Unifying Fixed Time and Prescribed Time Control for Strict-Feedback Nonlinear systems

This paper investigates the prescribed-time tracking control problem for a class of multi-input multi-output(MIMO)nonlinear strict-feedback systems subject to non-vanishing uncertainties. The inherent unmatched and non-vanishing uncertainties make the prescribed-time control problem become much more nontrivial. The solution to address the challenges mentioned above involves incorporating a prescribed-time filter, as opposed to a finite-time filter, and formulating a prescribed-time Lyapunov stability lemma(Lemma 5). The prescribed-time Lyapunov stability lemma is based on time axis shifting time-varying yet bounded gain, which establishes a novel link between the fixed-time and prescribed-time control method. This allows the restriction condition that the time-varying gain function must satisfy as imposed in most exist prescribed-time control works to be removed. Under the proposed control method, the desire trajectory is ensured to closely track the output of the system in prescribed time. The effectiveness of the theoretical results are verified through numerical simulation.

Model and Data Hybrid Driven Approach for Quantifying the Meteorology-Dependent Demand Flexibility of Building Thermal Loads

Recently, the heat and electricity integrated energy system (HE-IES) has become a hot topic in both industry and academia. In the HE- IES, the potential flexibility of the buildings' thermal loads can be exploited to relax the heat power balance constraints and consequently allow a more flexible operation of the combined heat and power units. In this paper, model-driven and data-driven techniques are combined to quantify the demand flexibility of the buildings' thermal loads in a non-instructive way. First, the explicit analytical equivalent thermal parameter (ETP) model of the aggregated buildings is developed. The heat transfer coefficient (k) and thermal inertia coefficient (C) of the ETP model are designated to measure the potential demand flexibility. Second, the Particle Swarm Optimization optimized Radial Basis Function neural network (PSO-RBF) is used to identify the relationship between the values of k and C and the meteorological factors. To obtain the training data, an innovative two-stage regression method based on the adaptive temporal resolution is proposed to extract k and C values from the historical thermal load data. Finally, a flexible thermal load model is built based on the predictions of the meteorological factors, which can be conveniently incorporated into the online dispatch of the HE-IES. A comprehensive simulation environment is designed to verify the accuracy and availability of the proposed technique.

Aramid nanofiber(ANF)-based composites have drawn tremendous interest in high-voltage electrical systems due to their superior insulation strength,thermal stability,and mechanical ***,the filler agglomeration and interface compatibility have retarded further improvement of the dielectric ***,the nano-titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))particles treated by aminopropyl triethoxysilane(APTES)serve as the inorganic fillers,which are doped in the ANF to prepare the composite nano-paper via the blade coating *** electrostatic interaction between the ANF and fillers highly promotes their uniform *** to the pure ANF paper,the composite paper has a denser structure with reduced pores and defects,which significantly improves its dielectric performance with inhibited partial discharge *** a filler loading of 3 wt%(mass fraction),the breakdown strength is increased by 70.5%to a maximum value of 358.1 kV/mm,while the bulk conductivity is minimised to 5.2×10^(-17)S/m,representing an 88.1%*** analysing the energy band structure of each component,energy barriers at the interface for electrons(1.48 eV)and holes(0.40 eV)are *** values indicate deepened trap energy levels,which greatly strengthen the carrier trapping effect for improved dielectric performance.

The integration of surface filtration and catalytic decomposition functions in catalytic bags enables the synergistic removal of multiple pollutants(such as dust,nitrogen oxide,acid gases,and dioxins)in a single reactor,thus effectively reducing the cost and operational difficulties associated with flue gas *** this study,Mn-Ce-Sm-Sn(MCSS)catalysts were prepared and loaded onto hightemperature resistant polyimide(P84)filter through ultrasonic impregnation to create composite catalytic *** results demonstrate that the NO conversion rates of the composite catalytic filter consistently achieve above 95%within the temperature range of 160-260℃,with a chlorobenzene T_(90)value of 230℃.The ultrasonic impregnation method effectively loaded the catalyst onto the filter,ensuring high dispersion both on the surface and inside the *** increased exposure of catalyst active sites enhances the catalytic activity of the composite catalytic ***,increasing the catalyst loading leads to a gradual decrease in permeability,an increase in pressure drops and the long residence time of the flue gas,thereby improving catalytic *** to ordinary impregnation methods,ultrasonic impregnation improves the bonding strength between the catalyst and filter,as well as the permeability of the composite catalytic filter under the same loading ***,this study presents a novel approach to prepare composite catalytic filter for the simultaneous removal of NO and chlorobenzene at low temperatures.

In the context of a high proportion of new energy power system, the randomness and volatility of new energy output and the imbalance of spatial distribution seriously affect the voltage and frequency security and stability of the power system. Aiming at the current frequency and voltage decoupling control of new energy field station may not be able to meet the demand of safe and stable operation, this paper proposes a coordinated control method of active and reactive power of new energy field station. On the basis of considering the influencing factors such as large fluctuation of new energy output of the system and dynamic behavior of the system load, the Thevenin Equivalent Parameters (TEP) identification method based on Sage-Husa Adaptive Kalman Filtering is used to correct the TEP issued by the dispatch center to obtain the accurate TEP of the system at the current moment. Based on the system TEP and network current information, the system grid voltage value is calculated under the situation of active standby transferring out or output increasing in new energy stations, and the voltage safety requirement of Point of Common Coupling (PCC) is met by coordinating and controlling the active and reactive power of equipment in the stations. The validity of the coordinated control of active and reactive power is proved by the simulation examples. © state Grid Electric power 2025.

Achieving an Accurate Random Process Model for PV power Using Cheap Data:Leveraging the SDE and Public Weather Reports

Stochastic differential equation (SDE)-based random process models of renewable energy sources (RESs) jointly capture evolving probability distribution and temporal correlation in continuous time. It enabled recent studies to remarkably improve performance of power system dynamic uncertainty quantification and optimization. However, considering the non-homogeneous random process nature of PV, there still remains a challenging question: how can a realistic and accurate daily SDE model for PV power be obtained that reflects its weather-dependent and non-Gaussian uncertainty in operation, especially when high-resolution numerical weather prediction (NWP) or sky imager is unavailable for many distributed plants? To fill this gap, this article finds that an accurate SDE model for PV power can be constructed only using the data from low-resolution public weather reports. Specifically, for each day, an hourly parameterized Jacobi diffusion process recreates temporal patterns of PV volatility. Its parameters are mapped from the day's public weather reports to reflect varying weather conditions using a simple learning model. The SDE model jointly captures intraday and intrahour volatility. Statistical examination shows that the proposed approach outperforms a selection of the latest deep learning-based time series models on real-world data collected in Macao.

The widespread use of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber in high-voltage outdoor insulation enhances the overall insulator's resistance to pollution flashovers upon application, thus synergizing the advantages of both inorganic and organic materials. Due to cost considerations, many manufacturers opt to incorporate a higher proportion of calcium carbonate into RTV coatings in practical manufacturing scenarios. Through a comparative analysis of the aging behavior and mechanisms of RTV anti-pollution flashover coatings with varied calcium carbonate content subjected to thermal oxygen aging experiments, the impact of calcium carbonate filler on coating aging in actual environmental conditions was examined. The addition of calcium carbonate facilitates the reaction of functional groups on the coating surface, accelerating the aging of the coating surface. However, it also provides a certain degree of heat resistance in high-temperature environments. The investigation into the aging mechanisms of the coating and the assessment of changes in silicone rubber content during aging offer valuable guidance for improving the longevity of the coating. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. This article is based on the physical field model with multiple physical field mechanisms, which enables the digital twin model to accurately simulate the behavior of physical objects. The driving model based on the reduced order algorithm enables the digital twin model to have good interaction and exploration of physical object mechanisms while ensuring computational accuracy. The visualization model enables the digital twin model to display the internal structure and state of physical objects in a detailed and intuitive manner. Grid data is the finite element mesh parameters obtained by finite element meshing of the bushing geometric model. Each node in the grid data not only participates in the calculation of the multi physical field of the valve side bushing, but also interfaces with the visualization model as the rendering basis for the visualization of valve side bushing. Therefore, constructing grid data requires grid node data and grid rendering data. The grid node data is stored in NAS (BDF) file format, and the grid rendering data is stored in STL file format. © 2025 SPIE.

Efficient algorithms are an important representation and fundamental prerequisite for the interactive capability of digital twin models. The internal influencing factors and evolution characteristics of the ultra-high pressure valve side casing are complex, resulting in a huge amount of calculation for the twin model. The existing literature lacks a fast calculation method to meet the requirements of fast calculation. The application of classical intrinsic orthogonal decomposition (POD), snapshot POD, and singular value decomposition (SVD) POD to the digital twin reduction of the valve side casing has the problem of low efficiency and cannot meet the fast calculation needs of complex parameters in the digital twin model of the valve side casing. This article proposes the spatiotemporal non-uniform POD reduction algorithm suitable for the digital twin model of ultra-high pressure valve side casing. It decomposes into different regions in space and uses non-uniform sampling in time, which can effectively balance the accuracy and timeliness of the calculation of the digital twin model of ultra-high pressure valve side bushing. When calculating model at 0 seconds and 2.5 seconds, the errors of the spatiotemporal heterogeneity POD reduction calculation results were 0.006% and 0.002%, respectively, indicating that the reduction calculation results can meet the accuracy requirements;The calculation time has been reduced from the 2min12s and 3min45s to 6.78s and 9.61s, both of which have decreased by about 95%, significantly improving the calculation efficiency. © 2025 SPIE.
