The explicit analytical solution of Rosensweig instability spikes'shapes obtained by Navier-Stokes(NS)equation in diverse magnetic field H vertical to the flat free surface of ferrofluids are systematically studied experimentally and *** carefully analyzing and solving the NS equation in elliptic form,the force balanced surface equations of spikes in Rosensweig instability are expressed as cosine wave in perturbated magnetic field and hyperbolic tangent in large magnetic field,whose results both reveal the wave-like nature of Rosensweig *** results of hyperbolic tangent form are perfectly fitted to the experimental results in this paper,which indicates that the analytical solution is basically *** the forementioned theoretical results,the total energy of the spike distribution pattern is *** analyzing the energy components under different magnetic field intensities H,the hexagon-square transition of Rosensweig instability is systematically discussed and explained in an explicit way.

With the widespread use of network infrastructures such as 5G and low-power wide-area networks,a large number of the Internet of Things(IoT)device nodes are connected to the network,generating massive amounts of ***,it is a great challenge to achieve anonymous authentication of IoT nodes and secure data *** present,blockchain technology is widely used in authentication and s data storage due to its decentralization and ***,Fan et *** a secure and efficient blockchain-based IoT authentication and data sharing *** studied it as one of the state-of-the-art protocols and found that this scheme does not consider the resistance to ephemeral secret compromise attacks and the anonymity of IoT *** overcome these security flaws,this paper proposes an enhanced authentication and data transmission scheme,which is verified by formal security proofs and informal security ***,Scyther is applied to prove the security of the proposed ***,it is demonstrated that the proposed scheme achieves better performance in terms of communication and computational cost compared to other related schemes.

Initiation of dendritic NMDA spikes co-regulated via distance-dependent and dynamic distribution of the spine number and morphology in neuron dendrites

Dendritic spines are small membranous protrusions that receive synaptic inputs from other neurons,enabling the initiation of dendritic N-methyl-D-aspartic(NMDA)spikes and somatic action *** learning and memory processes,both the number of spines on a dendrite and the morphology of individual spines are constantly *** individual influence of spine number and morphology on dendritic NMDA spikes has already been revealed,but the functional significance of the coregulation of spine number and morphology on NMDA spikes remains ***,we systematically investigated the initiation of local dendritic NMDA spikes by the dynamic distributions of the spine number and morphology on single dendrites in reconstructed neuron *** from the traditional cognition,we found the threshold number of spines required to generate local dendrite NMDA spikes on distal dendrites is fewer than that on proximal ones,because the thinner distal dendrites own higher *** for the spine morphology,the presence of moreα-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole-propionic acid(AMPA)receptors on the spine leads to larger NMDA spikes rather than an increase in the spine dimension ***,we first suggested that a single dendrite containing spines with gradually increasing head diameters away from the soma could generate larger NMDA spikes than that irrational distribution of spine morphology containing spines with decreasing head diameters,which can be compensated by the increasing spine ***,the distance-dependent distribution of spine number and morphology co-regulate the intension of dendritic NMDA *** findings about the threshold for NMDA spikes provide novel insights into the role of the irrational dynamic distribution of the spine number and morphology in senescence and disease processes such as Alzheimer’s disease,schizophrenia,and Parkinson’s disease,which causes abnormal neuron firing.

Debris cloud structure and hazardous fragments distribution under hypervelocity yaw impact

This study investigates how the debris cloud structure and hazardous fragment distribution vary with attack angle by simulating a circular cylinder projectile hypervelocity impinging on a thin plate using the finite element-smoothed particle hydrodynamics(FE-SPH)adaptive *** on the comparison and analysis of the experimental and simulation results,the FE-SPH adaptive method was applied to address the hypervelocity yaw impact problem,and the variation law of the debris cloud structure with the attack angle was *** screening criterion of the hazardous fragment at yaw impact is given by analyzing the debris formation obtained by the FE-SPH adaptive method,and the distribution characteristics of hazardous fragments and their relationship with the attack angle are ***,the velocity space was used to evaluate the distribution range and damage capability of asymmetric hazardous *** maximum velocity angle was extended from fully symmetrical working conditions to asymmetrical cases to describe the asymmetrical debris cloud distribution *** this range,the energy density was calculated to quantitatively analyze how much damage hazardous fragments inflict on the rear *** results showed that the number of hazardous fragments generated by the case near the 35°attack angle was the largest,the distribution range was the smallest,and the energy density was the *** results suggest that in this case,debris cloud generated by the impact had the strongest damage to the rear plate.

Integrated Motion control of Interaction Safety, Stability, and Path-Tracking for Front-and-Rear-Independent-Drive Electric Vehicle

Under two vehicle interaction scenarios, the uncertain motion states of traffic participants pose significant challenges to the safety of autonomous vehicles (AVs), and AVs are susceptible to instability with emergency avoidance constraints. To address this issue, an integrated motion control of interaction safety, stability, and path-tracking is proposed for front-and-rear-independent-drive electric vehicles (FRIDEV). First, a control-oriented longitudinal-lateral coupled dynamic model is established. Then, a variable step model predictive control (MPC) is designed to solve multiobjective optimization problems, which mainly include two parts: 1) adaptive adjustment of stability weight by an improved phase plane method and 2) adding an interactive safety constraint to motion control by backward reachability analysis. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed controller can effectively utilize the longitudinal and lateral tire forces and achieve a balance between stability and tracking accuracy, and reduce collision risk in the interactive scenario with milder control actions. Moreover, the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test demonstrates that the proposed controller is effective in the real-time environment. © 2015 IEEE.

Three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy offers high-dimensional information and rapid sensitivity, making it advantageous in fields such as environmental monitoring and food testing. However, scattering effects can hinder analysis accuracy, and traditional de-scattering methods often lead to signal loss and distortion. To overcome these issues, a denoising method based on a physics-informed neural network is proposed. This method includes a physical information reconstruction module that generates theoretical values approximating actual scattering values. Integrated into a GAN framework, this module uses physical quantities to guide the generator in producing physically consistent images, thus preserving material integrity after scattering removal. Tests on a self-built dataset show that this method achieves higher physical consistency compared to traditional methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Solution-processed organic‒inorganic halide perovskite(OIHP)single crystals(SCs)have demonstrated great potential in ionizing radiation detection due to their outstanding charge transport properties and low-cost ***,the energy resolution(ER)and stability of OIHP detectors still lag far behind those of melt-grown inorganic perovskite and commercial CdZnTe counterparts due to the absence of detector-grade high-quality OIHP ***,we reveal that the crystallinity and uniformity of OIHP SCs are drastically improved by relieving interfacial stress with a facial gel-confined solution growth strategy,thus enabling the direct preparation of large-area detector-grade SC wafers up to 4 cm with drastically suppressed electronic and ionic *** resultant radiation detectors show both a small dark current below 1 nA and excellent baseline stability of 4.0×10^(-8) nA cm^(-1) s^(-1) V^(-1),which are rarely realized in OIHP ***,a record high ER of 4.9% at 59.5 keV is achieved under a standard 241Am gamma-ray source with an ultralow operating bias of 5 V,representing the best gamma-ray spectroscopy performance among all solution-processed semiconductor radiation detectors ever reported.

Collaborative Improvement of Structure Shape and Surface Integrity in Titanium Alloy Hole Burnishing

In the aerospace field,hole burnishing enhancement plays an essential role in improving the service performance of load-bearing *** satisfy the assembly accuracy and strength requirements,the structure shape and surface integrity must be considered simultaneously during the enhancement *** current manufacturing process of hole burnishing has a relatively weak balance between the structure shape and surface integrity;therefore,it is necessary to analyze the mechanism and optimize the parameters to improve the strengthening effect of the *** this study,a two-dimensional longitudinal simplified model for the hole burnishing process was established,and the reasons for the surface roughness improvement of the hole wall and material accumulation on the upper surface were *** were conducted to determine the influence of the burnishing parameters on the structure shape(material accumulation,shape contour,and roundness)and surface integrity(surface roughness,residual stress,and surface hardness),based on the opposite requirements of improving the structure shape and surface integrity for the burnishing depth(BD).The results showed that with an increase in the BD,the structure shape deteriorated,whereas the surface integrity *** behavior verification experiments were conducted,and parameter selection schemes for the collaborative improvement of the structure shape and surface integrity were *** the holes of titanium alloy TB6(Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al),the fatigue life can be increased by 162%when the BD,spindle speed,and feed rate were 0.20 mm,200 r/min,and 0.2 mm/r,respectively.
