The quality of MAPbI3 film prepared by solvent engineering process highly depends on environment and antisolvent ***,we provided a simple methylamine chloride(MACl)solution treatment using a two-step process to enlarge the perovskite crystal grain sizes to more than 1 *** than treatment on the film surface,the MACl solution diffuses into the MAPbI_(3) films to assist the recrystallization of small crystal at the bottom of perovskite *** imitative contact between perovskite and substrate is ***,the enlargement of grain size and ten times enhancement of crystalline reduce trap-assisted recombination of perovskite ***,the significant improvement of cell efficiency of 20.89%as well as device stability is obtained with the MACl treatment.

The detection performance of ground vehicles on the airport surface in video-sensor based air traffic control surveillance has not been satisfactory compared to larger planes, especially in panoramic images of remote tower applications. Inspired by the success of GAN-based super resolution and oversampling augmentation methods, we apply a new super-resolution network to resize cropped small samples and augment each of those images by resize-and-pasting small objects many times. It allows us to trade off the quantity of the detector on large objects with that on small objects. We propose an architecture with two components: ESRGAN and Detection network. We use residual dense blocks for ESRGAN, and for the detector network, we use one state-of-the-art detector (YOLOv3). Extensive experiments on a public (car overhead with context) dataset and another self-assembled airport surface dataset show superior performance of our method compared to the standalone state-of-the-art object detectors. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

SEMG signal is widely used and explored in control strategies of powered assistive human-robot interaction systems due to its non-invasive nature and ability to estimate motion intention well. However, prolonged use of the sEMG-based systems leads to muscle fatigue, contributing to unstable sEMG signals and regarding the performance of sEMG-based control strategies. In this study, three subjects, including two healthy subjects and one stroke subject, participated in our experiment, and the time domain, frequency domain, and complex features extracted from their sEMG signals were utilized to evaluate muscle fatigue. The results indicate that sEMG from the stroke side of the stroke subject contains more non-linear and chaotic parts, and the statistical differences between different trials are more significant, indicating that stroke has a more significant impact on the stroke side of the stroke subject. This study suggests that RMS in the stroke side of stroke subjects is less than that in others, whereas FuzzyEn in the stroke side of stroke subjects is greater than that in others, indicating that stroke leads to different motion patterns and more susceptibility to muscle fatigue. © 2024 IEEE.

A Passive ISAR Jamming Method Based on Time-Modulated Corner Reflectors Under Asynchronous Control

The time-modulated corner reflector (TMCR) is an improvement of the traditional corner reflector utilizing time-modulated metasurfaces, which demonstrates superior capability in dynamically modulating characteristics of electromagnetic waves in real-time. Despite its potential, the application of TMCRs in radar imaging remains underexplored. This paper presents a passive ISAR modulation method through the asynchronous control of TMCRs, which can directly disrupt the ISAR imaging mechanism. Through the joint inter-pulse and intra-pulse periodic modulation, multiple TMCRs are alternately switched between strong and weak reflection states asynchronously, which can interfere with the alignment process of range profiles and further causing errors in initial phase compensation. The intra-pulse modulation model is constructed firstly, and the influence of TMCR and modulation parameters on the envelope correlation is investigated quantitatively. On this basis, the optimization model of inter-pulse modulation is developed, which is calculated through Genetic Algorithm (GA). Then the effectiveness of the method is systematically analyzed under varying application parameters, with corresponding applicable boundaries subsequently determined. Finally, experiments are conducted based on the electromagnetic simulation data and measured data of the UAV, which verifies that the proposed method can effectively interfere with the envelop alignment and phase compensation processes, thereby making the ISAR image blurred. © 1965-2011 IEEE.

Federated learning (FL) has been proposed as a promising distributed learning paradigm to realize edge artificial intelligence (AI) without revealing the raw data. Nevertheless, it would incur inevitable costs in terms of training latency and energy consumption, due to periodical communication between user equipments (UEs) and the geographically remote central parameter server. Thus motivated, we study the joint edge aggregation and association problem to minimize the total cost, where the model aggregation over multiple cells just happens at the network edge. After proving its hardness with complex coupled variables, we transform it into a set function optimization problem and prove the objective function is neither submodular nor supermodular, which further complicates the problem. To tackle this difficulty, we first split it into multiple edge association subproblems, where the optimal solution to the computation resource allocation can be efficiently obtained in the closed form. We then construct a substitute function with the supermodularity and provable upper bound. On this basis, we reformulate an equivalent set function minimization problem under a matroid base constraint. We then propose an approximation algorithm to the original problem based on the two-stage search strategy with theoretical performance guarantee. Both extensive simulations and field experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of our proposed solution. © 2023 IEEE.

Spatiotemporal variation of ecological environment quality and extreme climate drivers on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau

Coherent optical emission of free induction decay (FID) excited by the multiple-photon resonance has been recently observed in nitrogen ions produced by intense femtosecond laser *** we report that orbit angular momentum (OAM) of the pump laser pulses can be transferred to the much longer pulsed free induction decay emission with the OAM *** was found that when the pump laser frequency approaches the fraction of the 391.4 nm emission (ν_(0)/5),an FID emission is emitted whereas its topological charge was identified to be 5 times of the pump *** to the reduced laser intensity with a vortex pump compared to the conventional Gaussian beam,the resonant pump laser wavelength presents a redshift,and the FID signal is significantly weaker.

Mixed insulation oil is considered as a desired substitute for traditional mineral oil.A novel 3-element mixed insulation oil has been developed in our previous works,whose parameters satisfy the mineral oil standard(IEC 60296:2012).In the application of transformer oil,dissolved gas analysis is an effective method for insulation fault *** fault is a common and typical fault in transformers;however,the pyrolysis process and gas production characteristics of mixed insulation oil under thermal fault remain *** this study,the pyrolysis process and gas production characteristics of 3-element mixed insulation oil have been studied through simulation and experiments,and mineral oil is equally treated for *** show that the gas production characteristics of mixed oil are closely related to its base oils,and 3-element mixed insulation oil generates more H_(2)and C_(2)H_(6)under thermal fault,in which the percentage of H_(2)in the mixed oil is always three times that in the mineral *** CO_(2)is produced in mixed oil under thermal fault because of ester bonds;C_(2)H_(4)is also a main characteristic gas for mixed insulation oil under thermal fault,and its proportion increases continuously with the increase of *** mineral oil,the weight loss temperature in thermogravimetric(TG)curve corresponds to evaporation rather than *** esters have poor thermal stability according to simulation results,but they possess high flash point and weight loss temperature in the TG curve primarily because of their large average molecular weight.

Design and analysis of a whole-body controller for a velocity controlled robot mobile manipulator

Mobile manipulators, which are intrinsically redundant when the manipulator and mobile base are moving together, are known for their capabilities to carry out multiple tasks at the same time. This paper presents a whole-body control framework, inspired by legged bio-robots, for a velocity controlled non-holonomic mobile manipulator based on task priority. Control primitives, such as manipulability optimization, trajectory tracking of the end-effector and mobile base, and collision avoidance, are considered in the framework and arranged at different priorities. Lower priority tasks are projected into the null space of control tasks with higher priorities. As a result, lower level tasks are completed without affecting the performance of higher priority tasks. Several experiments are implemented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller. The proposed method is proved to be an effective way to solve the whole-body control problem of velocity controlled mobile manipulators.

Magnetically soft continuum robot with automatic navigation capability has great potential to improve the treatment conventional vascular interventional surgery, which exists many problems such as long procedure time and high radiation for doctors to manipulate the passive guidewire. This paper proposes a novel guidewire robot system with magnetically steering and automatically propulsion ability. Actuated by an external magnetic field, the system is able to greatly increase the autonomy of conventional guidewires through the efficient coordination of steering and propulsion. We model the kinematics of autonomous propulsion and magnetically actuation steering separately. Then, the steering performance of the guidewire robot is validated under different magnetic field magnitudes and directions. Finally, two scenario application experiments are implemented to demonstrate the automatic navigation capability of the proposed guidewire robot in a simulated clinical environment. The proposed guidewire robot system provides an effective solution for advancing the automation of vascular interventional surgery. © 2022 IEEE.
