This paper addresses the problem of complex and challenging disturbance localization in the current power system operation environment by proposing a disturbance localization method for power systems based on group sparse representation and entropy weight *** different electrical quantities are selected as observations in the compressed sensing *** entropy weighting method is employed to calculate the weights of different observations based on their relative disturbance ***,by leveraging the topological information of the power system and pre-designing an overcomplete dictionary of disturbances based on the corresponding system parameter variations caused by disturbances,an improved Joint Generalized Orthogonal Matching Pursuit(J-GOMP)algorithm is utilized for *** reconstructed sparse vectors are divided into three *** at least two parts have consistent node identifiers,the node is identified as the disturbance *** the node identifiers in all three parts are inconsistent,further analysis is conducted considering the weights to determine the disturbance *** results based on the IEEE 39-bus system model demonstrate that the proposed method,utilizing electrical quantity information from only 8 measurement points,effectively locates disturbance positions and is applicable to various disturbance types with strong noise resistance.

In this paper, an augmented reality-based perceptual feedback method of dexterous prosthesis has been proposed, which can establish an intuitive and convenient feedback pathway and reduce the use load of prosthetic hands. The proprioception and force feedback strategy was proposed and established based on augmented reality technology. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the above strategies are verified by experiments. First, the feasibility of the proprioception feedback strategy is tested, and then the force feedback strategy is tested. The experimental results show that the proposed method establishes an effective perceptual feedback closed-loop control, improving patients' cognition of the prosthesis, including force, grasping gestures and other information, and improving users' perception ability.

Based on the meshing method, a representation and conflict detection method for the traditional airspace is designed. The method performs grid representation and conflict detection for the traditional geometric airspace. Firstly, the global airspace is divided and gridded, and all grids are coded and expressed digitally;Next, a grid coded multiway tree is established by using the latitude, longitude and height codes of the airspace grid to represent the traditional geometric airspace;Finally, the airspace conflict detection method based on grid is constructed. According to the airspace grid multiway tree, the conflict airspace grid is obtained and the conflict area is represented by the conflict airspace grid. Simulation results show that this method can improve the efficiency of conflict detection compared with the traditional conflict detection algorithm. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Tumor treatment of irreversible electroporation (IRE) has achieved remarkable curative effect in clinical application. However, due to the limitation of pulse parameters, the region of tumor ablation is small, which cannot be conveniently applied in the treatment of large-size tumors. Recent studies show that high-voltage nanosecond pulse combined with low-voltage microsecond pulse can significantly increase ablation region. In order to study the biological effects of synergistic pulses, a novel topology of the all-solid-state synergistic pulse generator was proposed. By studying the topology structure, working principle, circuit simulation and prototype test, an all-solid-state synergistic pulse generator with adjustable parameters was developed by using semiconductor switch. The synergistic pulse sequence composed of high-voltage nanosecond pulses and low-voltage microsecond pulses can be output by the flexible control of switches. Carrying out the cytotoxicity test and flow cytometry, the results showed that synergistic pulses had better cell killing effect on Hepa 1-6 tumor cells. Meanwhile, monolayer ablation experiments further confirmed that synergistic pulses could produce larger ablation area with smaller energy. The development of the pulse generator meets the needs of tumor ablation of synergistic pulses, and lays a hardware foundation for further research on the bioelectrical effect of synergistic pulse and clinical application. © 2022 IEEE.

As the number of cores in large-scale chip multiprocessors (CMPs) grows, the complexity and overhead of directory-based cache coherence protocols become increasingly important. To reduce the cost of coherence protocol, previous studies classified data into private and shared, and used different coherence protocols for them. On the one hand, private data can be taken out of coherence. On the other hand, because of the spatial locality of private data, a coarse-grained directory can be used to reduce the directory storage. This paper proposes RG_VIPS, a simple coherence protocol based on region granularity directory. We use a write-through protocol for private data and a write-back protocol for shared data. Compared to previous work VIPS, RG_VIPS eliminates OS dependencies and also implements a simple cache coherence protocol (only two stable protocol states, Valid and Invalid) with finer granularity. Simulation of a 16-core CMP with PARSEC shows that the RG_VIPS protocol has little impact on the performance while simplifying the protocol. © 2022 IEEE.

BACKGROUND: In an online issue tracking system, e.g., GitHub Issue Tracker, feature requests and the associated comment stream provide valuable crowd-generated knowledge for requirements elicitation. To decide whether a feature request should be accepted or not, stakeholders need to identify the comments for/against the feature and understand the two-sided opinions, which is time- and effort-consuming considering the abundant information embedded in lengthy comment stream per feature request. AIMS: This paper proposes VoteBot for automatically detecting stance (for/against) and summarizing the related opinions on a feature request, which can facilitate the decision making (i.e., voting) of feature requests. To our best knowledge, such an approach is previously unexplored for crowd-based requirements elicitation. METHOD: VoteBot is a relation-aware approach, which incorporates three types of relations among the comments or among the comment sentences to better understand the discussions about feature requests. Specifically, it extracts the reply-to relation among the comments, and incorporates it into a BERT-based classifier for stance detection. It also designs a graph-based ranking algorithm, and incorporates semantic relevance and argumentative relations for stance summarization. RESULTS: The automatic evaluation on 250 feature requests with 6,598 comments from five GitHub projects, and the evaluation with practitioners on five new projects, show the promising results. CONCLUSIONS: VoteBot is effective in stance detection and stance summarization, and potentially useful for understanding feature requests and associated discussions in real-world practice. © 2023 IEEE.

Omnidirectional Wireless Power Transfer Based on 2-D Decoupled Combination Coil and Excitation Current Vector Control

This article presents an excitation current vector control method based on a two-dimensional (2-D) decoupled combination transmitting coil that can generate a three-dimensional (3-D) rotating magnetic field. Through this method, the output power of the omnidirectional wireless power transfer (WPT) system can reach small fluctuations, when the receiving coil rotates at any angle. First, the 2-D combination transmitting coil, consisting of three regular hexagonal coils, is analyzed by the second-order vector potential theory. Then, mutual decoupling among the three regular hexagonal coils is achieved at a specific coil overlapping distance. Moreover, system equivalent circuit model is established, and the relationship between system output power and dual phase shift angles is obtained. Furthermore, an excitation current vector control method is proposed to generate the 3-D rotating magnetic field under different receiving coil rotation conditions. Uniform spatial energy distribution can be obtained through this method, in which the magnetic field amplitude is adjusted by the inverter phase shift angles, and the magnetic field direction is determined by the phase angle differences. Finally, the proposed method is verified based on a developed omnidirectional WPT prototype. Experimental results show that when the receiving coil rotates at any angle, relatively high system transmission efficiencies can be achieved. Meanwhile, the maximum output power fluctuation rate is only 12.3%, which is improved compared to the existing literature. © 2025 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

Polarization and waveform optimization can significantly improve the detection ability of fully polarized radar. However, in practical scenarios, atmospheric particles frequently induce depolarization effects on radar waves, thereby influencing precise target detection, a phenomenon predominantly observed with raindrop particles. This paper establishes a target detection model for fully polarized radar in rainy condition. Subsequently, a joint transceiver iterative optimization algorithm is devised, utilizing the maximum output signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (SINR) of the system as the benchmark, and imposing dual constraints of energy and resemblance on the transmitting waveform. Ultimately, the effectiveness of the proposed method under rainy condition is validated through simulation, and recommendations for engineering applications are provided based on the analysis. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2023.
