Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have shown remarkable advantages in a wide range of domains at the expense of huge parameters and computations. Modern CNNs still tend to be more complex and larger to achieve better inference accuracy. However, the complex and large structures of CNNs could slow down the inference speed. Recently, Compressing the convolutional weights to be sparse by pruning the unimportant parameters has been demonstrated as an efficient way to reduce the computations of CNNs. On the other hand, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) have been a popular hardware platform to accelerate CNN inference. In this paper, we propose an algorithm/hardware co-optimized method for accelerating CNN inference on FPGAs. For the algorithm, we take advantage of unstructured and structured parameter sparsifying methods to achieve high sparsity and keep the regularity of convolutional weights. Correspondingly, hardware-friendly index representations of sparse convolutional weights are proposed. For the hardware architecture, we propose row-wise input-stationary dataflow, which is tightly coupled with the algorithm. A row-wise computing engine (RConv Engine) is proposed, which is based on the dataflow. Inside the RConv Engine, the scalar-vector structure is applied to implement the basic processing elements (PEs). To flexibly calculate the feature map with various sizes, the PEs are organized in a 2D structure with two work modes. The experimental results demonstrate that our co-optimized method implements high sparsity of convolutional weights, and the computing engine achieves high computation efficiency. Compared with other accelerators, our co-optimized method implements a 10.9 (Formula presented.) speedup on FPS at most with the highest sparsity of convolutional weights and negligible accuracy loss. © 2024 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

Dynamic graph link prediction is widely utilized in the complex web of the real world, such as social networks, citation networks, recommendation systems, etc. Recent Transformer-based link prediction methods on dynamic graphs not only fail to model the fine-grained structures such as triangles with the vanilla Transformers in the graph serialization process, but also amplify the imbalanced distribution of graphs because of their over-estimation of high-degree nodes. To tackle these issues, we propose a Topology-aware Transformer on Dynamic Graph (TopDyG) for link prediction, consisting of a topology injected Transformer (Ti-Transformer) and a mutual information learning (Mi-Learning). The Ti-Transformer explores the explicit structure of serialized graphs, capturing the topological features. The Mi-Learning mines the relationship between nodes by modeling the mutual information with a prior knowledge, alleviating the over-estimation of high-degree nodes when applying the Transformer-based models for the dynamic graph link prediction task. Extensive experiments on four public datasets containing both transductive and inductive settings present the superiority of our proposal. In particular, TopDyG presents an improvement of 43.27% and 28.75% against the state-of-the-art baselines in terms of NDCG and Jaccard, respectively. The advantages are especially obvious on the high-density graphs. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

For Internet forum Points of Interest(PoI),existing analysis methods are usually lack of usability analysis under different conditions and ignore the long-term variation,which lead to blindness in method *** address this problem,this paper proposed a PoI variation prediction framework based on similarity analysis between long and short *** on the framework,this paper presented 5 PoI analysis algorithms which can be categorized into 2 types,i.e.,the traditional sequence analysis methods such as autoregressive integrated moving average model(ARIMA),support vector regressor(SVR),and the deep learning methods such as convolutional neural network(CNN),long-short term memory network(LSTM),Transformer(TRM).Specifically,this paper firstly divides observed data into long and short windows,and extracts key words as PoI of each ***,the PoI similarities between long and short windows are calculated for training and ***,series of experiments is conducted based on real Internet forum *** results show that,all the 5 algorithms could predict PoI variations well,which indicate effectiveness of the proposed *** the length of long window is small,traditional methods perform better,and SVR is the *** the contrary,the deep learning methods show superiority,and LSTM performs *** results could provide beneficial references for PoI variation analysis and prediction algorithms selection under different parameter configurations.

Eavesdropping attacks have seriously threatened network security. Attackers could eavesdrop on target nodes and link to steal confidential data. In the traditional network architecture, the static routing path and the important nodes determined by the nature of network topology provide a great convenience for eavesdropping attacks. To resist monitoring attacks, this paper proposes a random routing mutation defense method based on dynamic path weight (DPW-RRM). It utilizes network centrality indicators to determine important nodes in the network topology and reduces the probability of important nodes in path selection, thereby distributing traffic to multiple communication paths, achieving the purpose of increasing the difficulty and cost of eavesdropping attacks. In addition, it dynamically adjusts the weight of the routing path through network state constraints to avoid link congestion and improve the availability of routing mutation. Experimental data shows that DPW-RRM could not only guarantee the normal algorithmic overhead, communication delay, and CPU load of the network, but also effectively resist eavesdropping attacks. Binary function naming is a code analysis task that generates functional descriptions of functions, and its results can be applied in the fields of malicious code analysis, vulnerability causation analysis, and algorithm governance. Aiming at the shortcomings of the pseudocode abstract syntax tree being difficult to extract and the binary function naming scheme having low accuracy rate, a binary function naming prediction model A2N based on variable alignment and sequence translation model is proposed. First, A2N extracts the function variable features of binary files from debugging information and performs variable alignment with the pseudocode obtained from decompiling;then, it obtains the hierarchical structure of the binary functions and designs the node extraction rules to generate an abstract syntax tree AST for each function;then, extract the paths between the leaf nodes of the AST and serialize the tree structure to represent it;finally, with the help of the neural network translation model, establish a mapping between the AST and the binary function names to realize the prediction function. The experimental results show that compared with Dire, Nero and XFL models, the F1 value of A2N is improved by 84%, 44% and 14% on file-level isolation experiments respectively, and the F1 value reaches 80.94% on function-level isolation experiments. © 2023 ACM.

Sleep is a very important physiological process for humans, and sleep staging is an important basis for evaluating sleep quality and diagnosing sleep-related diseases. Manual sleep staging is time-consuming and laborious, and the staging results are easily affected by subjective factors. Therefore, the research on automatic sleep staging models has extremely high research value and clinical application value. This paper proposes a sleep staging method based on multi-scale one-dimensional convolutional neural network and self-attention mechanism. The attention mechanism mines the channel correlation and temporal correlation of different channels respectively. This paper selects the sleep data of 153 normal subjects in the public dataset Sleep-EDF for model training and testing. The average staging accuracy rate was 84.5%, and the consistency test value was 0.781, which was better than the consistency test value of 0.75 for the inter-physician score. The experimental results show that the algorithm model in this paper has a high staging effect, can make full use of sleep data, and has important research significance for assisting clinicians in rapid sleep staging. © 2023 SPIE.

In this study,the separation and coalescence of oil-in-water emulsions are explored in an ultrasonic field using the lattice Boltzmann *** simulating the propagation of ultrasonic waves,this study focuses on examining the effects of acoustic wave frequency,the ratio of oil to water components,and the aspect ratio of the boundary on the emulsification and separation processes of oil-water *** following conclusions are drawn.①Frequency affects the speed of oil droplet separation,leading to an increase in droplet size over *** droplets are found near the source,while smaller droplets are distributed throughout the wave web.②As the boundary aspect ratio increases,the emulsification efficiency of the droplets weakens,and the system takes longer to stabilize.③Emulsions with a higher component of oil can better resist acoustic waves.④At the same acoustic frequency,longer wavelength ultrasonic fields promote the formation of uniformly distributed,smaller oil droplets,which is beneficial to the storage of *** numerical simulation results offer insights for optimizing conditions for oil-in-water separation and serve as a numerical reference for the study of oil-in-water emulsion separation in ultrasonic environments.
