With DC increase of large-scale proportion and new energy in power system and rapid development of new energy power generation technology and DC transmission, the characteristics and power grid stability have changed, and it is urgent to put forward a scientific and perfect short-circuit ratio index for systems stability of DC and new energy grid-connected. Based on the superposition theorem, the definitions of SCRedi and SCRedi-U of new energy grid-connected points are proposed, taking the interaction between new energy stations and DC lines influence into account. Secondly, according to the definition, the theoretical derivation of the critical short-circuit ratio is carried out, and specific value is given. Finally, the model is built on the PSASP platform, and the rationality, effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed indexes SCRedi and SCRedi-U are verified by simulation examples. © 2024 IEEE.

Urban rail transit system has significant advantages, but with its rapid development, noise and vibration problems caused by wheel polygonal wear are becoming more and more prominent. When scholars study wheel polygonal abrasion, they seldom take the coupled vibration of wheel-rail system into consideration, while the P2 force resonance in the coupled vibration of wheel-rail system will have serious impact on wheel-rail system, such as wheel surface defects and rail wave abrasion, etc., and even lead to the failure of the vehicle and track components, which threatens the comfort and safety of the vehicle operation. In this paper, for the phenomenon of polygonal wheel abrasion in a certain type of underground, the mechanism of polygonal wheel abrasion caused by coupled vibration of the wheel-rail system is investigated from the analysis of rigid-flexible coupling dynamics. It was found that when the vehicle was running at a speed of 40-45 km/h, the P2 force with a frequency of about 60 Hz reached the peak value, which caused the wheel polygonal wear, resulting in the occurrence of wheel polygons of the 13th to 14th order. Meanwhile, the effects of wheel-rail parameters and track excitation on the coupled vibration of the wheel-rail system were investigated. © 2024 SPIE.

This paper mainly focuses on the problem of target tracking trajectory generation for quadrotors in static complex environments. In this paper, a trajectory planning framework is proposed that can be used to address the occlusion problem caused by obstacles in target tracking situations. The main innovations are: First, a visibility function is introduced that is constructed based on a signed Euclidean distance field (ESDF) map. Based on this function, the favorable view direction is derived to track the target distinctly. Second, the distance between the target and chaser is optimized as one of the cost functions, resulting in a smooth and comfortable distance between them. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified on the Rviz platform. © 2022 IEEE.

VSPS (Variable speed pumped storage units) have been introduced into pumped storage power stations in China, but FSPS (conventional fixed speed pumped storage units) still account for a large proportion. The output power regulation range of VSPS and FSPS is wide under power generation conditions. However, under pumping conditions, FSPS units can only pump or shut down at full power rate, while VSPS can only regulate a little range of power. Therefore, if you want to maintain the large power grid operating safely and stably, it is very important to study the coordinated control strategy between units suitable for the pumping condition of pumped storage units. This paper first analyzes the characteristics of VSPS and FSPS outputting power under pumping conditions, and proposes to use the fast power regulation characteristics of VSPS to track dispatching instructions. When the regulation range exceeds the capacity range of VSPS, the pumping power of the units will be smoothly converted to FSPS, Secondly, the simulation model of four terminal HVDC transmission system is established in Matlab/Simulink. Finally, the simulation analysis is carried out for VSPS and FAPS in pumping condition by adopting coordinated control strategy to decrease the outputting power fluctuation of new energy power station, The proposed control strategy can effectively absorb the fluctuation of new energy outputting power and reduce the fluctuation of active power absorbed by load side in HVDC transmission system. Accurate forecasting of mid-long term photovoltaic power plays a key role in site planning, operation scheduling and mid-long term plan development for new power system. Meanwhile, the uncertainty in solar power generation is a key factor influencing the precision of its forecasting. This paper proposes a mid-long term PV power forecasting method considering periodic characterization, which first obtains the key meteorological factors through the maximal information coefficient, and extracts the timing features through ARIMA model for mid-long term PV power periodic component prediction. Then the results obtained from above are inputted to the LSTM model, which is trained using raw data to obtain the final PV power prediction results with high accuracy. Validation is carried out through the model's RMSE, MAE and MAPE metrics and the comparison of the model's forecasting results with traditional GRU model. © 2024 IEEE.

The detection performance of ground vehicles on the airport surface in video-sensor based air traffic control surveillance has not been satisfactory compared to larger planes, especially in panoramic images of remote tower applications. Inspired by the success of GAN-based super resolution and oversampling augmentation methods, we apply a new super-resolution network to resize cropped small samples and augment each of those images by resize-and-pasting small objects many times. It allows us to trade off the quantity of the detector on large objects with that on small objects. We propose an architecture with two components: ESRGAN and Detection network. We use residual dense blocks for ESRGAN, and for the detector network, we use one state-of-the-art detector (YOLOv3). Extensive experiments on a public (car overhead with context) dataset and another self-assembled airport surface dataset show superior performance of our method compared to the standalone state-of-the-art object detectors. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Vision-based terrain recognition technology can help the robot understand the surrounding environment and then adjust the control and motion strategy in time. However, most of the existing work focuses on urban environments, and little attention is paid to complex off-road environments. Moreover, the class imbalance in the off-road environment is highly dependent on the specific environment so that the class imbalance problem is more serious, which makes the semantic segmentation of rare classes more challenging. In this study, we propose a visual terrain recognition method based on different weight loss functions for ground mobile robots in the off-road environment with class imbalance. The visual information is input into the improved network for terrain recognition. In order to better identify the rare classes, different weights are assigned to different classes in the loss function of the improved network. After a series of experiments, the results show that our improvement achieves better results than the original model in the off-road environment. © 2023 IEEE.

Intelligent energy Internet of Things (IoT) supports smart cities construction through the functions of information sensing and energy management. However, massive application scenarios of smart cities result in serious fragmentation of IoT terminal ecosystem. Establishing platform-based terminal ecosystem is considered as a solution to the fragmentation problem. This paper presents key technologies and future trends of terminal ecosystem for intelligent energy IoT. Functions of intelligent energy IoT are addressed to summarize demands for IoT key technologies, which involving sensor, hardware platform, software system and machine-to-machine (M2M) communication. Future trends of platform-based terminal ecosystem, including unified resource model, reconfigurable hardware platform and lightweight software system are proposed to solve serious fragmentation. © 2022 IEEE.

In many industrial applications, it is necessary to obtain accurate human motion prediction. The prediction of human movement based on a 3D skeleton, which forecasts future postures using the human skeletal structure, significantly aids in enabling machines to understand human behavior and react more intelligently. Additionally, by predicting human actions, potential dangers can be perceived, especially in safety-related issues, necessitating a broader range of predictions. In this paper, considering the greater diversity generated by Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), we employ VAEs for prediction. In contrast to other studies, our primary focus is on obtaining more diverse samples.
