The traditional color system of Beijing Forbidden City is comprehensive and complex. The research focuses on collecting color data from the Forbidden City, analyzing subjective and objective color attributes, and compute architectural color image scale. First this research used K-means algorithm to extract the theme color cards of Beijing Forbidden City. Subsequently, single colors were extracted using the idea of community detection, and matching colors were extracted based on the thought of association rule mining. Then this research extracted objective attributes of colors and designed experiments to quantify subjective attributes. Finally, the color subjective and objective data fitting was completed. This outcome is helpful for the digital preservation of traditional colors and the advancement of color culture inheritance practices.

Polar body biopsy has been widely applied in the preimplantation genetic diagnosis and oocyte screen for assisted reproductive technology. The key step in the polar body biopsy is picking up the polar body using a micropipette. However, the almost transparent appearance of the polar body and its dynamic motion with the micropipette moving inside the oocyte makes it a challenging task to pick up the polar body. In this paper, a defocus imaging method is proposed to locate the polar body with an almost transparent appearance. Then, the dynamic drift of the polar body with the micropipette moving inside the cell is analyzed to determine a trajectory of the micropipette suitable for picking up the polar body. Finally, a PID-based motion control of the micropipette is developed to move the micropipette tip along the above trajectory to approach the polar body. The experimental results on porcine oocytes show that the success rate of polar body localization based on defocus imaging technology reaches 90%. Moving along the determined trajectory inside the oocyte, the micropipette is capable of approaching the polar body with an average error less than 5 μm, success rate can reach 90% (18/20), paving the solid ground for robotic picking up of the polar body.

The fault transient characteristics of power grids have undergone a fundamental transformation as a consequence of the advent of hybrid scale access to power grids by new energy sources. Nevertheless, the existing stand-alone equivalent model is unable to accurately characterise the fault transient characteristics of the hybrid light-water-wind electric field/cluster. Furthermore, the simulation computation of the stand-alone equivalent model is considerable in scale and the simulation efficiency is low. This paper proposes a particle swarm neural network-based clustered equivalent modelling method for a light-water-wind hybrid electric field. Firstly, a transient model of the light-water-wind hybrid electric field is established, and the characteristic influence factors of faults are constructed through theoretical analysis. These include the distance between the light-water-wind hybrid electric field and the point of common coupling (PCC), the input of current limiting measures on the DC side, the light, the water speed, the wind speed, and the reactive power at the outlet. Subsequently, the Euclidean distance is calculated for the set of characteristic influencing factors, and the initial centre of clustering of wind turbines is extracted based on the improved maximum-minimum distance method. Ultimately, the clustering equivalent modelling is accomplished through the utilisation of the aforementioned feature influencing factors and the classification initial centre as the training set. The simulation results show that compared with the single-machine equivalent model, The simulation error has been reduced from the order of magnitude of 10-2 p.u. to the order of magnitude of 10-4 p.u., while the simulation efficiency of this method is has been reduced from the order of magnitude of 10-2 s to the order of magnitude of 10-4 s. © 2024 IEEE.

Design of Planar Antenna and Space Deployable Mast Based on a New 8r Origami Mechanism

The modular origami mechanism has great application prospect. In this paper, origami based on 8R mechanism is designed, the mechanism can be array. The kinematics of the 8R origami mechanism is analyzed, and the model reconstruction and motion bifurcation of the mechanism are found. There are two kinds of 8R mechanism that can satisfy the array: MMMN mechanism and NNNM mechanism. The motion bifurcation and model reconstruction of the mechanism are avoided in the design of thickness-plate origami. Taking into account the bearing capacity of the mechanism, the 8R mechanism of heavy plate origami is designed. The motion bifurcation and model reconstruction of the mechanism are avoided in the design of thickness-plate origami. The twisting direction of MMMN mechanism and NNNM mechanism is opposite. The planar antenna is designed using multiple MMMN mechanisms. The spread area of the planar antenna reaches 1350〖cm〗^2. NNNM mechanism and MMMN mechanism are used to design space deployable mast. The performance of planar antenna and space deployable mast is tested. The space deployable mast has a self-locking function in the unfolded state. The space deployable mast has a load-carrying capacity of more than 41N and requires only 6N folding force. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

It is challenging to predict the patterns of radiated acoustic field from a complex moving source while this topic is important in the field of ocean acoustics. A possible method is to decompose the complex field into the addition of fundamental sources such as monopolar and dipolar ones. In this study, we derive the analytical solution of radiated acoustic fields generated by a moving monopolar or dipolar source, and the combination of them based on the Lorentz transformation. The analytical expressions of the radiated sound pressure by a moving monopolar or dipolar source are given with no limit on the moving direction and excitation frequency. Numerical simulations are conducted to reveal the Doppler effect of the moving sources and the potential application of the combination of monopolar and dipolar sources to simulate complex fields. This work may help design acoustic models to predict the radiated sound field by complex sources in the field of ocean engineering.

Despite the huge accumulation of scientific literature,it is inefficient and laborious to manually search it for useful information to investigate structure-activity ***,we propose an efficient text-mining framework for the discovery of credible and valuable domain knowledge from abstracts of scientific literature focusing on Nickel-based single crystal ***,the credibility of abstracts is quantified in terms of source timeliness,publication authority and author’s academic ***,eight entity types and domain dictionaries describing Nickel-based single crystal superalloys are predefined to realize the named entity recognition from the abstracts,achieving an accuracy of 85.10%.Thirdly,by formulating 12 naming rules for the alloy brands derived from the recognized entities,we extract the target entities and refine them as domain knowledge through the credibility *** this,we also map out the academic cooperative“Author-Literature-Institute”network,characterize the generations of Nickel-based single crystal superalloys,as well as obtain the fractions of the most important chemical elements in *** extracted rich and diverse knowledge of Nickel-based single crystal superalloys provides important insights toward understanding the structure-activity relationships for Nickel-based single crystal superalloys and is expected to accelerate the design and discovery of novel superalloys.

A time- and wavelength-division multiplexed interrogation system for weak fiber Bragg grating (WFBG) array based on the tunable reconstruction-equivalent-chirp distributed feedback (REC-DFB) laser array is introduced. This system can simultaneously and accurately acquire the sensing positions and achieve reflection spectra of multiple identical WFBG array with various central wavelengths, enhancing FBG interrogation accuracy and capacity while reducing the system cost. © 2024 IEEE.

Colloidal quantum dots(CQDs)are affected by the quantum confinement effect,which makes their bandgap *** characteristic allows these materials to cover a broader infrared spectrum,providing a costeffective alternative to traditional infrared detector ***,thanks to the solution processing properties of quantum dots and their ability to integrate with silicon-based readout circuits on a single chip,infrared detectors based on HgTe CQDs have shown great application ***,facing the challenges of vertically stacked photovoltaic devices,such as barrier layer matching and film non-uniformity,most devices integrated with readout circuits still use a planar structure,which limits the efficiency of light absorption and the effective separation and collection of photo-generated ***,by synthesizing high-quality HgTe CQDs and precisely controlling the interface quality,we have successfully fabricated a photovoltaic detector based on HgTe and ZnO *** a working temperature of 80 K,this detector achieved a low dark current of 5.23×10^(-9)A cm^(-2),a high rectification ratio,and satisfactory detection *** work paves a new way for the vertical integration of HgTe CQDs on silicon-based readout circuits,demonstrating their great potential in the field of high-performance infrared detection.

GaN-based digital integrated circuits (ICs) are constructed on the commercially available GaN-on-Si p-GaN platform. The functions of inverter, NAND, AND, NOR, and OR logic circuits are successfully realized based on direct-coupled field-effect transistor logic (DCFL) structure. Under a drive voltage of 5V and a load ratio of 20, the low output (VOL) can reach as low as 0.1V. Additionally, a functional-oriented driver is constructed. All the transient tests at frequencies up to 100 kHz exhibit excellent performance characteristics.

A wideband fast-sweeping tunable laser array has been designed and fabricated based on reconstruction-equivalent-chirp (REC) technique. The total continuous wavelength tuning range of the multiwavelength laser array is greater than 48 nm with a sweep speed of 5 kHz. By continuous measuring of a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) utilizing the wavelength-swept DFB laser array, it shows a maximum wavelength deviation of less than 2 pm, demonstrating a good wavelength sweeping repeatability. © 2024 IEEE.
