attention network(KGAT)to learn the embeddings of entities and relations explicitly and calculates entities’similarities by adaptively incorporating the structural,attribute,and relational ***,we formulate the counterpart assignment task as an integer programming(IP)problem to obtain one-to-one *** not only conduct experiments on a pair of PDKGs but also evaluate o ur model on three commonly used cross-lingual *** comparisons indicate that our model outperforms other methods and provides an effective tool for the knowledge fusion of PDKGs.

The problem of traffic signal control is essential but remains unsolved. Some researchers use online reinforcement learning, including the off-policy one, to derive an optimal control policy through interaction between agents and environments in simulation. However, it is difficult to deploy the policy in real transportation systems due to the gap between simulated and real traffic data. In this paper, we consider an offline reinforcement learning method to tackle the problem. First, we construct a realistic traffic environment and obtain offline data based on a classic actuated traffic signal controller. Then, we use an offline reinforcement learning algorithm, namely conservative Q-learning, to learn an efficient control policy via offline datasets. We conduct experiments on a typical road intersection and compare the conservative Q-learning policy with the actuated policy and two data-driven policies based on off-policy reinforcement learning and imitation learning. Empirical results indicate that in the offline-learning setting the conservative Q-learning policy performs significantly better than other baselines, including the actuated policy, but the other two data-driven policies perform poorly in test scenarios. © 2021 IEEE

Visual cognitive ability is important for intelligent robots in unstructured and dynamic environments. The high reliance on large amounts of data prevents prior methods to handle this task. Therefore, we propose a model called knowledge-experience fusion graph (KEFG) network for novel inference. It exploits information from both knowledge and experience. With the employment of graph convolutional network (GCN), KEFG generates the predictive classifiers of the novel classes with few labeled samples. Experiments show that KEFG can decrease the training time by the fusion of the source information and also increase the classification accuracy in cross-task learning. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) have been gaining popularity in recent years due to their promise of realizing the decentralized Web 3.0. However, most DAOs rely heavily on token-centric value systems as well as allocate decision-making authority and yield-sharing rights according to the held tokens, which often lead to monopolization of power and rights. To address this issue, this paper contributes to propose a truly democratic organization model, named True Autonomous Organizations and Operations (TAOs), that does not count upon tokens and is guided by principles of contribution-based and on-demand allocation. We first discuss the design of TAOs, including their infrastructures, power structures, and value systems, and then provide a technical roadmap for implementing TAOs in the DeSci context. This research can provide a valuable guidance for the construction and application of TAOs.

This paper presents management-Oriented Operating systems (M2OS) that leverages the power of parallel intelligence theory, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) and foundation models to revolutionize the manner of management in Cyber-Physical-Social systems (CPSS). The parallel architecture on M2OS is proposed, including the parallel interactive actual M2OS and artificial M2OS. Among them, the artificial M2OSs provide digital infrastructures for organizations to operate, collaborate, and make decisions in the virtual space, and conduct computational experiments to evaluate management decisions and predict future states of the actual M2OS. Through parallel execution and closed-loop feedback between the artificial and actual M2OSs, the management and control, experimentation and evaluation, as well as learning and training of the actual M2OS can be realized. Moreover, the functional layers of M2OS, including the infrastructure layer, data layer, scenario layer, modeling layer, decision layer, and application layer, are discussed. These layers work together to support the intelligent, autonomous, collaborative, and adaptive nature of the M2OS, and facilitate data-driven decision-making, optimize business operations, and empower managers with real-time actionable insights. The proposed M2OS paradigm has great potential to transform the management paradigm and opens up new possibilities for intelligent and collaborative decision-making.

Robotic intra-operative ultrasound has the potential to improve the conventional practice of diagnosis and procedure guidance that are currently performed *** towards automatic or semi-automatic ultrasound,being able to define ultrasound views and the corresponding probe poses via intelligent approaches become *** on the concept of parallel system which incorporates the ingredients of artificial systems,computational experiments,and parallel execution,this paper utilized a recent developed robotic trans-esophageal ultrasound system as the study object to explore the method for developing the corresponding virtual environments and present the potential applications of such *** proposed virtual system includes the use of 3 D slicer as the main workspace and graphic user interface(GUI),Matlab engine to provide robotic control algorithms and customized functions,and PLUS(Public software Library for Ultra Sound imaging research)toolkit to generate simulated ultrasound *** implementation methods were presented and the proposed features of the system were *** on this virtual system,example uses and case studies were presented to demonstrate its capabilities when used together with the physical TEE *** includes standard view definition and customized view optimization for pre-planning and navigation,as well as robotic control algorithm evaluations to facilitate real-time automatic probe pose *** conclude,the proposed virtual system would be a powerful tool to facilitate the further developments and clinical uses of the robotic intra-operative ultrasound systems.
