The critical node problem(CNP)aims to deal with critical node identification in a graph,which has extensive applications in many *** CNP is a challenging task due to its computational complexity,and it attracts much attention from both academia and *** this paper,we propose a population-based heuristic search algorithm called CPHS(Cut Point Based Heuristic Search)to solve CNP,which integrates two main *** first one is a cut point based greedy strategy in the local search,and the second one involves the functions used to update the solution pool of the ***,a mutation strategy is applied to solutions with probability based on the overall average similarity to maintain the diversity of the solution *** are performed on a synthetic benchmark,a real-world benchmark,and a large-scale network benchmark to evaluate our *** with state-of-the-art algorithms,our algorithm has better performance in terms of both solution quality and run time on all the three benchmarks.

The variable selection of high dimensional nonparametric nonlinear systems aims to select the contributing variables or to eliminate the redundant *** a high dimensional nonparametric nonlinear system,however,identifying whether a variable contributes or not is not ***,based on the Fourier spectrum of densityweighted derivative,one novel variable selection approach is developed,which does not suffer from the dimensionality curse and improves the identification ***,a necessary and sufficient condition for testing a variable whether it contributes or not is *** proposed approach does not require strong assumptions on the distribution,such as elliptical *** simulation study verifies the effectiveness of the novel variable selection algorithm.

For the task of content retrieval,analysis and generation of film and television scene images in the field of intelligent editing,fine-grained emotion recognition and prediction of images is of great *** this paper,the fusion of traditional perceptual features,art features and multi-channel deep learning features are used to reflect the emotion expression of different levels of the *** addition,the integrated learning model with stacking architecture based on linear regression coefficient and sentiment correlations,which is called the LS-stacking model,is proposed according to the factor association between multi-dimensional *** experimental results prove that the mixed feature and LS-stacking model can predict well on the 16 emotion categories of the self-built image *** study improves the fine-grained recognition ability of image emotion by computers,which helps to increase the intelligence and automation degree of visual retrieval and post-production system.

The planetary rover with active suspension can climb steeper slopes and cross bigger obstacles in a wheel-step motion mode, which enables the planetary rover to perform more complex exploration tasks. However, wheel-step motion requires coordinated movement of the suspension and the wheels: the suspension can determine the wheel's sinkage depth and translation speed. Matching up with the wheel rotation speed can actively construct the slip ratio. The forces exerted on the wheels by sand during this process are a key index for motion control. This poses new challenges to existing wheel-sand interaction models. In this paper, dynamic normal force tests are carried out. The dynamic variation of wheel normal force with slip ratio is investigated at different sinkage depths. It is found that the normal force exerted on the wheel increases firstly and then decreases with the slip ratio, and reaches the maximum value near s=0. The distributed stresses of the wheel were analysed by discrete element method (DEM) simulation, and the phenomenon of the distribution stress reconstruction of the wheel is found. Further, by analyzing the local particles in contact with the wheel, it is found that the particle movement direction and morphology vary with slip ratio. The analysis of the wheel's normal force and the granular material variation with slip ratio provides the basis for establishing a physics-based wheel-sand interaction model. © 2023 IEEE.

Ultrahigh Performance Triboelectric Nanogenerator Enabled by Charge Transmission in Interfacial Lubrication and Potential Decentralization Design

Triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) is a promising strategy for harvesting low frequency mechanical energy. However, the bottlenecks of limited electric output by air/dielectric breakdown and poor durability by material abrasion seriously restrict its further improvement. Herein, we propose a liquid lubrication promoted sliding mode TENG to address both issues. Liquid lubrication greatly reduces interface material abrasion, and its high breakdown strength and charge transmission effect further enhance device charge density. Besides, the potential decentralization design by the voltage balance bar effectively suppresses the dielectric breakdown. In this way, the average power density up to 87.26 W·m^(-2)·Hz^(-1), energy conversion efficiency of 48%, and retention output of 90% after 500,000 operation cycles are achieved, which is the highest average power density and durability currently. Finally, a cell phone is charged to turn on by a palm-sized TENG device at 2 Hz within 25 s. This work has a significance for the commercialization of TENG-based self-powered systems.

Edge computing exploits node devices situated in close proximity to terminals to deliver distributed computing services directly to users, with FPGAs serving as the predominant platform. With the amplification in volume and intricacy of deep learning models, effectively deploying these models on FPGA devices introduces substantial challenges. To counter this predicament, this paper introduces an FPGA-based hardware acceleration framework for reconfigurable edge devices tailored for Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Initially, a method for dynamically quantizing network models is devised to markedly curtail model memory consumption. Subsequently, a meticulously engineered hardware acceleration unit is formulated to attain augmented computing parallelism via meticulous temporal redesign. Finally, model deployment on FPGA devices for inference verification is showcased utilizing fully connected and convolutional neural networks as exemplars. On the MNIST dataset, the FPGA inference unit attains remarkable accuracy and computational efficiency in comparison to CPUs and GPUs. © 2024 IEEE.

In traditional human-machine interface research, a single sensing mode is often adopted, focusing on individual human motion classification experiments. However, the performance often declines when applied across individuals. Ultrasonic and inertial sensing, as mainstream technologies in human-machine interfaces, can respectively detect the muscle states and limb information of the human body, offering potential complementary benefits. The fusion of ultrasonic(US) and Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU) is expected to significantly enhance the generalization ability of physiological signals in motion intention recognition. This paper presents a method that employs fusion of ultrasound and IMU signals, and designs a Convolutional Neural Network with Channel Attention Module (IU-CAM-CNN) for gait classification experiments. The experimental results demonstrate that by introducing channel attention modules, the model's ability to extract features from fused signals can be effectively enhanced, resulting in a classification accuracy of 90% for cross-individual movements. In contrast, traditional LDA and CNN networks achieve only 22% and 47% classification accuracy, respectively. This method provides an effective solution for cross-individual movement intention recognition.
