Color harmony is the result of objective color matching and human subjective feeling. This paper aims to study the subjective and objective factors of color harmony and carry out mathematical models between them. Firstly, we constructed a color data set commonly used three-color combinations. Secondly, we analyzed the subjective and objective factors affecting color harmony, extracted the 36-dimensional objective physical features, and divided subjective factors into direct psychological factors and indirect psychological factors. Then, based on color harmony and its subjective factors, a total of 33 subjects evaluated 150 three-color combinations on a five-level scale. Finally, the mathematical models of color harmony were constructed by machine learning algorithms. The research shows that color harmony is not only affected by objective factors, but also by subjective factors, and the influence of subjective factors is greater. In addition, the multiple linear regression algorithm plays best on color harmony predicting, which can better explain the color harmony mechanism. © 2023 IEEE.

An enhanced approach utilizing APF(artificial potential field) method is introduced in this paper. By adopting this approach, the challenge of local minima that may occur when dealing with local path planning for unmanned vehicles is tackled. When the unmanned vehicle approaches an obstacle, a virtual attractive potential field is implemented, utilizing the deviation in the heading angle of the vehicle to control the steering angle. Consequently, the vehicle can avoid obstacles, resolving the issue of local minima and enabling its application in path planning for multi-unmanned vehicles. The ROS with Gazebo simulation platform is used to verify the enhanced algorithm’s effectiveness in multi-unmanned vehicle path planning in an unknown environment. © Beijing HIWING Scientific and Technological Information Institute 2024.

Since sub-synchronous oscillations have been frequently witnessed in large-scale wind farms under weak grid conditions, it is significant to predict the critical stability situations in short term so that timely preventative actions can be taken to avoid potential small-signal stability (SS) risks. To this end, this paper proposes a SS prediction approach based on the grid strength metric of generalized short-circuit ratio (gSCR) under the mechanism of vertical federated learning. Specifically, the improved ridge regression prediction model is employed and its corresponding distributed training and the distributed predicting are derived by utilizing the separable characteristic of gradient vector calculation in the context of federated learning. On this basis, the original largescale predicting problem is decomposed into a large number of small-scale subproblems, and each subproblem is calculated locally by the corresponding wind farm. The feature data information of adjacent wind farms can be effectively used to improve the accuracy of the prediction of the stability margin while ensuring the data privacy and security of all participants. Finally, simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach under various scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, micromanipulator with dual end-effectors called microhand has been widely used in industrial and biological fields. Whether the tip positions of the two end-effectors of the microhand can be accurately aligned seriously affects the precise grasping of the microhand. However, few researchers have presented practical ways for precisely aligning the tip positions of a 6-DOF microhand's two end- effectors. This paper proposes a novel, inexpensive, lightweight, robust, and easy-to-use microhand dual end-effectors clamping device that can precisely and quickly align the two end-effectors of a 6-DOF microhand. First, we describe the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device's lightweight structural design. After that, we simplify the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device model and create a mathematical model to determine the relationship between the end-effectors' tip position and the rotation angles of screw No.1, screw No.2, screw No.3 of the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device. Through experimentation, we are able to attain precise alignment of the two end-effectors tip positions of the 6-DOF microhand, so we confirm that our mathematical model is true. Finally, we use the impulse response of PZT in the microhand's lower module to confirm the stability of the microhand dual end- effectors clamping device. We believe that the proposed the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device has great potential in industrial and biological applications as a universal tool for precise alignment of the tip positions of the two end-effectors of a 6-DOF microhand. © 2024 IEEE.

To implement the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, improving market mechanism to maximize the utilization of energy storage is attracting more and more attention. This paper addresses the trading strategy of independent energy storage station participating in both energy market and frequency regulation market. A restrictive coefficient of available capacity of energy storage participating in frequency regulation market is introduced, which characterizes the constraints of the energy storage between the two markets. Consequently, the market optimization model with the restrictive coefficient is constructed. Then, different strategies are set based on the capacity allocation of energy storage in the two markets, and the energy storage station's role and revenue are analyzed. Simulations under different participation strategies are done, the results show that with the increase of renewable energy connected to the grid, taking the energy storage more as an excellent frequency regulation resource is beneficial to renewable energy consumption and system operation. © 2023 IEEE.

Increasing intense human activities have largely changed the coastal landscape and caused many environmental ***,whether human-induced activities could change the coastal land use gradient pattern,an important coastal zonal characteristic along the sea-land direction,remains *** Bay was selected as the study area in this *** to the distance of the land use and land cover(LULC)to the coastline,we clustered the typical coastal land use sequence patterns(CLUSPs)along the sea-land direction between 1988 and 2016 in Manila Bay and found the following.(1)Four typical CLUSPs,including the natural CLUSP dominated by forest land and grassland,the agricultural CLUSP dominated by dry farm and paddy field,the urbanised CLUSP dominated by construction land and the fishery CLUSP dominated by fishing farm,were mined in *** typical CLUSPs(a natural CLUSP,an intermediate CLUSP between the agricultural and urbanised CLUSPs,and a fishery CLUSP)were mined in 2016.(2)Affected by the dominant LULC,these typical CLUSPs showed a regular spatial pattern along the sea-land *** example,the typical natural CLUSP showed a landward pattern due to the long distance between the forest land and grassland and the coastline.(3)However,influenced by urban and aquaculture expansion,the land intensification of the CLUSP exhibited an obvious increase and caused the decrease of the CLUSP diversity from 1988 to *** increase in the area of LULC coverage showed no obvious correlation with its distance from the coastline(DFC),but the net increase rate of LULC coverage had a significant negative correlation with the ***,human-induced activities have a large impact on the gradient pattern of coastal land use along the sea-land direction.

Under the background of increasingly serious off-grid problems of renewable energy, this paper analyzes the impact of large-scale off-grid of renewable energy and voltage stability in the weakly interconnected system. First, an improved index is proposed based on Simpson formula for assessing transient voltage stability and achieving early warning of instability risk. Then, based on the simulation of a real-life UHV (Ultra-high voltage) weakly interconnected system, two typical cascading failure scenarios are reasonably anticipated. These cascading failures contain a series of renewable energy off-grid and blocking of DC transmission caused by different initial failures, whose voltage stability is evaluated by the proposed index. Besides, the nature of cascading failure evolution is analyzed. Finally, accuracy and efficient of the proposed index are verified. © 2023 IEEE.
