Surface plasmon assisted high-performance photodetectors based on hybrid TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag heterostructure

In this work,we reported a high-performance-based ultraviolet-visible(UV-VIS)photodetector based on a TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag *** particles were introduced into TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)to enhance the visible light detection perfor-mance of the heterojunction *** 380 nm,the responsivity and detectivity of TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag were 0.94 A/W and 4.79×109 Jones,respectively,and they increased to 2.86 A/W and 7.96×1010 Jones at 580 *** rise and fall times of the response were 0.19/0.23 and 0.50/0.57 s,***,at 580 nm,the responsivity of fabricated devices is one to four orders of magnitude higher than that of the photodetectors based on TiO_(2),Ga_(2)O_(3),and other *** excellent optoelectronic characteristics of the TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag heterojunction device could be mainly attributed to the synergistic effect of the type-Ⅱband structure of the metal-semiconductor-metal heterojunction and the plasmon resonance effect of Ag,which not only effectively promotes the separation of photogenerated carriers but also reduces the recombination *** is fur-ther illuminated by finite difference time domain method(FDTD)simulation and photoelectric *** TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag arrays with high-efficiency detection are suitable candidates for applications in energy-saving communica-tion,imaging,and sensing networks.

Partial Solution Operator Discretization-Based Methods for Efficiently Computing Least-Damped Eigenvalues of Large Time Delayed Power systems

To investigate impact of time delays on the small signal stability of power systems, the least-damped eigenvalues with the smallest damping ratios have been calculated by eigen-analysis methods based on Solution Operator Discretization (SOD) with Pseudo-Spectral collocation (PS) and Implicit Runge-Kutta (IRK) methods. This paper evolves SOD-PSIIRK into their partial counterparts, i.e., PSOD-PSIIRK, with greatly enhanced efficiency and reliability in analyzing large-scale time delayed power systems. Compared with SOD-PSIIRK, PSOD-PSIIRK are characterized in constructing low order discretization matrices of solution operator as well as efficiently and directly solving the embedded Matrix-Inverse-Vector Products (MIVPs). The dimensions of the discretization matrices of solution operator are largely reduced as only the retarded state variables are discretized, rather than all state variables as in SOD-PSIIRK. Meanwhile, the proposed PSOD-PSIIRK optimize the most computationally expensive operations in SOD-PSIIRK by avoiding the iterative solutions to the two embedded MIVPs. PSOD-PS/IRK directly and efficiently compute the MIVPs via factorizing the Kronecker product-like discretization matrices of the solution operator into Schur complements. The Central China-North China ultra-high-voltage power grid with 80577 state variables serves to validate the proposed PSOD-PSIIRK and shows that compared with SOD-PSIIRK, the computational time consumed by PSOD-PSIIRK is cut down by 49.96 times without loss of any accuracy.

The space manipulator plays an integral role in the assembly and construction of the China space station. The grapple fixture is positioned at designated locations on the space station as the foundation for the space manipulator. It is utilized in conjunction with the space manipulator to capture target objects and complete crawling tasks. The performance of the space manipulator is directly impacted by the grapple fixture, and a failure of the grapple fixture can even jeopardize the space station mission. This paper analyzed the maintenance requirements of the grapple fixture, proposed a maintenance system for it, and executed replacement tasks with the assistance of maintenance tools and astronauts in orbit. The feasibility of this approach is verified through ground testing and simulation analysis. The results will serve as a valuable reference and engineering guidance for future space manipulator maintenance. © 2023 IEEE.

An equivalent modeling method for integrated water-wind-solar systems based on sparrow search algorithm

In the context of extensive integration of renewable energy sources into the electrical grid, the grid's fault transient behaviors have undergone significant changes. However, conventional single-unit equivalent models fail to accurately capture the fault transient responses of combined wind-solar-hydro power stations and often require substantial computational resources, leading to reduced simulation efficiency. This study proposes a cluster-based equivalent modeling approach for hybrid wind-solar-hydro power plants using the Sparrow Search Algorithm. key factors influencing fault characteristics, including the distance to the Point of Common Coupling, DC-side current-limiting measures, irradiance levels, water flow rates, wind speeds, and reactive power at the outlet, are identified and used to construct a transient model. Euclidean distances are computed for these factors, and initial clustering centers for wind turbines are determined using an improved max–min distance technique. These factors and clustering centers serve as the training dataset to establish the clustering equivalent model. Simulation results, conducted on the MATLAB2022 platform, demonstrate that the SSA-based model outperforms the single-unit equivalent model by over 150 times in terms of accuracy. Additionally, the SSA-based model achieves a delay time, defined as the time required to compute the system's transient response after a fault, of less than 5 ms, which is less than one-twentieth of the delay time of the single-unit equivalent model. These improvements highlight the model's ability to accurately capture dynamic power responses under various disturbances, making it highly suitable for real-time applications in hybrid renewable energy systems. © The Author(s) 2025.

The task scheduling problem based on directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) has been proven to be NP-complete in general cases or under certain restrictions. In this paper, building upon existing scheduling algorithms, we introduce a static task scheduling algorithm based on directed acyclic graphs. By incorporating the proportion of task transmission delay as a guiding metric in the optimization process, processors can be prioritized for tasks with high latency, thereby improving computational efficiency. We first validate the theoretical feasibility of the algorithm using a theoretical case study and illustrate the algorithmic effectiveness using two real case studies, direct current (DC) model and alternating current (AC) model respectively. The research indicates that the scheduling algorithm proposed in this paper achieves an average scheduling length improvement of over 1.2% compared to the Heterogeneous Earliest-Finish-Time algorithm (HEFT) in topologies with high latency tasks. Additionally, the experiments show that the HEFT algorithm consumes 39.85us and the EMT-DM algorithm consumes 38.29us during simulation using DC, and the HEFT algorithm consumes 31.23us and the EMT-DM algorithm consumes 26.51us during simulation using AC, both of which are improved compared to the HEFT algorithm. © The Author(s) 2025.

Bug localization based on syntactical and semantic information of source code

The existing software bug localization models treat the source file as natural language, which leads to the loss of syntactical and structure information of the source file. A bug localization model based on syntactical and semantic information of source code is proposed. Firstly, abstract syntax tree(AST) is divided based on node category to obtain statement sequence. The statement tree is encoded into vectors to capture lexical and syntactical knowledge at the statement ***, the source code is transformed into vector representation by the sequence naturalness of the statement. Therefore,the problem of gradient vanishing and explosion caused by a large AST size is obviated when using AST to the represent source code. Finally, the correlation between bug reports and source files are comprehensively analyzed from three aspects of syntax, semantics and text to locate the buggy code. Experiments show that compared with other standard models, the proposed model improves the performance of bug localization, and it has good advantages in mean reciprocal rank(MRR), mean average precision(MAP) and Top N Rank.

After the thin slab continuous casting and rolling production line of a domestic steel plant was put into operation, with the vigorous development of hot-dip galvanized products, the strip blackening defect on the surface became more prominent. After hot-dip galvanizing, the coil had a certain spacing of strip black spot defects on the surface, which could not meet the needs of high-end users and restricted the improvement of the manufacturing capacity of the headless production ***, this article uses scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), three-dimensional profilometer, and optical microscope (OM) to study the microscopic characteristics and causes of black spot defects on the surface of hot-dip galvanized steel. There are a large number of oxidized black spots on the surface of the stripe black area. The zinc layer thickness of the cross-section at the blackened area is smaller than that of the normal area, and the secondary dendrites inside the zinc layer at the blackened area are not well-developed in the normal area. The surface roughness Ra and Rt of the blackened position in the three-dimensional morphology display show significant differences from the normal position. Electron microscopy observation shows that the grain size of the substrate at the blackened area is different from that at the normal area after removing the zinc layer, which is the direct cause of the final surface showing stripe black spot defects. By optimizing the heating temperature uniformity of the IH on the thin slab continuous casting and rolling production line, the stripe black spot defects were ultimately eliminated. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper introduces the design and experimental evaluation of WLR-III, which stands for the third-generation hydraulic wheel-legged robot. WLR-III is expected to be applied to disaster scenarios where the mobility, adaptability and manipulation capability are required. Based on the development of the previous two generations of wheel-legged robots, this work continuously optimizes the design to achieve higher mobility and stronger adaptability by reducing weight & inertia. The hydraulic power transmission system adopts a hose-less design method to ensure the robustness of the system. What's more prominent is that the successful development of hydraulic power unit (HPU) enables WLR-III to realize hydraulic power autonomy. In addition, to accomplish all kinds of operational tasks in the rescue scene, the electro-hydraulic hybrid drives anthropomorphic arms with heavy load grippers were developed. Finally, the effectiveness and reliability of design optimization have been evaluated through a series of experiments, including grassland movement, load bearing, obstacle-stepping and tool-operating. To the authors' best knowledge, this is the first time that a hydraulic powered autonomous wheel-legged humanoid robot with the ability to operate simple tools has been developed. © 2023 IEEE.

Wafer map defect patterns classification based on a lightweight network and data augmentation

Accurately identifying defect patterns in wafer maps can help engineers find abnormal failure factors in production *** the wafer testing stage,deep learning methods are widely used in wafer defect detection due to their powerful feature extraction ***,most of the current wafer defect patterns classification models have high complexity and slow detection speed,which are difficult to apply in the actual wafer production *** addition,there is a data imbalance in the wafer dataset that seriously affects the training results of the *** reduce the complexity of the deep model without affecting the wafer feature expression,this paper adjusts the structure of the dense block in the PeleeNet network and proposes a lightweight network WM‐PeleeNet based on the PeleeNet *** addition,to reduce the impact of data imbalance on model training,this paper proposes a wafer data augmentation method based on a convolutional autoencoder by adding random Gaussian noise to the hidden *** method proposed in this paper has an average accuracy of 95.4%on the WM‐811K wafer dataset with only 173.643 KB of the parameters and 316.194 M of FLOPs,and takes only 22.99 s to detect 1000 wafer *** with the original PeleeNet network without optimization,the number of parameters and FLOPs are reduced by 92.68%and 58.85%,*** augmentation on the minority class wafer map improves the average classification accuracy by 1.8%on the WM‐811K *** the same time,the recognition accuracy of minority classes such as Scratch pattern and Donut pattern are significantly improved.
