This paper presents a simulation method for investigating the failure of optocoupler equipment (OCEP) in multi-physical fields. The method is based on the aging of the solder layer of the photosensitive field-effect tube (PFET) and aims to analyze the performance degradation of the PFET. Firstly, a comprehensive multi-physical field model of the OCEP is developed using the actual structure of the CT test OCEP, taking into account the conductivity of the chip. Next, an OCEP failure simulation method is proposed, which takes into account the shedding of the PFET solder layer caused by the failure mechanism of the OCEP. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate that the degree of solder layer shedding reaches 70%, resulting in the failure of the OCEP.

In this study,a human-sensitive frequency band vibration isolator(HFBVI)with quasi-zero stiffness(QZS)characteristics for heavy-duty truck seats is designed to improve the comfort of heavy-duty truck drivers on uneven ***,the analytical expressions for the force and displacement of the HFBVI are derived with the Lagrange equation and d'Alembert's principle,and are validated through the prototype restoring force ***,the harmonic balance method(HBM)is used to obtain the dynamic responses under harmonic excitation,and further the influence of pre-stretching on the dynamic characteristics and transmissibility is ***,the experimental prototype of the HFBVI is fabricated,and vibration experiments are conducted under harmonic excitation to verify the vibration isolation performance(VIP)of the proposed vibration *** experimental results indicate that the HFBVI can effectively suppress the frequency band(4-8 Hz)to which the human body is sensitive to vertical *** addition,under real random road spectrum excitation,the HFBVI can achieve low-frequency vibration isolation close to 2 Hz,providing new prospects for ensuring the health of heavy-duty truck drivers.

The study on the properties of barium carbonate in different crystal systems is play an important role for the evolution of electronic products requiring miniaturization and high performance. Here, the electrical and optical properties of BaTiO3 crystal structures with three space groups (Pm 3 m, P4mm, and P4/mmm) were systematically studied using the first-principles method. The structural are confirmed to be stable by the Born criterion The evolution energy band structures under HSE06 functional were more consistent with other theoretical and experimental results compared to the PBE functional. The band gaps of BaTiO3 for Pm 3 m, P4mm, and P4/mmm space groups up to 3.42, 3.24, and 3.26 eV and exhibit indirect semiconductor behavior. The optical parameters show that the light absorption rate and loss function of all three BaTiO3 were almost zero in the lower energy range. However, the tetragonal phase BaTiO3 with P4/mmm space group has a lower light reflection rate and higher light refractive index compared to the tetragonal phase BaTiO3 with P4/mmm and the cubic phase BaTiO3 with Pm 3 m space group, indicating its potential application value in electro-optic modulation. © 2024 SPIE.

Modified Condition/Decision Coverage (MC/DC) is a test coverage standard with excellent fault detection capability, which is widely used in testing safety-critical software. Symbolic execution generates test cases automatically to achieve high code coverage. However, since symbolic execution uses short-circuit evaluation to evaluate decisions, it fails to guarantee the consistency of other conditions in a decision required by the MC/DC criterion. As a result, it is incapable of generating MC/DC test cases to test safety-critical systems adequately. To solve this problem, we propose Branch Dependence Guided Symbolic Execution (BDGSE), a symbolic execution technique for high MC/DC. The approach utilizes static analysis to compute the branch dependencies, then guides symbolic execution to selectively explore paths and simplify test cases, and finally generates a small number of test cases to achieve high MC/DC coverage. Our experimental results show that BDGSE can generate high-quality test cases. Although BDGSE generates fewer test cases, it can achieve higher MC/DC coverage than SPF and random methods, and the fault detection capability of test cases generated by BDGSE is comparable to that of test cases generated by SPF. © 2023 IEEE.

Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite networks have been emerging as a revolutionary solution for ubiquitous communication in the upcoming sixth generation (6 G) wireless communication network. Efficient resource allocation in these satellite networks requires precise analysis of communication traffic demand. To simulate an accurate representation of the spatial-temporal communication traffic pattern worldwide, this paper utilizes Kernel Density Estimation (KDE) to simulate aircraft positions and employs a time-varying communication intensity model. The effectiveness of this approach is validated through numerical simulation results. © 2024 IEEE.

α/β(hcp/bcc)interfaces are of great importance in the microstructure development and the mechanical properties of titanium and zirconium *** work contributes to the study of interface energetics and interfacial structures of the precipitate in the hcp/bcc system based on a simulation study using molecular statics(MS)and molecular dynamics(MD).The input orientation relationship(OR)was calculated based on the O-line *** on the energy of the interfaces containing the invariant line(IL),two preferred facets were determined by the Wulff construction,which explained the observed orientations of the habit plane(HP)and the side facet(SF).The deviation of the observed precipitate morphology from the equilibrium shape was discussed in terms of interface *** structures of the interfaces surrounding a three-dimensional(3 D)precipitate,including the preferred facets and the end face,were obtained at the atomic *** simulated dislocation structures and atomic structures in these interfaces are in good agreement with those of the experimental observations for Ti-Cr alloys.A method was suggested for modifying the O-cell structure with the guidance of the relaxed structure,yielding consistency between the calculated dislocation structure based on the generalized O-element approach and the simulation results.

The lead-bismuth eutectic alloy (LBE) is a candidate coolant for the generation IV liquid metal reactors, and the plate-type fuel assemblies are widely used in the small or research reactors. However, the turbulent heat transfer behaviors of low Prandtl number LBE are quite different from that of ordinary fluids due to its violation in Reynolds analogy, and its flow and heat transfer process in narrow rectangular channels need to be studied with new methods. For this purpose, the authors conduct numerical simulation and analysis of turbulent flow of the LBE in narrow rectangular channel and compare the numerical simulation results with correlation proposed for liquid metal, moreover, the applicability of different near wall treatment methods, turbulence models and turbulent Prandtl number (Prt) models is compared. The focus of the analysis is on the impacts of the collocation of various models on the Nusselt number, the flow redistribution phenomena, as well as the difference in flow and heat transfer capacity in channels. According to the results, the suggested turbulence model and Prt model for different Peclet (Pe) numbers are recommended, besides the flow redistribution phenomenon in the three channels fuel assembly can be ignored, only slightly affects the flow and heat transfer in the narrow rectangular inlet region. © 2023 by JSME.

In the high-temperature operation of very high-temperature gas-cooled reactors (VHTRs), "microclimate reaction" are one of the key corrosion reactions of concern. This study investigates the corrosion behavior and mechanisms of the two mainstream high-temperature alloys, Incoloy 800H and Inconel 617, under minor air ingress accidents. The main focus is on comparing and analyzing the "microclimate reaction" corrosion behavior and mechanisms of the two alloys, as well as exploring changes in their mechanical properties. The results show that during the experiment, both alloys primarily underwent oxidation and "microclimate reaction". The double-layer oxide of Cr2 O3 -MnCr2 O4 /MnFe2 O4 and the SiO2 layer on the surface of Incoloy 800H provide good resistance to "microclimate reaction," whereas the single-layer Cr2 O3 oxide on Inconel 617 is not effective in preventing "microclimate reaction". The mechanical property test results indicate that the decarburization caused by "microclimate reaction" does not significantly affect the basic mechanical properties of the alloy. Research on "microclimate reactions" should primarily focus on preventing the oxidation layer from cracking and reducing the time during which the alloy matrix is unprotected by a protective oxide layer. © 2024, The Authors. Planetary gearboxes find extensive application in wind power generation, aerospace, industrial production and other fields. Harsh operational conditions and prolonged periods of continuous work often lead to various gear damages. Therefore, it is important to continuously monitor the health status of planetary gearboxes. However, the fault-sensitive frequencies of planetary gearboxes used in the existing signal models and fault diagnosis indicators are calculated theoretically or searched artificially. In response to this, this paper proposes a strategy for identifying fault-sensitive frequencies in planetary gearboxes intelligently by combining spectral amplitude analysis with three models: Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Deep Neural Network (DNN). In addressing challenges such as the speed change of planetary gearbox (PG) during operation and the complexity in extracting fault features, an order demodulation analysis method based on order tracking (OT) and variational mode decomposition (VMD) is proposed. Non-stationary time domain signals are transformed into relatively stable angular domain signals through angular resampling. The intrinsic mode function (IMF) is obtained by demodulation of the angular multi-component signal using the VMD method. The instantaneous order of a proper IMF is calculated via Hilbert Transform. The sensitive single component is selected by matching the meshing order and the central order of the instantaneous order. Finally, the amplitude of the characteristic order components extracted from the instantaneous order spectrum was used as features and Support Vector Machine (SVM) was employed for the classification of four different conditions in the sun gear. Comparing the results of the proposed method with Deep Neural Networks (DNN) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), the experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in diagnosing PGs under non-stationary conditions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
