Slippery quartz surfaces for anti‐fouling optical windows

The surface of camera‐based medical devices is easily smeared by blood and fog during the surgical procedure,causing visual field loss and bringing great distress to both doctors and *** this article,a slippery liquid‐infused porous surface(SLIPS)on a quartz window surface that can repel various liquids,especially blood droplets is reported.A femtosecond laser pulse train was used to create periodic microhole structures on the silica *** subsequent low surface energy treatment and lubricant infusion led to the successful preparation of a slippery *** blood‐repellent windows exhibited high transparency,great antifogging,and antibacterial *** addition,the slippery ability of the as‐prepared surface exhibited outstanding stability since the surface could withstand harsh treatments/environments,such as repeated pipette scratches and immersion in different pH *** as‐prepared millimeter‐sized quartz samples with SLIPS were attached to the endoscope lens as a protective coating and could maintain high visibility after repeated immersion in *** believe that the coating developed in this study will provide inspiration for the design of next‐generation endoscopes or other camera‐guided devices that will resist fouling,keep clear vision,and reduce operation time,thus offering great potential applications in lesion diagnosis and therapy.

To obtain the characteristic operational parameters of spacecraft heat seals, a customized tester is used to carry out the structure and performance research of the P-shaped heat seals. A heat-sealing test system is built to simulate real working conditions. The structure and the plan of the tester are optimized based on the finite element thermal analysis method. For different compression rates and pore-opening structures, the leakage rates of the P-shaped seal are tested at room temperature, high temperature, and different air pressures. The test results show that the leakage of the P-shaped sealing ring decreases with the increase of compression rate and the number of openings on the outer high-pressure side. These results are following those of the finite element theoretical analysis. The main control factors that affect the size of seal leakage have been preliminarily determined, and the data obtained from the test has laid the foundation for future research on sealing theory. © 2023, Politechnica University of Bucharest. Range gate pull-off (RGPO) Jamming disrupts tracking capability of radar system by strategically increasing the latency of radar signal. Hence this kind of active deception jamming is widely adopted. The quantitative assessment and evaluation of RGPO Jamming effects on radar systems is of great significance for enhancing radar anti-jamming capabilities. However, difficulties exist in establishing a mathematical model for analyzing the jamming effects through theoretical analyses. Both the complexity of different radar systems and randomness of radar tracking processes add to this challenge. These factors result in substantial workload to analyze jamming effects. Considering these challenges, a modelling method for RGPO effects on radar based on digital simulation results is introduced in this study. Firstly, the radar range tracking model was established. Through the qualitative analyses of the process of RGPO jamming effect and the principle of affecting the tracking loop, it was found that the rate of a successful pulling off would show a precipitous drop after the pulling speed exceeds a certain threshold. This conclusion was verified in the simulation results of the RGPO effect simulation system. On this basis, to build the relationship between the maximum pull-off speed and the Jamming-to-Signal Ratio (JSR), a modelling method based on spline interpolation and least squares fitting was proposed in this study. The work contributes to a deeper understanding of the impact of RGPO Jamming on radar tracking, and provides valuable insights for bolstering radar countermeasures. © 2024 IEEE.

Classification Method for Mechanical Defects in GIS Equipment Based on Mode Function Analysis and Improved Relevance Vector Machines

Mechanical defects,in gas-insulated switchgear(GIS)equipment,have weak response characteristics,leading to significant difficulties in the classification of ***,this paper proposes a novel mechanical defect feature extraction and classification method that combines independent intrinsic mode function(IIMF)analysis and an improved multikernel mapping fast multi-classification relevance vector machine(MKF-mRVM).Enlightened by the differences in the GIS operating vibration mode,the IIMF series were first obtained based on regenerated phase-shifted sinusoid-assisted empirical mode decomposition(RPSEMD)and modal *** singular value decomposition and time-frequency conversions were performed to construct combined feature ***,multikernel mapping and domain sampling were introduced to improve the calculation speed and recognition accuracy of the mRVM,which was more suitable for on-line *** show that the proposed RPSEMD-MKF-mRVM model achieves a faster training speed(14.23 s)and higher accuracy(98.21%)than other algorithms,and it can adapt to variable loads.

This paper reviews the application of atmospheric inversions for estimating national CO2and CH4fluxes with a focus on *** describing the fundamental principles and methodologies of the technique,we synthesize recent progress in estimating China's CO2and CH4budgets through atmospheric inversion,and compare these estimates with national greenhouse gas（GHG） inventory（NGHGI） *** inverted estimates for China's total CO2and CH4emissions amount to 8.35 ± 1.39 Pg CO2a-1and 60.8 ± 5.9 Tg CH4a-1,respectively,in the last decade,which are in general consistent with ***,large uncertainties in spatial and temporal disaggregation of national budgets hinder the effectiveness of the method in verifying China's GHG budgets and improving NGHGI *** uncertainties are largely driven by differences in inversion models,observational coverage and methodological *** recommend improving observational networks,conducting model intercomparison exercises and refining inversion methods to better support China's GHG reporting and future climate goals.

The energy storage system(ESS)as a demand-side management(DSM)resource can effectively smooth the load power fluctuation of a power ***,designing a more reasonable ESS operational strategy will be a prerequisite before incorporating the energy storage device into *** different load levels have different demands for the real-time chargedischarge power of an ESS,this paper proposes a heuristic ESS operation scheduling strategy which can take into account the electrical load demand *** this paper,firstly,two demand degree concepts for charging power and discharging power are defined to describe the differentiated ESS demand under the condition of different electrical load ***,an inverse proportion technique based ESS scheduling strategy,with the consideration of the load demand difference,is proposed in this ***,some evaluating indices are defined in this paper for describing the influence of the proposed strategy on the smoothing degree of the daily load ***,several case studies are designed to verify the validity and correctness of the proposed technique,and the results show that the proposed technique can effectively smooth the load curve and improve the ability of peak shaving and valley filling.

Operation Strategy of Rail Transit Green Energy system Considering Uncertainty Risk of Photovoltaic Power Output

The integration of photovoltaic power generation is a new development into the traction power supply system(TPSS). However, traditional research on the TPSS operation strategy has not fully considered the risk of uncertainty in photovoltaic power output. To this end, we propose an operation strategy for the rail transit green energy system that considers the uncertainty risk of photovoltaic power output. First, we establish a regenerative braking energy utilization model that considers the impact of time-of-use(TOU) electricity price on the utilization efficiency and economic profit of regenerative braking energy and compensates for non-traction load. Then, we propose an operation strategy based on the balance of power supply and demand that uses an improved light robust(ILR) model to minimize the total cost of the rail transit green energy system, considering the risk of uncertainty in photovoltaic power output. The model incorporates the two-step load check on the second-level time scale to correct the operational results, solve the issue of different time resolutions between photovoltaic power and traction load, and achieve the coordinated optimization of risk cost and operation cost after photovoltaic integration. Case studies demonstrate that the proposed model can effectively consider the impact of the uncertainty in photovoltaic power output on the operation strategy, significantly improving the efficiency and economy of the system operation.

High-performance servo joints are the basis for quadruped robots to have excellent motion performance. The current loop is the innermost loop of the servo system, and its control effect on torque directly determines the control effect of the entire servo system. This paper proposes a robust current control algorithm for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) based on the extended state observer (ESO) to improve the performance of the current loop. Traditional predictive current control relies more on the accuracy of model parameters. This paper uses ESO to obtain unknown disturbances to reduce the dependence of control effects on model parameters. Simulation and experiments show that predictive current control has more excellent dynamic performance than PI control. After adding the ESO compensation link, the static error and oscillation of current caused by controller model parameter error are effectively eliminated, significantly reducing the dependence on model parameters and improving the robustness of the current loop in the servo system. © 2023 IEEE.
