Dynamic optimization for hypersonic reentry vehicle(HRV) is a challenge for complex nonlinear constraints during a global strike *** to the strong nonlinearity of HRV,it is difficult to guarantee the precision of complex constraints on non-collocation points with traditional Gauss pseudospectral method(GPM).A novel approach which provides an optimal control strategy considering the above challenges is then ***,an adaptive mesh refinement strategy based on curvature information is presented to improve the accuracy of GPM.A collocation point redistribution method based on error analysis is then proposed to further improve the accuracy of the ***,a detection mechanism is proposed to correct the results on-line when the path constraint is not *** proposed approaches are finally applied to a classic HRV problem and compared with other literature work in *** research results validate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Modern processors make use of optimization techniques such as cache and speculation mechanisms to greatly improve performance. But recent research has found that these techniques can also be exploited by attackers to perform powerful side-channel attacks. A large number of powerful cache-based attacks have been replicated and enhanced over Intel X86- and ARM-based architectures, but there is a relative lack of research on RISC-V-based architectures. Xuantie-910 and BOOM are both RISC-V-based processors. So far, cache-side channels in the unprivileged case of Xuantie-910 have not been proven, while cache attacks against BOOM are proliferating. There are two types of caches, including physically-indexed physically-tagged (PIPT) cache (adopted by Xuantie-910) and virtually-indexed physically-tagged (VIPT) cache (adopted by BOOM), corresponding to two different cache addressing forms. VIPT has higher addressing performance than PIPT, since it can directly obtain cache line index from virtual address. In this paper, we study Xuantie-910 and BOOM to explore the impact of cache design on the security of RISC-V-based microarchitecture. Specifically, we compare the impact of their cache addressing forms on precise flushing of cache lines at specified locations, which plays an important role in cache side-channel attacks. Experimental results show that for the VIPT cache in BOOM, the location-specified cache lines can be accurately flushed, and Spectre attack can be successfully carried out by using the cache side-channel. On the other hand, for the PIPT cache in Xuantie-910, it is impossible for attackers to directly and accurately flush the specified location of cache without affecting performance, which hinders the success of cache side-channel attacks. This provides us with an insight that one can adopt a VIPT-based cache with a mechanism similar to PIPT for preventing the accurate access of cache line index, which can not only keep the advantage of high-performance addre

Energy and Cost-Efficient Temperature Vacuum Swing Adsorption Processes for CO2 Capture in a Rotating Column Reactor

Solid polyamine as promising adsorbents were employed to reversible capture CO2 from humidity flue gas, and release CO2 at lower regeneration temperature (348K) with limited volatile and degradation of amine. Furthermore, it is extremely important to decrease the process costing and energy consumption by explore a proper CO2 capture process and corresponding parameters for further scale up and industrial application. Therefore, a temperature vacuum swing adsorption process for post-combustion CO2 capture from wet flue gas using the solid polyamine in a three-column fixed-bed system and a rotating column system was optimized and compared through mathematically modeling. CO2 recovery, energy consumption and CO2 capture cost performances present a significant enhancement using rotating column for CO2 separation compared to those of the fixed-bed system. The optimized rotating column process can save about 21.76% total CO2 Capture Cost as compared to the fixed-bed system, which is mainly attributed to the improving of CO2 recovery and the reduction of adsorbents cost. The optimum performance indices for capturing 12% CO2 from humidity flue gas using rotating column in terms of energy consumption, CO2 recovery and CO2 purity were 1.11 GJ/t CO2, 96.4% and 99.6% respectively. The simulation results indicate that the rotating column with temperature vacuum swing adsorption process is possible to be a cost and energy efficient post-combustion CO2 capture technology. © 2022, The Authors. 中国城市在全球碳减排中扮演着核心角色,然而中国城市间巨大的经济发展差异深刻影响了中国城市减排的进程.城际供应链连接了城市的生产和消费,被认为是塑造地区分化和减排疲软的因素之一,但该效应在先前的研究中往往没有得到充分的考虑.本文对2012年中国309个城市的供应链进行建模.利用该模型,我们揭示了城市间存在显著的碳不平等:中国最富裕的10个城市的人均碳足迹相当于美国的水平,而中国一半的城市则低于全球平均水平.然而,这种显著的碳不平等也蕴含着新的减排机遇,即对32个超高排放城市,根据其富裕程度、产业结构和供应链的位置采取不同的减排策略,将可创造高达1.4亿吨的碳配额,距离碳达峰值增加了30%的空间.额外的碳配额足够使经济发展欠发达人口的平均生活水平达到中上收入水平,突出了城市层面的合作机制具有促进公平和减排目标收敛的巨大潜力.

Misalignment tolerance improvement of loosely coupled transformer with ferromagnetic materials via genetic algorithm

In wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, misalignment between the primary and secondary coils can decrease the transmission efficiency of the loosely coupled transformer (LCT). Adding ferromagnetic materials or a relay coil is an effective solution for efficiency and misalignment tolerance improvement if extra eddy current loss and hysteresis loss on the ferromagnetic materials or the conduction loss caused by the relay coil is well controlled. The effect of ferrite cores on the transmission efficiency of two-coil and three-coil LCTs is analysed from the perspective of loss. By finite element analysis, the dimension of ferrite cores is optimised via the genetic algorithm to improve the efficiency and misalignment tolerance of the LCT. Optimal ferrite core dimension is also verified in a 1-kW WPT prototype, and experimental results show that, after optimisation, transmission efficiency of the two-coil LCT can be improved by 2.681% and 8.930% under alignment and the 200-mm misalignment, and with the proposed control strategy, transmission efficiency of the LCT is always above 94.925% under various misalignment conditions.

With the increasing demand of train-ground communication services, the reliability of The Fifth Generation Mobile Communication-Railway (5G-R) is significant to ensure the safety of train. The traditional transmission control protocol (TCP) is not suitable for the wireless environment of 5G-R. In this work, we propose a novel congestion control algorithm for 5G-R, namely TCP-E. The proposed algorithm is effective and reliable for the wireless network environment of high-speed railway (HSR). The phases of congestion avoidance, fast retransmission and fast recovery are redesigned. Moreover, we created a congestion control factor to judge the degree of network congestion and determine the reason of packet loss. To verify the performance of the proposed TCP-E, we deploy TCP-E in NS-3 and compare its performance with other TCP algorithms including Westwood, Vegas and TCP-Fit. A large number of simulations show that the average goodput, delay and jitter of TCP-E are better than the other three algorithms. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Super-resolution Reconstruction of Single Image for Latent features

Single-image super-resolution (SISR) typically focuses on restoring various degraded low-resolution (LR) images to a single high-resolution (HR) image. However, during SISR tasks, it is often challenging for models to simultaneously maintain high quality and rapid sampling while preserving diversity in details and texture features. This challenge can lead to issues such as model collapse, lack of rich details and texture features in the reconstructed HR images, and excessive time consumption for model sampling. To address these problems, this paper proposes a Latent Feature-oriented Diffusion Probability Model (LDDPM). First, we designed a conditional encoder capable of effectively encoding LR images, reducing the solution space for model image reconstruction and thereby improving the quality of the reconstructed images. We then employed a normalized flow and multimodal adversarial training, learning from complex multimodal distributions, to model the denoising distribution. Doing so boosts the generative modeling capabilities within a minimal number of sampling steps. Experimental comparisons of our proposed model with existing SISR methods on mainstream datasets demonstrate that our model reconstructs more realistic HR images and achieves better performance on multiple evaluation metrics, providing a fresh perspective for tackling SISR tasks. © 2022, CC0.

Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) localization is of significant importance as it provides fundamental position and orientation for autonomous operations like intelligent vehicles. Integrating diverse and complementary sensors such as global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and 4D-radar can provide scalable and reliable global localization. Nevertheless, multi-sensor fusion encounters challenges including heterogeneity and time-varying uncertainty in measurements. Consequently, developing a reliable and unified multi-sensor framework remains challenging. In this paper, we introduce UniMSF, a comprehensive multi-sensor fusion localization framework for ITS, utilizing factor graphs. By integrating a multi-sensor fusion front-end, alongside outlier detection&noise model estimation, and a factor graph optimization back-end, this framework accomplishes efficient fusion and ensures accurate localization for ITS. Specifically, in the multi-sensor fusion front-end module, we tackle the measurement heterogeneity among different modality sensors and establish effective measurement models. Reliable outlier detection and data-driven online noise estimation methods ensure that back-end optimization is immune to interference from outlier measurements. In addition, integrating multi-sensor observations via factor graph optimization offers the advantage of “plug and play”. Notably, our framework features high modularity and is seamlessly adapted to various sensor configurations. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework through real vehicle tests by tightly integrating GNSS pseudorange and carrier phase information with IMU, and 4D-radar.

Due to the widespread use of the JPEG format, non-aligned double JPEG (NA-DJPEG) compression is very common in image tampering. Therefore, non-aligned double JPEG compression detection has attracted significant attention in digital forensics in recent years. In most of the previous detection algorithms, grayscale images are used directly, or color images are first converted into grayscale images and then processed. However, it is worth noting that most tampered images are color images. To make full use of the color information in images, a detection algorithm, which uses color images directly, is put forward in this paper. The algorithm based on refined Markov in quaternion discrete cosine transform (QDCT) domain is proposed for NA-DJPEG compression detection. Firstly, color information of a given JPEG image is extracted from blocked images to construct quaternion, and then block image QDCT coefficient matrices, including amplitude and three angles (ψ, , and θ) can be obtained. Secondly, the refined Markov features are generated from the transition probability matrix in the corresponding refinement process. Our proposed refinement method not only reduces redundant features but also makes the acquired features more efficient in detection. Therefore, the refined Markov features can not only capture the intra-block correlation between block QDCT coefficients but also improve computing efficiency in real-time. Finally, support vector machine (SVM) method is employed for NA-DJPEG compression detection. The experiment results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm not only make use of color information of images, but also can achieve better detection performance with small size images (i.e., 64 × 64) outperforming state-of-the-art detection methods tested on the same dataset. © 2019, Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

Shift photovoltaic current (SPC) in polar non-centrosymmetric materials has recently emerged as a promising candidate for the next generation photovoltaic devices in which Shockley-Queisser limits are fully overcome. Here, we apply first principles calculations to predict colossal SPC in the slide bilayers of 2D h -BN and β-GeS vdW homostructures. The large SPC in slide bilayers h -BN and β-GeS reaches 49.3 µAV-2 and 130µ µAV-2 , respectively, in the ultra-violet (UV) region. Increasing the number of layers is further implemented to tune the band structure of the two homostructures. Consequently, giant SPC peaks about 3 times larger than those of the 2-layers is predicted at photon energies 7.40 eV and 5.95 eV in the 5-layers of h -BN and β-GeS, respectively. The two homostructures may thus be promising building blocks for next-generation shift current devices. These findings also suggest layering as a possible convenient approach of enhancing and also tuning the SPC output in thin layered materials. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.
