The short-term probabilistic prediction of wind power has the characteristics of spatial dependence and time-series *** the two characteristics at the same time can improve the prediction level. In this paper, a probabilistic short-term wind power prediction model considering the temporal and spatial dependence of prediction error is proposed. Considering the coupling relationship between the two properties, the NWP(Numerical Weather Prediction) wind speed point prediction error in the historical period is hierarchical clustering, and the empirical distribution model is used to fit the probability distribution of the error under different wind conditions;the cumulative empirical distribution probability value corresponding to the NWP wind speed at the time to be predicted is bootstrap sampling;under the given confidence level, the possible wind speed at each time point to be predicted in the short term is calculated The power fluctuation range of the generator. The test results show that this method can ensure the statistical significance and fitting stability of the sub sample set at the same time, and improve the classification accuracy of the days to be predicted. Compared with considering a single property, the result of probability prediction performs better on multiple evaluation indexes.

This paper presents a highly compliant prosthetic hand based on a novel synergy mechanism. The prosthetic hand consists of a synergy mechanism, four fingers and one thumb. The synergy mechanism can transmit the power from two motors to four fingers. It can effectively reduce the number of motors. At the same time, it makes the prosthetic hand have excellent dexterity. The underactuated finger has three joints with two DOF. It has two main motion modes: coupled motion in free space and self-adaptive motion when contacting with the object, which can mimic the human finger as much as possible. The thumb uses one motor to drive the two flexion-extension joints and uses a manual switch to drive the abduction-adduction joint, which can reduce the number of motors and the cost efficiently. The performance evaluation is given to demonstrate the comprehensive performance in terms of the versatility, compliance, sensing, size, weight and cost of the proposed design. © 2019 IEEE.

Accurate remaining useful life (RUL) prediction of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) is crucial for ensuring safety and optimizing the performance of battery-powered systems. However, existing methods often suffer from capacity regeneration and cannot effectively learn the local fluctuations and global nonlinear degradation of the LIBs' capacity. To address these challenges, a novel hybrid framework that combines real-time variational mode decomposition (RTVMD) with a tightly coupled convolutional Informer model (TCCI) is proposed. Firstly, RTVMD introduces a fully stepwise real-time decomposition sampling technique to decompose the capacity series of LIBs in real time. Then, the TCCI module integrates the CSP attention, dilated causal convolution, and passthrough mechanism in a unified architecture to capture the capacity series’ local and long-term dependencies. Finally, several comparative experiments are conducted on three LIBs degradation datasets to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model. The experimental results illustrate that the maximum mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), root mean squared error (RMSE), and mean absolute error (MAE) of the proposed method are merely 0.015, 0.008, and 0.006, respectively. Compared with other methods, the prediction accuracy of the proposed method is improved by at least 20 %. Efficient prediction outcomes can offer sufficient backing for electrical equipment predictive maintenance. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

Reducing the flow resistance of moving underwater vehicles can improve their performance and reduce the energy consumption. This paper presents a method to interfere the turbulent boundary layer for achieving the drag reduction by using piezoelectric transducers. The transducer produces ultrasonic traveling waves vibration near the hull surface. The working frequency and the maximum vibration amplitude of the transducers placed in different locations were obtained through the structural dynamic analysis. The fluid-solid coupling simulations were performed to explore the reduction drag performance. The simulation results show that better drag reduction performance can be obtained when the angle between the vibration direction of the piezoelectric transducer and the flow direction is 67.62. The method of using piezoelectric transducer vibration for drag reduction is proved to be feasible. The present work provides a valuable reference for the study of drag reduction of underwater vehicles. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The recent trend in 2D multiple object tracking (MOT) is jointly solving detection and tracking, where object detection and appearance feature (or motion) are learned simultaneously. Despite competitive performance, in crowded scenes, joint detection and tracking usually fail to find accurate object associations due to missed or false detections. In this paper, we jointly model counting, detection and re-identification in an end-to-end framework, named CountingMOT, tailored for crowded scenes. By imposing mutual object-count constraints between detection and counting, the CountingMOT tries to find a balance between object detection and crowd density map estimation, which can help it to recover missed detections or reject false detections. Our approach is an attempt to bridge the gap of object detection, counting, and re-Identification. This is in contrast to prior MOT methods that either ignore the crowd density and thus are prone to failure in crowded scenes, or depend on local correlations to build a graphical relationship for matching targets. The proposed MOT tracker can perform online and real-time tracking, and achieves the state-of-the-art results on public benchmarks MOT16 (MOTA of 79.7%), MOT17 (MOTA of 81.3%) and MOT20 (MOTA of 78.9%). In this study, we investigated the structure, energetic effects, and electrical properties of oxygen vacancy (V O ) configurations at (101)-oriented twin grain boundaries (GBs) in HfO 2 -based resistive random-access memory (RRAM) using first-principles calculations. Our results demonstrate that the 3- and 4-coordinated V O s at GBs exhibit lower formation and negative segregation energies than those in the bulk phase. Furthermore, they show a favorable trend in migration barrier energy, indicating a preference for the generation and accumulation of V O s at GBs. Additionally, V O s exhibit a strong attraction to surrounding O atoms due to Coulomb interactions, which leads to their aggregation and a tendency to form migration channels. The density of states reveals that the under-coordination of Hf ions at GBs causes the conduction band to expand by 0.4 eV, resulting in a narrower band gap. Notably, the conductivity of divacancy is significantly influenced by the conductivity of constituent V O s. By systematically analyzing the bonding/anti-bonding states and isosurfaces of charge density, the mechanism of localized electron density redistribution induced by divacancies at GBs was elucidated. Charge density analysis indicates that the conductive sub-band created by V O12 significantly enhances the conductivity by facilitating electronic transport, thus serving as the conduction mechanism in RRAM.

Soybean is an important source of oil and vegetable protein and plays a key role in agricultural production and economy. A suitability evaluation of soybean cultivation is important for identifying potential soybean planting areas. Based on the raster data of soybean harvest ratio (FSHA) and climate-soil-topographic environmental factors, we used MaxEnt to simulate the soybean planting suitability and potential distribution in China and the future trends of soybean cultivation under climate change. The result shows that the suitability of soybean cultivation was primarily influenced by elevation, precipitation of warmest quarter, capacity of the clay fraction, slope, mean diurnal temperature range, accumulated temperature ≥10℃, solar radiation and topsoil gravel content. High-suitability and moderate-suitability area are respectively 44.61 Mha and 71.12 Mha in China. High-suitability areas for soybean are mainly concentrated in the Northeast Plain, the North China Plain and the northern parts of the middle and lower Yangtze River plain. There were many provinces with high soybean planting potential but low development degrees, including Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Tianjin, Jilin, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Hubei and Shaanxi. Under future climate scenarios (SSP126, SSP245 and SSP585) of multiple global circulation models in CMIP6, the area highly or moderately suitable for soybean cultivation is generally stable, while low suitability area shows growth evidently. The total increase of three suitability area is the most obvious under SSP245 during 2021-2040, accounting for more than 5% in the base of historical data. In the future, most parts of Northeast China (eastern Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang and eastern and northern Jilin), parts of north-central China (northern Hebei, northern Shanxi and Shaanxi) and parts of southwest China (eastern Sichuan, Chongqing, northern Guizhou and Yunnan) may be more suitable for soybean cultivation. The investigation of condensation-induced water hammer (CIWH) under ocean conditions is crucial to the system safety of the offshore floating nuclear plants (OFNPs). This paper establishes a CIWH numerical model under rolling conditions based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code combined with user-defined functions (UDF). First, the numerical model is verified by published experimental data. Then, the transient behaviors of CIWH events under various rolling parameters are numerically investigated. The results show that the rolling motion causes a significant steam slug and enhances the steam-subcooled water contact area, which promotes the average condensation rate. The average condensation rate increases with an increase in rolling angle, decreases with an increase in rolling period. Due to the larger average condensation rate and reverse flow caused by rolling motion, the pressure peak generated by the CIWH significantly increases compared to static conditions. Similarly, the pressure peak increases as rolling angle increases, decreases as rolling period increase. Moreover, the pressure peak is proportional to steam inlet velocity, and the location of the pressure peak gradually moves back to the outlet direction as the steam velocity increases. These qualitative conclusions are useful to understand the effects of rolling motion on the CIWH and provide a reference for the CIWH simulations. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.
