The global path planning of a traditional A* algorithm is investigated to obtain the shortest path, which considers only the straight-line distance between grids without considering the effects of road slope and road resistance on the path distance and the energy consumption for ground vehicles. The heuristic function of shortest path based on road slope and the heuristic function of minimum energy consumption based on road resistance coefficient are respectively developed in this paper. Combining the two improvements, a novel comprehensive heuristic function is proposed in this paper. Through the distribution of weight coefficients between the shortest path and the minimum energy consumption, one more reasonable path can be obtained. In addition, a bidirectional A* search algorithm is also applied. The case studies validate that the improved A* search algorithm in this paper can generate a more reasonable path considering the distance and the energy consumption.

Pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR) and WiFi fingerprint localization technologies have been widely used in the field of indoor localization. To reduce the limitation of the single localization technology, the PDR/WiFi integration method has become a widely accepted indoor localization solution. For indoor pedestrian real-time tracking and localization, due to the short time available to collect the received signal strength (RSS) and the high fluctuation of RSS, using only the RSS measurements as the RSS information will cause great localization errors. Therefore, this paper proposes an improved PDR/WiFi integration method to address the fluctuation problem of RSS for indoor pedestrian localization. The experimental results show that the localization accuracy of the proposed method outperforms the traditional PDR/WiFi integration method. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Deep reinforcement learning tends to have low sampling efficiency, and prioritized sampling algorithm can improve the sampling efficiency to a certain extent. The prioritized sampling algorithm can be used in deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm, and a small sample sorting method is proposed to solve the problem of high complexity of the common prioritized sampling algorithm. Simulation experiments prove that the improved deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm improves the sampling efficiency and the training performance is better. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

With the support of Beidou terminal of short message service system, the space science satellite can transmit all-day data that are astronomical alert data such as gravitational waves and Gamma ray bursts and satellite telemetry parameters. Then Beidou message service system has become an important means for finding the space astronomical events quickly, planning the follow-up observation and monitoring the real-time health of satellite and payloads. Then the application fields of the Beidou system has expanded into space science observation and satellite emergency operation. The short message data receiving and processing in ground system has many features of near real-time and continuity which is different from the processing methods of satellite data transmitted by data channel and telemetry channel. And the multi-source satellite data of the telemetry parameters and the astronomical alert information from these three channels need to be integrated. So, the real-time processing system of satellite data based on Beidou short message transmission has great challenges. In this paper, we explored an organization method of Beidou short messages, and proposed a multi-source data fusion algorithm for the ground satellite data processing system. The data processing system with this method was designed and implemented. Applying to the ground system of the satellite named gravitational wave high-energy electromagnetic counterpart all-sky monitor, the performance analysis of improved system shows that the processing delay for important telemetry parameters and astronomical alert information is greatly shortened from average nine hours to several minutes. Load forecasting is fundamental to the security risk analysis of the power system operation. However, the historical data required for load forecasting often suffers from missing values due to sensor failures, communication disruptions, and other factors, leading to a decline in forecasting accuracy. The ARIMA-based time series model has unique advantages in generating missing data. However, current research on ARIMA mainly focuses on data generation in a single data dimension and often overlooks the correction of anomalies in the original load data, which severely reduces the accuracy of data generation. To address this, a method for generating short-term missing load data based on adaptive rate correction and bidirectional ARIMA models is proposed. First, an adaptive rate detection model is used to detect anomalous data, and the weight coefficients are optimized by minimizing the Mean Squared Error (MSE) to correct the anomalies. Then, a bidirectional ARIMA model is established for missing data generation. Finally, using historical load data from a city as an example, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.

As the penetration rate of new energy increases, the inertia and damping of the power system gradually decrease, and stability problems become increasingly prominent. Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) technology has gained widespread attention and application as an effective means to improve the ability of new energy power generation systems to actively support the power grid, therefore, the research of impact of VSG on system transient stability has also become a hot spot. Firstly, analysis method of transient angle stability of power system is introduced, then the influence of conventional Doubly-fed Induction Generator (DFIG) on transient angle stability of system is analyzed, based on which, key issues and research status of transient angle stability of system with VSG-based DFIG are investigated in detail, finally prospection of further study of transient angle stability of system with VSG-based DFIG are proposed. © 2020 IEEE.

Winding status is an important part of transformer fault diagnosis. In this paper, the diagnosis test platform includes a reduced-scale transformer with the connection group model of Ynyn0, and its voltage ratio is 10 kV/0.4 kV. The voltage response of single-phase windings of three-winding transformers with varying degrees of short-circuit faults is measured under a damped oscillation wave with an amplitude of 4 kV and an equivalent frequency of 20 kHz. The transfer function of high-voltage phase and its corresponding low-voltage phase in the normal and fault condition is calculated. Three characteristic criterion of the transfer function are analysed in order to diagnose short-circuit faults in single-phase windings of three-winding transformers. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Proving Cypher Query Equivalence

Graph database systems store graph data as nodes and relationships, and utilize graph query languages (e.g., Cypher) for efficiently querying graph data. Proving the equivalence of graph queries is an important foundation for optimizing graph query performance, ensuring graph query reliability, etc. Although researchers have proposed many SQL query equivalence provers for relational database systems, these provers cannot be directly applied to prove the equivalence of graph queries. The difficulty lies in the fact that graph query languages (e.g., Cypher) adopt significantly different data models (property graph model vs. relational model) and query patterns (graph pattern matching vs. tabular tuple calculus) from SQL. In this paper, we propose GraphQE, an automated prover to determine whether two Cypher queries are semantically equivalent. We design a U-semiring based Cypher algebraic representation to model the semantics of Cypher queries. Our Cypher algebraic representation is built on the algebraic structure of unbounded semirings, and can sufficiently express nodes and relationships in property graphs and complex Cypher queries. Then, determining the equivalence of two Cypher queries is transformed into determining the equivalence of the corresponding Cypher algebraic representations, which can be verified by SMT solvers. To evaluate the effectiveness of GraphQE, we construct a dataset consisting of 148 pairs of equivalent Cypher queries. Among them, we have successfully proven 138 pairs of equivalent Cypher queries, demonstrating the effectiveness of GraphQE. © 2025, CC BY.

Thanks to the development of deep learning, machine abnormal sound detection (MASD) based on unsupervised learning has exhibited excellent performance. However, in the task of unsupervised MASD, there are discrepancies between the acoustic characteristics of the test set and the training set under the physical parameter changes (domain shifts) of the same machine's operating conditions. Existing methods not only struggle to stably learn the sound signal features under various domain shifts but also inevitably increase computational overhead. To address these issues, we propose an unsupervised machine abnormal sound detection model based on Transformer and Dynamic Graph Convolution (Unsuper-TDGCN) in this paper. Firstly, we design a network that models time-frequency domain features to capture both global and local spatial and time-frequency interactions, thus improving the model's stability under domain shifts. Then, we introduce a Dynamic Graph Convolutional Network (Dy-GCN) to model the dependencies between features under domain shifts, enhancing the model's ability to perceive changes in domain features. Finally, a Domain Self-adaptive Network (DSN) is employed to compensate for the performance decline caused by domain shifts, thereby improving the model's adaptive ability for detecting anomalous sounds in MASD tasks under domain shifts. Among different approaches to generate mirrorless lasing, resonant multiphoton pumping of gas constituents by deep-UV laser pulses exhibits so far the highest efficiency and produces measurable lasing energies, but the underlying mechanism was not yet fully settled. Here, we report lasing generation from atomic oxygen in a methane-air flame via femtosecond two-photon excitation. Temporal profiles of the lasing pulses were measured for varying concentrations of atomic oxygen, which shows that the peak intensity and time delay of the lasing pulse approximately scales as N and 1/N, respectively, where N represents the concentration. These scaling laws match well with the prediction of oscillatory superfluorescence (SF), indicating that the lasing we observed is essentially SF rather than amplified spontaneous emission. In addition, the quantum-beating effect was also observed in the time-resolved lasing pulse. A theoretical simulation based on nonadiabatic Maxwell-Bloch equations well reproduces the experimental observations of the temporal dynamics of the lasing pulses. These results on fundamentals should be beneficial for the better design and applications of lasing-based techniques.
