With the rapid construction of spot market for electricity in China, there is a general trend that renewable energy participates in the electricity market. In order to analyze the economics of virtual power plant (VPP), this paper proposes an optimal bidding model based on the time-of-use power prices. Considering the prediction error distribution of wind power and solar power, which can be named as uncontrollable power sources (UPS), the method that three kinds of controllable power sources like energy storage, gas turbine and small hydropower station assume to reduce generation deviation of UPS is proposed and introduced to the optimization model. Based on the solution of the built linear programming model, the operating strategy and the economic analysis of VPPs combined with different power sources are investigated. The experimental results indicate that the economics of VPPs with different power sources are quite diverse. © 2021 IEEE.

Wheel's Slip Ratio and Sinkage Estimation for Planetary Rovers Moving on Deformable Terrain

Planetary rover plays a significant role in the lunar and Mars exploration missions and wheel's move status such as sinkage and slip ratio are the critical Factor to estimate the moving ability of the Mars rover. A method is proposed to estimate wheel's sinkage and skid angle based on terramechanic model and estimate slip ratio based on rover's dynamic model using Extended Kalman Filter algorithm. The proposed method can avoid the errors caused by Visual Odometry and improves the estimation accuracy of rover state through the fusion with other sensors' data. The effectiveness of the estimation method for planetary rovers is verified by comparing with the results obtained from dynamic simulation of Mars rovers.

With the rapid development of Internet of Things(IoT)technologies,the detection and analysis of malware have become a matter of concern in the industrial application of Cyber-Physical system(CPS)that provides various services using the IoT ***,many advanced machine learning methods such as deep learning are popular in the research of malware detection and analysis,and some achievements have been made so ***,there are also some *** example,considering the noise and outliers in the existing datasets of malware,some methods are not robust ***,the accuracy of malware classification still needs to be *** at this issue,we propose a novel method that combines the correntropy and the deep learning *** our proposed method for malware detection and analysis,given the success of the mixture correntropy as an effective similarity measure in addressing complex datasets with noise,it is therefore incorporated into a popular deep learning model,i.e.,Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),to reconstruct its loss function,with the purpose of further detecting the features of *** present the detailed design process of our ***,the proposed method is tested both on a real-world malware dataset and a popular benchmark dataset to verify its learning performance.

Modelling and experimental investigation of frequency splitting of hemispherical resonator with machining errors

Hemispherical Resonator (HSR) is a typical high-performance component due to the complex coupling relationship between the machining errors and performance parameters. To understand the impact of machining errors on frequency splitting, the frequency splitting model that couples the multiple machining errors was developed to elucidate the mechanism of frequency splitting and reveal the effect of geometric error parameters on frequency splitting innovatively. In addition, a method for characterizing machining errors is established to describe the circumferential mass uniformity of the hemispherical shell. Furthermore, measurement experiments of HSRs were performed to verify the accuracy of the model, and the results showed that the predicted errors of the model were within 15%. Both theoretical and experimental results demonstrated that the direct cause of frequency splitting is the uneven circumferential mass of HSR. In particular, the radial concentricity has the most significant influence on frequency splitting, followed by the coaxiality and roundness. Within the error range of 0-0.5 μm, frequency splitting values change by 0.945 Hz, 0.098 Hz, and 0.039 Hz, respectively. Furthermore, the coupling effect of machining errors and surface quality on frequency splitting was discussed, which showed machining errors is the predominant factor contributing to frequency splitting. This work not only enhance the understanding of the mechanism of frequency splitting, but also provide theoretical guidance for the parameter optimization involved in high-performance manufacturing of HSR.

Nowadays, the integrated energy system (IES) has become an inevitable development trend for energy systems. With the deepening coupling relationship between the power system and the water network, the advantages of the integrated electricity-water system (IEWS) in reducing operating costs and improving energy efficiency are highlighted gradually. However, the existing research on the state estimation (SE) of IEWS ignores the difference of various kinds of pipe’s head loss formulas. This paper proposes an integrated state-estimation framework for IEWS based on an accurate head loss formula for pipes which considers the influence of fluid physical properties with a broader application scope in flow rate. Bi-level SE framework calculates the friction factor of all pipes to get a precise SE model. Finally, a test IEWS which consists of an 11-node water network and an 18-bus power system is used to verify the effectiveness of the computational framework at high flow rate.

Spatial and Temporal Pattern Changes and Driving Forces:Analysis of Salinization in the Yellow River Delta from 2015 to 2020

China’s Yellow River Delta represents a typical area with moist semi-humid soil salinization,and its salinization has seriously affected the sustainable use of local *** use of remote sensing technology to understand changes in the spatial and temporal patterns of salinization is key to combating regional land *** this study,a feature space model was constructed for remote sensing and monitoring land salinization using Landsat 8 OIL multi-spectral *** feature parameters were paired to construct a feature space model;a total of eight feature space models were *** accuracy analysis was conducted by combining salt-loving vegetation data with measured data,and the model demonstrating the highest accuracy was selected to develop salinization inversion maps for 2015 and *** results showed that:(1)The total salinization area of the Yellow River Delta displayed a slight upward trend,increasing from 4244 km^(2) in 2015 to 4629 km^(2) in ***,the area’s salting degree reduced substantially,and the areas of saline soil and severe salinization were reduced in size;(2)The areas with reduced salinization severity were mainly concentrated in areas surrounding cities,and primarily comprised wetlands and some regions around the Bohai Sea;(3)Numerous factors such as the implementation of the“Bohai Granary”cultivation engagement plan,increase in human activities to greening local residential living environments,and seawater intrusion caused by the reduction of sediment contents have impacted the distribution of salinization areas in the Yellow River Delta;(4)The characteristic space method of salinization monitoring has better applicability and can be promoted in humid-sub humid regions.

As the global power industry evolves, transformer insulation systems face increasing challenges. The aging of cellulose insulation paper (cellulose-IP) at elevated temperatures significantly impacts its insulation properties and overall lifespan. To enhance the thermal aging resistance and industrial usability of cellulose-IP, this study employs nano-boron nitride (h-BN) along with three silane coupling agents - 3-ammonopropyltriethoxysilane (KH550), 3-glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (KH560), and 3-methacryloyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (KH570) - to modified cellulose-IP. Upon evaluating the properties and simulation results of the modified cellulose-IP, KH550-hBN demonstrated superior properties and was selected for an accelerated thermal aging test lasting 60 days. The results indicated that KH550-hBN effectively mitigates the degradation of cellulose-IP. In the late aging stage, the mechanical properties of the modified cellulose-IP deteriorated more slowly than those of pure cellulose-IP. Additionally, thermal conductivity improved by 26.9%, while breakdown field strength increased by 12.1%. The introduction of KH550-hBN promotes the formation of a complete thermal conductivity network within the cellulose matrix, increases the number of intermolecular hydrogen bonds and introduces nano-barrier regions. These improvements enhance the interactions between the cellulose systems and effectively inhibit the generation and migration of polar derivatives during the aging process, resulting in a significant improvement in the longevity and stability of transformer internal insulation systems. © 1994-2012 IEEE.

In order to make full use of the concept of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and the collaborative design capability of the open model-based engineering environment (OpenMBEE) in establishing complex product development platform, we propose an effective method to solve the problem of unified identity authentication in OpenMBEE integration. The proposed method is based on the Model View Controller(MVC) architecture in OpenMBEE, which has the characteristics strong plasticity and can be benefit for expanding the function in the controller layer. In our research, we make full use of the Software Development Kit (SDK) of OpenMBEE to expand the existing functions in the controller layer, and increase the function of communicating with the application development platform, then realize the function of sharing user authentication information between the development platform and OpenMBEE. After expansion, the system includes three modules, including the Front-end Service Module(FSM), MQ based Information Receiving Service Module(IFRSM), and the OpenMBEE Back-end Server Module(BSM). The effectiveness of the proposed strategies is verified by some practical instances, which verifies that our study can provide an effective design idea for the identity authentication in OpenMBEE integration. ©2021 IEEE

Energy Harvesting Floor Using Sustained-Release Regulation Mechanism for Self-Powered Traffic Management

Energy harvesting from streets, squares, and other areas to supply power to equipment and systems in these environments is environmentally friendly and more convenient for functions requiring low power consumption. To harvest more pulsed mechanical energy and improve the quality factor of electrical output for immediate utilization, we propose a bidirectional energy harvesting floor with a sustained-release regulation mechanism (BEHF-SRM). The proposed harvester converts the pulsed and irregular excitation into continuous unidirectional rotation of the working wheel. The proposed harvester converts pulsed vertical direct motion into continuous unidirectional rotation of the working wheel. Resetting the harvester can also drive the work wheel's unidirectional rotation, and the kinetic energy converts into electrical energy. A dynamic model is established and validated experimentally. A person can easily step on the prototype BEHF-SRM and light 20 LED bulbs (rated power 1 W). The prototype can continue to provide electricity for about 7 seconds after stepping on the unit. The prototype demonstrates that self-powered automated pedestrian crosswalk warnings improve pedestrian safety. The results show that the proposed harvester is a potential solution for providing a sustainable and environmentally friendly energy supply for the intelligent design of "smart" cities." © 2023, The Authors.
