This article proposes a health monitoring system platform for cross-river bridges based on big data. The system can realize regionalized bridge operation and maintenance management. The system has functions such as registration modification and deletion of sensor equipment, user registration modification and deletion, real-time display and storage of sensor monitoring data, and evaluation and early warning of bridge structure safety. The sensor is connected to the lower computer through the serial port, analog signal, fiber grating signal, etc. The lower computer converts a variety of signals into digital signals through the single-chip A/D sampling and demodulator, etc., and transmits it to the upper computer through the serial port. The upper computer uses ARMCortex-A9 Run the main program to realize multi-threaded network communication. The system platform is to test the validity of the model, and a variety of model verification methods are used for evaluation to ensure the reliability of the big data analysis method. © 2022 IEEE.

With the high integration of power electronic technologies in microgrids,the reliability assessment considering power electronic devices has become a hot ***,so far no research has considered the impact of the operation failure probability of power electronic equipment on the overall reliability of the *** paper aims to construct a holistic operation failure rate model of power electronic systems based on the overall reliability assessment of islanded microgrid with high penetration of renewable energy sources(RESs).In addition,to improve the reliability of islanded microgrid,the conventional battery energy storage system(BESS)is replaced by the hybrid energy storage system(HESS).Based on the proposed model,the operation failure models for the power electronic modules in microgrid are built and tested,and then the sensitivity analysis is performed for exploring the influence of various factors on the reliability of the microgrid.

Titanium alloys are widely used in various fields for its high strength, good corrosion resistance and high heat resistance. Many countries in the world have recognized the importance of titanium alloy materials, and have developed and applied them in practice. In order to accurately describe uniaxial tensile behavior and ratcheting behavior of material, a series of experiments of TA17 were conducted at room temperature and 350 ℃, including the uniaxial tensile experiments of TA17 with different processing techniques, the strain controlled cyclic experiments and the stress controlled cyclic experiments. The uniaxial tensile curves of materials with different processing techniques are discussed. The effects of different strain amplitudes of cyclic straining were analyzed. The effects of different combinations of mean stress and stress amplitude were analyzed. Finally, the uniaxial stress and strain curves with different processing techniques, cyclic stress and strain curves under different strain amplitudes and stress amplitude were obtained. The results show that the stress and strain curves of longitudinal plates and forgings are the lowest, while the stress and strain curves of transverse plates and bars are the highest. TA17 exhibited significant cyclic stability under different strain amplitudes and has obvious ratcheting behavior under asymmetric stress control. The obtained conclusions are helpful to improve the mechanical properties of TA17 and establish the cyclic constitutive model in the following work. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2020.

This paper studies the probabilistic evaluation of the optimal power-water flow (OPWF) of the integrated electricity-water system (IEWS) composed of the power system and the water distribution system (WDS). Most of the existing OPWF studies are limited to deterministic analysis, which cannot address the effects of the uncertainties, such as renewable power and loads, on the operation of the IEWS. Therefore, in this paper, the deterministic OPWF problem is first extended to a comprehensive probabilistic optimal powerwater flow (P-OPWF) problem by considering uncertainties in loads and photovoltaic (PV) power and their correlations. First, a piecewise linear approximation method is used to reformulate the original nonlinear OPWF problem into a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) problem. Then the third-order polynomial normal transformation (TPNT) technique is applied to deal with the probabilistic uncertainties and correlations, and finally, the probabilistic evaluation framework based on the Monte Carlo simulation is developed to provide an idea for solving the P-OPWF problem. Simulations based on a sample IEWS are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework. © 2020 IEEE.

The large-scale access of renewable energy to the power grid leads to a sharp increase in the demand for power system regulation capacity. In order to solve this problem, this paper explores the mechanism of supply and demand balance of power system regulation capacity, analyzes the transmission characteristics of regulation capacity, and proposes the adequacy index of node regulation capacity and the adequacy index of network transmission regulation capacity. The Garver-6 node system is used to verify the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed method. The example shows that the proposed evaluation method can accurately identify the weak links of regulation ability and clarify the causes of insufficient regulation ability.

The pulse trigger technology has a great influence on the output pulse of the Marx generator, and improving the trigger is of great significance to the stability, reliability and extensive use of the Marx generator. The research goal of this paper is to design a pulse transformer trigger to provide a 4MVMarx generator with a pulse whose front edge is less than 30ns, half-width is greater than 200ns and amplitude is 50kV. The design of pulse transformer is determined by the influence of transformer stray parameters - leakage inductance and distributed capacitance on the output pulse. In order to improve the steepness of the front edge of the output trigger pulse, a sharpening circuit is connected to the output side of the pulse transformer. Finally, the model of the pulse trigger unit is built and simulated by EMTP/ATP software, and the trigger pulse that meets the design requirements can be obtained, which realizes the optimized design of the pulse trigger unit.

Press-pack IGBT devices packaged with nanosilver sintering can overcome the problem of poor electrical-thermal contact performance between the component interfaces in the press-pack structure. But there are voids after the sintering of nanosilver solder, which is possible to cause fatigue and aging failure of the device. This paper proposes a method to analyze the effect of solder voids on the reliability of nanosilver sintered press-pack IGBT. First, a multiphysics coupling model and solder voids simulation method of a single-chip 3.3kV/50A nanosilver sintered press-pack IGBT are presented. Then, the effect of voids distribution mode, voids location, voids number and voids ratio on the electrical-thermal stress, junction temperature, on-voltage and current density are investigated by the multiphysics model. Finally, the process of voids failure evolution is simulated to analyze the effect of voids on the IGBT chip surface current density distribution. Studies indicate that solder voids have a great impact on the device performance parameters and reliability. © 2020 IEEE.

Prediction of subsurface oil reservoir pressure are critical to hydrocarbon production. However, the accurate pressure estimation faces great challenges due to the complexity and uncertainty of reservoir. The underground seepage flow and petrophysical parameters (permeability and porosity) are important but difficult to measure in oilfield. Deep learning methods have been successfully used in reservoir engineering and oil & gas production process. In this study, the effective but inaccessible subsurface seepage fields are not used, only the spatial coordinates and temporal information are selected as model input to predict reservoir pressure. A stacked GRU-based deep learning model is proposed to map the relationship between spatio-temporal data and reservoir pressure. The proposed deep learning method is verified by using a three-dimensional reservoir model, and compared with commonly-used methods. The results show that the stacked GRU model has a better performance and higher accuracy than other deep learning or machine learning methods in pressure prediction.

In recent years, magnetic pulse welding (MPW) technology has shown broad application prospects because of its unique advantages in dissimilar metal welding. The metal jet can clean up the dirt and oxide layer on the surface of the workpiece and promote metallurgical bonding, which is the key step in the MPW process. To explore the formation mechanism and characteristics of the metal jet, an experiment platform and integrated observation system for MPW was established in this work to carry out welding experiments on Al and Cu sheets. The complete metal jet trajectory was captured, and a smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) simulation model was established based on the calculation of collision speed and collision angle. The results show that when the discharge voltage is 15 kV, the collision speed is about 404 m/s and the collision angle is about 17º. The metal jet is generated at the angle between the Cu and Al sheets, forming the bright flash. And the intensity of the flash caused by the metal jet first increases and then decreases. The metal jet is composed of metal particles that fall off the surface of the sheet after the collision, with the characteristics of high temperature and high speed. This work can provide theoretical support for the in-depth study of the MPW mechanism and improvement of the welding effect. © 2021 IEEE.

The development of artificial general intelligence (AGI) and metaverse technologies hold great potential to enhance the effectiveness of smart cities and societies. we present a cyberphysical-social approach to integrating AGI into metaverse-based smart cities and societies, with a specific focus on parallel intelligence. The proposed approach considers the interplay between the physical environment, digital systems, social dynamics, and emerging forms of parallel intelligence, as well as swarm intelligence and collective intelligence. By leveraging these forms of parallel intelligence, the integration of AGI can create more responsive and proactive infrastructure, personalized and efficient services, and foster greater community engagement. The metaverse acts as a platform for simulating real-world scenarios and testing and refining AGI models before deployment in the physical world, while also facilitating the development and coordination of parallel intelligence. However, ethical considerations must be taken into account to ensure responsible deployment and avoid exacerbating existing societal inequalities or infringing upon individual privacy rights. This report provides a comprehensive framework for the integration of AGI and parallel intelligence into metaverse-based digital and smart organizations, while emphasizing the importance of human ethics, social responsibility, and ecological sustainability.
