The core structure of transformers and reactors is subject to stress and high-frequency excitation during operation. The core structure is made of laminated silicon steel sheets, which are subject to magnetostrictive strain under alternating magnetic fields. To investigate the comprehensive magnetic properties of oriented silicon steel sheets under the in uence of harmonics and stress, this paper builds a magnetic property measurement system for electrical steel and investigates the magnetization and magnetostriction characteristics of oriented silicon steel sheets of type 30SQGD105 under working frequency, harmonic and applied stress conditions. The results show that the effects of harmonics and stress on the hysteresis characteristics of the silicon steel sheet are small, and the effects on the magnetostriction characteristics are large. © (2023). All-organic modification coating prepared with large-scale atmospheric-pressure plasma for mitigating surface charge accumulation

We propose an optical Hilbert direct detection receiver with an all-pass transfer function for carrier-assisted complex-valued double-sideband signal reception. We experimentally demonstrate single-wavelength line rates at 1.94 Tb/s at 300-m SSMF and 1.84 Tb/s at 10-km SSMF using a >100-GHz thin-film LiNbO3 dual-drive Mach-Zehnder modulator. © 2024 IEEE.

Wastewater treatment is an important source of greenhouse gases(GHGs).Yet large uncertainties remain in the quantification of GHG emissions from municipal wastewater treatment plants(MWWTPs)in China.A high-resolution and technology-specific emission inventory is still lacking to support mitigation strategies of *** we develop a plant-level and technology-based MWWTP emission inventory for China covering 8703 plants and 19 treatment technology categories by compiling and harmonizing the most up-to-date facility-level ***'s methane(CH_(4))and nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)emissions from MWWTPs in 2020 are estimated to be 150.6 Gg and 22.0 Gg,respectively,with the uncertainty range of-30%to 37%and-30%to 26%at 95%confidence *** find an emission inequality across cities,with the richest cities emitting two times more CH_(4)and N_(2)O per capita from municipal wastewater treatment than the poorest *** emitted CH_(4)and N_(2)O are dominated by Anaerobic/Anoxic/Oxic-,Sequencing Batch Reactor-,Oxidation Ditch-,and Anoxic/Oxic-based MWWTPs of less than 20 years *** the relatively young age structure of China's MWWTPs,the committed emissions highlight the importance of reducing on-site GHG emissions by optimization of operating conditions and innovation *** emission differences among our estimates,previous studies,and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change guidelines are largely attributed to the uncertainties in emission factors,implying the urgent need for more plant-integrated measurements to improve the accuracy of emission accounting.

Candidate bacterial phylum CSP1-3 has not been cultivated and is poorly understood. Here, we analyzed 112 CSP1-3 metagenome-assembled genomes and showed they are likely facultative anaerobes, with 3 of 5 families encoding autotrophy through the reductive glycine pathway(RGP), Wood–Ljungdahl pathway(WLP) or Calvin-Benson-Bassham(CBB), with hydrogen or sulfide as electron donors. Chemoautotrophic enrichments from hot spring sediments and fluorescence in situ hybridization revealed enrichment of six CSP1-3 genera, and both transcribed genes and DNA-stable isotope probing were consistent with proposed chemoautotrophic metabolisms. Ancestral state reconstructions showed that the ancestors of phylum CSP1-3 may have been acetogens that were autotrophic via the RGP, whereas the WLP and CBB were acquired by horizontal gene transfer. Our results reveal that CSP1-3 is a widely distributed phylum with the potential to contribute to the cycling of carbon, sulfur and nitrogen. The name Sysuimicrobiota phy. nov. is proposed.

This paper aims to study the impact of slew rate on partial discharge (PD) characteristics of BOPP film under nanosecond pulse voltage. To achieve this, experiments were conducted to detect partial discharges in BOPP films subjected to high rise rate (slew rate) nanosecond pulse voltages. The study found that the repetitive partial discharge inception voltage (RPDIV) initially increased and then reached a stable level as the rise time increased. Additionally, the PD amplitude and the number of RSD increased with higher slew rates, while the PD time-lag decreased gradually. Similarly, for FSD, the PD amplitude, PD numbers, and PD time-lag all increased as the slew rate increased. Furthermore, the study observed that when the slew rate was below 50 V/ns, the PD characteristics exhibited rapid changes with increasing slew rate. However, when the slew rate exceeded 50 V/ns, the PD characteristics showed slower variations as the slew rate increased. These presented results contribute to a better understanding of the behavior of PD in film capacitors under nanosecond pulse voltage with high slew rates. They also provide valuable guidance for evaluating the insulation performance of film capacitors. © 2023 IEEE.

The integrated energy system (IES) has seen widespread application in the energy production as a result of the advancement of energy intelligent technology. While significantly increasing energy efficiency, small hole leakage failures of gas pipelines bring operational risks to the energy supply. Gas pipeline leakage may cause explosions, threatening people and buildings. Therefore, based on the one-dimension gas flow equation and dynamic gas flow model, a system network model that considers the change of pipeline topology caused by leakage failure is proposed. The process of gas leakage in the operation of gas pipelines is illustrated in the system network model. Then, an optimal scheduling model for IES is established, which includes the dynamic characteristics of gas system and leakage failure. The effect of high voltage pulsed electric field on the electroporation of plant and animal cells has been widely used in tumor ablation, food sterilization, and biodiesel extraction, but the effect of pulsed electric field on pathogenic virus without intact cell structure has not been effectively studied. In this paper, we conducted a preliminary study on the effect of sub-microsecond pulsed electric field on virus, using 1000 sub-microsecond pulses of 20 kV/cm with different pulse width (200/500/1000 ns) at a heavy frequency of 10 Hz to treat lentivirus. Besides, we also examined the temperature and pH changes of virus suspension before and after the electric treatment, excluding the effect of temperature and electrolysis. The effect of lentivirus infection of HEK392T was studied comparatively by fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. The results of the experiment show that the temperature during the electric treatment and pH before and after the treatment do not change significantly. The sub-microsecond high-voltage pulsed electric field can significantly inhibit the infectivity of lentivirus by disrupting its structural integrity, and the inhibition effect is positively correlated with pulse width. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu.
