Deniable encryption (DE) allows private communication over an insecure channel even under the coercion. That is, after an adversary forces communication participants to reveal their secret keys and randomness used during the communication, the message confidentiality can still be preserved. Since its introduction, a large body of studies have been made to improve the DE system in terms of efficiency, security definition and functionality, which is the focus of this paper. However, as far as we know, none of existing DE systems considers the abuse of deniability caused by malicious users, which is a crucial feature from the view of practical applications of DE. For instance, a malicious user (e.g., an employee who holds some sensitive documents and intends to sell these confidential contents for obtaining financial gain) can utilize a DE system to transmit the confidential content without the risk of being caught, which is extremely dangerous to the interests and security of his/her organization. In this paper, to mitigate this threat, we formally define the syntax and security notions of abuse-resistant deniable encryption, which restricts what users can deny. Then, we put forward a concrete construction of abuse-resistant DE scheme, and prove its security under the assumptions of indistinguishability obfuscation and oneway function. Compared with other related work, the proposed construction has advantages in terms of functionality and ciphertext rate simultaneously. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Boronizing of nickel based superalloys is of great interests in aerospace industry due to the excellent wear resistance, however, little information has been known on its phase formation and load-dependent wear mechanism. In this work, high quality boronized layer was developed on the Inconel 718 alloy by powder pack-boriding process at 850 °C for 6 h under argon atmosphere. The microstructure characteristics and load-dependent tribological behaviors of the boronized layers were systematically investigate. It is found that the main boronized layer on Inconel 718 alloy consists of a ~11.3 um thick compound layer with nanocrystalline (Ni,Fe)23B6 and (Cr,Fe)B grains, and a ~10.9 um thick diffusion layer with dendritic Cr2B precipitation within the matrix. The phase evolution of the boronizing layer are explainable by thermodynamic modeling of Ni-Cr-B system and the phase stability for metastable Ni-B compounds is confirmed by DFT simulation. Due to the good interfacial bonding strength and high microhardness value, the boronized layer displays excellent wear resistance against Si3N4 ceramic balls at room temperature. In particular, the wear rates of the specimens under applied loads of 10-20 N are higher than those in the 50-100 N loads case. The latter is mainly facilitated by the formation of lubricating boron oxide tribolayer on friction ball surface. We believe the findings in present work will contribute to a deeper understanding of the boronizing treatment in nickel-based superalloys. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Multi-sensor fusion for 3D object detection is a crucial development in autonomous vehicle technology. Current research primarily explores the combination of monocular cameras with LiDARs. However, there is a notable gap in the integration of stereo cameras with LiDARs. A significant drawback of the fusion between monocular cameras and LiDARs is its vulnerability to sensor failures, which can completely disable the system. This paper presents a novel end-to-end framework called SLBEVFusion, which leverages the effective combination of stereo cameras and LiDARs for 3D object detection. The framework utilizes the rich semantic and depth data from stereo images along with spatial data from LiDAR point clouds to improve detection accuracy. Moreover, it addresses sensor failures by isolating the data streams of each sensor and implementing straightforward feature fusion in Bird's Eye View (BEV) space. Comprehensive testing on the challenging KITTI dataset demonstrates that our approach significantly enhances performance in 3D object detection by merging stereo cameras with LiDARs. © 2024, The Authors. Organocatalytic synthesis of chiral allene can be successfully achieved through the reaction between propargylic alcohol and 3-phenylindole catalyzed by chiral phosphoric acid with high yield and high enantioselectivity. The detailed reaction mechanism and origin of enantioselectivity were uncovered by quantum mechanical calculations. The results indicate that the reactions undergo the dehydration process, the C–C bonding reaction, the hydrogen abstraction and the regeneration of catalyst. Eight possible pathways were found and the most favorable reaction paths leading to the major and minor products were evaluated which were consistent with the experimental results. The distortion/interaction analyses of the transition states in enantioselectivity-determining steps confirm the most favorable pathway in leading the major product. QTAIM and IGM analyses are used to illustrate the role of intermolecular interactions. This work would provide insightful viewpoints on the asymmetric organocatalytic reaction by chiral phosphoric acid. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this paper, we explore the low-complexity optimal bilinear equalizer (OBE) combining scheme design for cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output networks with spatially correlated Rician fading *** provide a spectral efficiency (SE) performance analysis framework for both the centralized and distributed processing schemes with bilinear equalizer (BE)-structure combining schemes applied. The BE-structured combining is a set of schemes that are constructed by the multiplications of channel statistics-based BE matrices and instantaneous channel estimates. Notably, we derive closed-form achievable SE expressions for centralized and distributed BE-structured combining schemes. We propose one centralized and two distributed OBE schemes: Centralized OBE (C-OBE), Distributed OBE based on Global channel statistics (DG-OBE), and Distributed OBE based on Local channel statistics (DL-OBE), which maximize their respective SE expressions. OBE matrices in these schemes are tailored based on varying levels of channel statistics. Notably, we obtain new and insightful closed-form results for the C-OBE, DG-OBE, and DL-OBE combining schemes. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed OBE schemes can achieve excellent SE, even in scenarios with severe pilot contamination. © 2025 IEEE. All rights reserved.

This paper proposes a sub-channel image reconstruction algorithm based on Delaunay triangle. First, according to the different sensitivity of the human eye to the three color channels, different channels are used to avoid the influence of watermark embedding on pixels around the feature points. Then, feature points should be selected on the selected channel to make them have sufficient robustness. At this time, the location of the feature points extracted on the corresponding channel can be used as the watermark embedding position. Finally, considering the influence of geometric attacks such as affine transformation, this paper proposes a reconstruction algorithm based on Delaunay triangle, which uses feature point information to reconstruct the image before the watermark extraction, and extract the watermark on the reconstructed image. This paper proposes a robust watermarking algorithm based on dual watermarking and robust affine transformation. First, the color image is divided into three channels, feature point extraction, watermark embedding, and location watermark extraction will be performed respectively. Feature points are used for image reconstruction when extracting watermarks. The watermark embedding needs to select a square area not at the edge of the image as the watermark embedding position, and then embed the watermark in the frequency domain of the corresponding area. According to the watermark embedding position, extract the zero watermark in another channel as the location watermark. Because the zero watermark does not modify the original image information, it has good robustness and can assist the attacked image to locate the watermark embedding position. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

As the intelligent transportation system develops by leaps and bounds, there is an increasing interest in the potential of Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) to enhance traffic efficiency and safety. The Conditional Privacy-Preserving Authentication (CPPA) scheme, which is suitable for solving anonymous authentication and message integrity during the communication, has been extensively studied to build the first line of defense for a secure VANET system. However, most existing Identitybased CPPA schemes rely on Tamper-Proof Devices (TPDs), which are susceptible to side-channel attacks. If the sensitive parameters stored in TPDs are compromised, the system could be completely ruined. In order to address this issue, Xiong et al. introduced a CPPA scheme with double-insurance, which was claimed to be secure against adaptively chosen message attacks. Unfortunately, we show in this paper that the scheme is universally forgeable, meaning that anyone can create a valid signature on any message, rendering the scheme inadequate for conditional privacy-preserving. After analyzing their shortcomings, we present a new scheme that addresses the issue, and formally proves its security under the Discrete Logarithms (DL) and Decisional Diffie-Hellman (DDH) assumptions. We also conducted experiments and simulations to evaluate our proposed scheme. The results demonstrate itssuperiority over similar schemes, indicating it is practical and effective in real-world scenarios. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

With the development of communication 5G networks and technologies,spectrum resources are increasingly *** scarcity of the spectrum resource makes market-driven spectrum auction become an important means of spectrum allocation,and due to the complexity of the network environment,the security of spectrum auctions can not be *** existing secure spectrum auction schemes introduce a semi-honest agent to complete spectrum ***,the hypothetical semi-honest model does not guarantee the security of spectnim auction in the actual application scenario,which may lead to potential security threats:the agent may reveal the privacy of bidders,agent or auctioneer may collude with the bidder to manipulate the spectrum auction,and so *** this paper,a secure spectrum auction scheme without a trusted party is proposed based on the smart contract technology,and the smart contract written into the blockchain replaces the traditional semi-honest agent to cooperate with the auctioneer server to complete the *** order to ensure the security of our scheme,a secure spectrum auction protocol is designed,in which the Software Guard Extensions(SGX)technology and Paillier cryptosystem are used to protect the privacy of *** verification is provided in our protocol by using extensive Pedersen commitment,which prevents the auctioneer server and the bidder from colluding with each other and verifies group bid sum ***,the security analysis is given to propose several types of attacks that can be ***,theoretical analysis and simulation experiments of our protocol are also provided.
