This paper introduces the similarity evaluation on humanoid facial expression. For the purpose of understanding easily, firstly, the process of designing humanoid robot's facial expressions is explored in brief. Then, a similarity function is proposed to evaluate the similarity of the robot facial motion compared with the human being quantitatively based on both the kinematics and dynamics factors, also including how to select the key value of parameter in similarity function. Finally, the effectiveness of the similarity function is confirmed by an experiment of facial expressions based on BHR-4 robot.

Internet inquiry is playing an increasingly important role as the complement of the traditional medical service system,especially the similar cases *** can not only save the patients' waiting time,but also make use of the historical resources,for many cases with the same purpose have been solved ***,because of the diversity and non-standard of the patients' descriptions,the inquiry platform cannot find the cases with similar semantic *** traditional retrieval methods require the overlap of two sentences,and this is not suitable with the diversity and non-standard *** this paper,we try to utilize the sentences' semantic representation in a continuous space to understand the cases,and then recommend the similar *** also incorporate it into query likelihood language models,trying to get better *** experimental data are all collected from a real internet inquiry platform,and the results show that our methods significantly outperform the state-of-the-art translation based methods for similar cases recommendation.

Similar to other major electrical apparatuses, the reliability and stability of the dc network is becoming the most important issue when using the voltage-source-converter-based multiterminal dc (VSC-MTDC) system for offshore wind power integration. A coordinated control strategy of VSC-MTDC named master-auxiliary is proposed by combining the advantages of the voltage margin and voltage droop control. This strategy has three advantages. First, the master converter station with the constant dc voltage control can provide reference to the system dc voltage and is helpful for the stabilization of dc voltage. Second, the integrated control of the dc voltage in both master and auxiliary converter stations are helpful for providing adequate active power control (APC) and restraining large power variation. Third, the APC converter station can serve as a backup for the dc voltage control in abnormal conditions. In order to guarantee the reliability and stability of the system under various operating conditions, this paper introduces the priority of dc voltage control to the coordination control strategy. Moreover, a parameter optimizing method of controllers for this strategy is also proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the master-auxiliary control is verified by simulations under normal and abnormal conditions. © 2015 IEEE.

The major obstacle toward wind farm integration is power mismatch between wind output and grid desirable generation due to wind uncertainty and negative effect on peak load regulation. Storage can be used as assistance to reduce this mismatch. Needed storage capacity for full level of assistance is acceptable only for small-scale wind farm with qualified matching requirement. But when it comes to large-scale one, capacity is huge and unacceptable. In this paper, a matching desirable generation (MDG) pattern with autonomous storage control strategy is proposed to quantify the level of storage assistance. The minimum storage capacity to achieve a qualified matching requirement, i.e. needed capacity merely to reduce uncertainty and no peak load regulation, is presented. Mathematical model of wind-storage sizing problem is established to seek a trade-off between electricity profit and storage investment with matching probability constrain. Markovian steady-state sizing method is proposed to reduce computational burden. Numerical tests show that matching probability can achieve 96% with almost no benefit reduction when assisted storage capacity is only about 25% of average wind power, and proposed sizing method is fast and accurate due to the ability of handling large dataset.

Electric railway brings many power quality problems to the public power system. In this paper, a new power quality improvement method is proposed which can alleviate the voltage unbalance and low power factor problem of electric systems. The method is composed of a specially connected three phase to two phase transformer and a phase balancing device. The specially connected transformer has the following common characteristic: secondary voltages are equal in magnitude and differ 90 degrees in phase angle. Such transformers include Scott Transformer, Le-Blanc Transformer, and modified Wood-bridge Transformer and so on. The phase balancing device consists of two parts: one is used to regulate the power factor to unity;the other part is to transfer power flow between the two feeders, thus balancing their loads. With the proposed scheme, negative current can be eliminated and power factor can be regulated to unity. The advantage of the new method is that it is very simple and cost-effective. Validity of the proposed method is verified by simulation results. The capacity of the compensation device is also analyzed in the paper.

The power system reliability sensitivity analysis can recognize weak parts of the system. It is significant for system reliability assessment and enhancement. Against deficiencies in conventional reliability sensitivity analysis, this paper proposes an improved method by analyzing graphical representations of sensitivity and practical engineering requirements. This method meets real needs better and keeps the calculating errors of reliability indices from impacting results of component sensitivity assessment effectively. What's more, cooperating with the generalized power network reliability analysis, the suggested method can estimate and compare the sensitivity of commonly-used primary equipments in power system directly, satisfying the needs for maintenance strategy better.

The accuracy of transformer parameters is critical for power system analysis and control decision. In practice, the parameters of a transformer may deviate from its factory values due to the influence of environment and equipment aging. An improved model is presented in this paper to identify transformer parameters based on WAMS and SCADA data. Relative errors are considered in the objective function. Cases with different objective functions are examined. The accuracy and convergence of the different method are compared.

Fault transient analysis plays an important role in protection and fault location research for high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines. Fault transient simulation methods and analysis for HVDC transmission lines are detailed presented in this paper, to avoid repetitive tasks and waste of research efforts. Influences of the control system, operation modes and direct current (DC) filter links on the fault transient simulation analysis for HVDC transmission lines are discussed. Transient characteristics of voltages and currents on HVDC transmission lines for faults on HVDC transmission lines, lightning strokes and commutation failures are analyzed, and corresponding simulation methods are also given.

In order to provide more decision-making information and improve the effects of probabilistic forecasting, a novel wind power probabilistic forecasting approach based on Markov chain model of variation is proposed in this paper. The transition probabilities matrix of Markov chain model is built from the variations of historical wind power data to compute probability distributions and deterministic wind generation at future moments. Refined state space is built because the value of variation is much smaller than wind generation, which could improve the prediction accuracy. The effectiveness and higher accuracy of proposed approach are proved by actual data from wind farm.

Line break fault is becoming more and more frequent in 10kV neutral point non-grounded distribution system. This paper takes 10kV distribution line single-phase line break fault as the research object, analyzes the characteristics of electrical quantities when single-phase line break fault occurs, including single-phase line break without grounding point, single-phase line break with grounding at power supply side and single-phase line break with grounding at load side. Electrical quantities during single-phase line break fault are analyzed using symmetrical component method with sequence network and vector diagram, the variation of electrical quantities are summarized, and protection criterion for single-phase line break fault is proposed. Simulation results by PSCAD/EMTDC ensure the correctness of the analysis results and line break protection criterion.
